This thread is for you to share what you are vaping lately, be it your own or another mixers recipe. Maybe you happened to stumble upon your new ADV in the January Recipes Thread? Or did someone recommend your first mix to you in the Suggest a recipe for my flavors Thread
Share what you liked or didn't like too much, but most importantly, please make sure to properly link to the recipe and to the mixer if they're on reddit.
If you need some inspiration, some websites keep track of your mixes and batches: e-Liquid Recipes and All The Flavors.
Also make sure to checkout last week's thread for inspiration or to follow up on a mix that turned out even better after a week of steeping!
Happy Vaping!
Blueberries. 29 of them, well, 28 if you don't count verifying that FE Blueberry from ECX and SC Blueberry from BCF are exactly the same thing.
I was hoping to find a single blueberry that would be as outstanding as /u/ediblemalfunction 's Blueberry Trinity and stop making it necessary to almost always stack blueberries on top of each other. That hope was dashed but there were a couple of consolation prizes.
JF Blueberry seems to be quite similar to FA Bilberry, except better in every way. I said I didn't find a single blueberry that would do the job, but I can't imagine the Trinity wouldn't be improved by using JF in place of FA.
VT Bilberry Ripe is the closest single flavor to a perfect blueberry jam, beating all of the flavors named "blueberry jam" even -- no, especially -- VT Blueberry Jam, which sucks. Unless the labels on my bottles of Shisha Bilberry and Blueberry Jam somehow got switched.
As for blueberries I'd definitely recommend avoiding, nothing beats doing your own testing and deciding for yourself, but I think INW Blueberry is repulsive (somehow tastes both rotten and medicinal) and VT Blueberry is probably only good for some kind of blue scented marker nostalgia thing, like vaping CAP Glazed Donut specifically for the playdough, really takes one back to elementary school.
> JF Blueberry seems to be quite similar to FA Bilberry
I feel the same way about their Forrest Mix. It's very similar to FA Forrest Fruit, but I like Jungle's version a bit more. It's a great flavor.
That seems to be the JF modus operandi. Two more examples in addition to Blueberry and Forest Mix: JF Cookie and JF Biscuit versus FA Cookie and INW Biscuit. Very similar, but just a bit better.
Woah. And here I would have thought the trinity would be obsolete now. I wanted to tune in live to the show the other night. Got home from work and decided sleep was a better idea.
I'll be grabbing some of that JF Bilberry in 3,2,1
Well, now you don't have to watch the replay, I hit the highlights for you. Definitely nothing out of all those blueberries that rendered a combination of three blueberries including FW and TFA Extra obsolete, though maybe some of the more devout Trinitarians will consider the suggestion that JF should replace FA in it to be some kind of heresy.
So CAP Glazed donut, VT Blueberry.... Maybe for those who as kids put ketchup on everything, some TFA raspberry sweet.... What else is needed for the Primary School juice?
We need something that tastes like construction paper. I've picked out both corrugated cardboard and posterboard off notes in various flavors but have yet to find a solid construction paper vape.
Butter Almond Custard by Krucial on ATF, only I added 1.5% WF Glazed Donut (SC) .
What an awesome custard recipe as it is! One of the best I've tried, it really makes Cap VC V1 shine at it's best. The addition of the donut is tasty, might try it at 2% next time to get a little more of the donut flavor.
Mixing this tomorrow!
I mixed it again but this time I upped the donut to 2% and it comes through a bit better. Just a heads up! It's still good at 1.5% though Haha
Strawberry Fog. I've been trying quite a few strawberry based recipes as they seem to be most suited to my initial purchase of flavors. I like this one better than Mustard Milk, Strawberry Cookie and Strawberry Shortcake Bar. I think it's the presence of custard in the Strawberry Fog that I'm digging.
I've Had sb shortcake bar by not charles manson and its one of my favorites.... I've made sb fog also....and mustard milk ...so glad I'm one who can taste SB! Will give sb cookie a try....and im going to make another batch of the fog today....good stuff! I make a sb biscuit thats one of my adv's....but I'm one that loves inw. Biscuit....
If that strawberry cookie by /u/ediblemalfunction is like 2 years old then I think it's one I mixed up early on in my mixing journey and I remember really loving it.
Edit: it is! I just searched my recipe history on ELR and I first mixed that straw cookie feb. 5, 2017!
