Did you just start DIY/mixing your own juice? Just as a humble reminder to not over look the basics.

Hardware-
Coils/Cotton
Your coils will probably be lasting alot longer due to the preserving lifespan of clean juice, (no sweetner/95% less sweetner) but thats not to say they would get llogged/worn out. Change out those janky wicks and rotate those coils once in a while. Sometimes those coils might be throwing that flavor off.

Batteries/Wattage
Batteries go to half-life because you were pulsing your coils to burn that janky scaled up sugar-coat?
Did the wattage jump up because the buttons are touchy and went up to max and you took a hit that felt like you were drinking lava?
Have you inspected your coils to make sure they ain't looking you need an tetnus shot?
Yeah, we all been there...

Health/Hygiene
Your juice might just not taste right because you aren't hydrated or just because your breath stinks or your gut is altering your taste buds. Drink some "h-h-h-igh quality h20" and let nature do its thing. ..and brush ya dang teeth and reset your flavor platte with some pickle juice or some ground up coffee. Those wine-chugging folks do it, so it MUST be a key to a success...

Anyway, use this as a guide to remember that just because a recipe doesn't taste...as it might say it should.. look at the more overlooked variables, the recipe is probably the #1 suspect, the %'s might be a little wonky, but.. it might just be you/your gear.

Vape safe, friends.
Thanks for the PSA.
i used to run sweeter ejuices like Air Factory Green Apple. Would I just add sweetener to get that level of sweet, or just leave my mixes in a drawer for two or three weeks to let it cure/steep?
I'm currently making a God Milk mix, a lychee mix, and a honeydew mix.
Steeping doesn‘t sweeten juices.
If you want sweet e-juice, add sweetener like CAP Super Sweet, but don‘t go overboard. For CAP Super Sweet, 0.25 - 0.5% is PLENTY sweet.
Have fun!
Equipment is the biggest reason most people aren't tasting things right. Step away from the subohm tanks and get a rebuildable RDA/RTA.
I respectfully disagree. I have nothing against rebuildables and use them myself. But todays subohm tanks have greatly improved as a whole. If you're not getting great flavor out of something like a Horizon Falcon (With a good coil of course) somethings wrong with the juice.
