It's been QUITE awhile since I posted here, though I still post regularly on ATF. I hope everyone has been well!
DESCRIPTION:
Full-flavored, heavy "sticky" caramel Pistachio RY4 with woody backnote
RECIPE:
HC Caramel 6%
TFA Ethyl Maltol 0.5%
TFA Pistachio 3%
TFA Red Oak 0.5%
TFA RY4 Double 2.5%
CAP Sugar Cookie 3.5%
TFA Toasted Marshmallow 2%
NOTES: You MUST use Health Cabin Caramel for this mix. It is the only sticky caramel on the market(imho) currently & is a perfect mate for TFA Double RY4! No ifs, ands, or buts!!!!
TFA Toasted Marshmallow adds a great toasted tobacco' nuance. TFA Red Oak...what can I say? It adds the perfect woody aftertaste that most RY4s lack. No extra vanilla flavoring was needed here, as TFA Double RY4 has that covered! CAP Sugar Cookie adds sweetness, as well as helping the TFA Pistachio with that roasted feel I was looking for.

Is this a clone of Charlie Noble's Pistachio RY4? or is it similar? That's one of my favorite commercial juices, been looking for a clone for a long time.
Regardless, looks like this is worth a shot.
It's not a clone, no. I guess it's similar only in that it's a RY4 with pistachio in it...
I have one that I call Pissed Off. It's quite literally just TFA RY4 Double (5%), TFA Pistachio (5%), and FW Toffee Dream Cream (4%) as a 70/30. It was one of my first recipes 3 years ago and to this day cannot get enough of it. I've also dabbled in adding butterscotch and custards to make it smokier and creamy, but I love the original.
So maybe start a recipe post for this recipe you speak of with flavor notes?