That Strawberry Fog is pretty nice. Have you tried Better than Mothers Milk? I tried it recently and found it delicious, fairly similar to Strawberry Fog from what I remember of that.
I mixed up some of ConcreteRiver’s Fiestas and Fiascos for the first time last weekend. This recipe is simply amazing. On paper, the ingredients look like they were picked at random, bot the result is incredible. It’s like nothing else out there.
I've been vaping it for a few months. I'm a big fan. I admit that when I first tried it I thought, "I'm not sure if I'm going to like this." The more I vaped it the better it kept tasting! For anyone on the fence about this one, get the flavors and make this.
.
I got some FA Jasmine yesterday to try Terror Hawk.
4 day steeped 123 Blueberry and Lemon Cake I mixed with:
- 1% FA Meringue
- 2% INW Lemon Cake
- 3% FLV Blueberry Muffin
Missed a bit of tartness, and the blueberry in the muffin needed a boost so added 1% CAP Blueberry Jam. It's getting there.
INW Lemon Cake gives me the nice browned edges of the muffin and the lemon is just enough to spark the blueberries in the muffin/ jam combo.
Kit: Drop Solo @ 30w, and one the coils that came with it while I wait for payday.
I've put the blueberries in the drawer for a bit and am just vaping some stuff I enjoy. During the day at work I'm stealth vaping my Vanilla Mint Sex for pods in a Breeze 2. At home in the RDAs I've got my Adios Mother F#cker coffee nut RY4 and some of u/eyemakepizza's Blueberry Ice Cream. I'll be sure to leave you a review after I finish the bottle!
Awesome to hear! How are you liking it??
It's probably the best blueberry ice cream I've had. I love Viserion but I add a little HS French Vanilla Ice Cream to it. Your recipe is really very good. I think the vanilla swirl is what makes the ice cream pop. I also like Capella Blueberry Jam a lot even though it leans towards blackberry to me. It's a great contrast to FW Blueberry here.
Wow! That is an epic compliment, thank you!
Foment is the one who introduced me to the Vanilla Swirl/VBIC combo, and its killer. I have to agree with you on the Cap BBJ though, it definitely does toe the line of blueberry/blackberry. An interesting flavor though.
I recently got LB VIC and I might do a batch with that vs the TFA VBIC because the LB is absolutely wonderful so far.
First attempt at "strawberita" (without any beer/alcohol flavor...just wanted it tasty)
6% ripe strawberry TFA
4% key lime TFA
2% sour TFA
1% dragonfruit TFA
.5% lemon juice

Did a quick US steep which is know is controversial for some people but I like this method. The lime is a bit overpowering so I'll take it down to 3% next time and see how I like it. However it is a very tasty and flavorful vape. I really like sour flavors but this might be too sour for most people.
I certainly think with 2% sour and 3-4% key lime your coils will be accumulating gunk in a hell of a hurry.
I'm intrigued by your direction here though!
I haven't quite figured out the magic behind it yet, but for some reason I seem to get a really long life out of my coils. I usually only change once every 3 weeks to a month out of prebuilts and waaaaaay longer out of rebuildables even though I change my coil as soon as it tastes slightly burnt. So if I kill a coil with this blend, I'll live, haha.
Lemon juice, as in from a real lemon?
ReaLemon, so juice from lemon juice concentrate. I first did a recipe that I found online that was just the key lime and strawberry, but the strawberry wasn't popping and it wasn't sour enough for my liking, so i re did it with the dragonfruit, sour, and lemon
Peanut butter and banana recipe from u/graveorchid. Not sure if it's his own,but I like it. Still needs to steep, but just too lazy to let it sit that long.
I'm hooked on a mango menthol that I found while looking for menthol recipes for a friend.
https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/133622#simple_mango_menthol_by_photohap
Not sure if they're on Reddit, but I would definitely give this a try if you like mango and mint. It's very well balanced, and is shake n vape certified, great on day one.
Mango and mint make an amazing smoothie.
If you like that you should definitely mix this up. It's a great flavour combo.
This has made me want to add some mint to /u/id10-t's Mango Colada. Hmmmm...
Still have some Summer Drunk going, time to v2 that. Then I've got my chocolate/banana/PB/marzipan/tobacco experiment that's oddly addicting.
