Thanks for this as well! I picked both of these up because I thought we (the community) will eventually come up with some nifty ways to bend flavors/recipes with them.

I did use this in a Blue Raspberry mix and it became significantly more candy-like in taste and texture. Pretty excited about it, think I'm gonna mix one up with Jam It instead just to compare the two.

Also: Very neat/unique way of organizing and communicating your process. I certainly dig it.

Very cool! I know a good amount of mixers are still looking for their perfect Blue* Raspberry flavor and using this additive; I can see how that could help out a lot. When you do compare the two, let me know your thoughts. What would be super interesting to try (after you test them individually) is using the 2 additives together in your Blue Raspberry mix. 😊

0.5% FA Jammy/Candy Wizard

0.75% HS Blueberry

8% LB Blue Raspberry

That's what I use in my bubblegum recipe and it's delish.

Would you say this leans more towards the Candy or the Jammy side of things? I've tried mixing it with various strawberries in various proportions, trying to create an authentic strawberry jam, and I was disappointed - seemed to me it should just be called Candy Wizard. Not to say it's unpleasant, actually I think if you're going for candy it's actually pretty good, but it wasn't really jammy to me. Absolutely useless for making jam on toast, or jam doughnuts, less convincing than just the fruits and bakery flavours by themselves in fact. I ended up throwing away 10ml of my Jam Monster clone.

Would you say VTA Jam It does a better job of creating jam flavours than this?

I know this general question has been asked and answered here before, but not very satisfactorily I reckon: Does anyone know of a good way to bend fruit flavours to taste like jam? Simply choosing the right fruit flavour isn't really going to cut it in my opinion, not if you're trying to emulate the taste of some commercial juices which get the taste of jam right - some of them don't just taste like a 'jammy strawberry', they taste like actual strawberry jam, which is quite a distinct flavour. I bet some of them are using actual strawberry jam concentrates.

Shisha Strawberry tastes more like ice cream syrup to me

Hi JimDoom,I don't think it's unpleasant either but I haven't played with this outside of the 2 testers I made: Vaping it Solo and trying it with the Unripe Banana (FA). For me, it didn't impart a forward leaning "jammy" quality. If I had to label it...it'd be like a Fluffy Semi-Sticky Gummy* Candy-like note with hints of that tart citrus found in some candy. As far as VTA Jam It - to me, it imparts very similar characteristics as this when used with Natural (not artificial or candy leaning) flavors. It also has a more forward "Passionfruit" like flavor.

I def. don't want to push you in the wrong direction but I would imagine using VTA Jam It could work because the body it imparts is not as dense as FA Jammy/Candy Wizard. It may be worth trying a 2:1 ratio of an Artificial/Candy-like fruit flavor and a Sweet Natural Flavor with the VT Jam It. For example: Juicy Strawberry (FA) + Sweet Strawberry (JF) + Jam It. Whatchu think? Also, have you tried the Glazed Strawberries (VT)?
