Milk flavour to go with FA Black Tea?
submitted over 6 years ago by SaintBurt

I'm looking for a milk flavour to go with FA Black Tea. All the dairy I have is cream, and I can't bring myself to put cream in tea, even if it's not really cream. Are there any unsweetened milk flavourings? I find FA Black Tea a little sweet already.

The ones I saw recommended are TFA Dairy/Milk and FLV Milk. Are they any good? I also saw FA Milk, but neither of my usual vendors carry it. I guess I could order from the US if it's the best choice.

I'm looking for something with diacetyl.

All the recipes I found are pretty complicated, but I'm looking for the simplest possible black tea and milk.

Also, is there a better black tea flavour for black tea with milk than FA Black Tea? I've read good things about INW Black Sun Tea. I have TFA Earl Grey, but I wouldn't normally put milk in Earl Grey tea.

I highly recommend trying out the FLV Tea flavors they came out with last year. They created them for a commercial client in Japan from what they said. Well balanced and not overly herbal or dirty:

Black Tea, Red Tea, Green Tea, and Eisai Tea

For the milk/cream to add you could use both FLV Milk like you mentioned with a little FLV Cream

+10 The flavorah teas are the best I've tried.

FLV Milk is decent, even though I prefer the cream. I think either would be fine.

I haven't tried very many flavours from Flavorah. My regular vendor has all those flavours, but I somehow missed them when I was searching for teas. Thanks for the suggestion.

Damn, I wish I knew about this. I got TFA Sweet Tea, and FE Green Tea, which are seemingly regarded otherwise as decent versions. I find Sweet Tea can give off aloe notes if not careful.

It’s an old thread, but do you have a percentage of FLV cream you’d recommend to go with black tea?

ooo milky undertone???

That's one way to describe black tea with milk :/

Edit: I just realized you meant One on One Milky Undertone and not the sound ooo. I'm dumb sometimes. That flavour sounds like exactly what I'm looking for. Thank you.

FA Milk is not available in the US thanks to the pussies/assholes/cretins known as FANA, IIRC. Chef's may have it. Possibly under 'flavor creative'.

But really, the only thing to add to tea is a spot of lemon. Possibly a touch of honey. And of course vodka.

Yep I found it there. Thank you.

I use TFA Bavarian cream and TFA sweet cream together to balance the astringent nature of the tea base. I feel it does a really good job of rounding it out, though I do also pair mine with fruits most often.

Hmm, I do have both of those. It would make sense to try them first before ordering more flavours. What percentages do you use them at?

3% FA black tea 2.7% bavarian cream 1.85% sweet cream is a safe starting point. It will be okay shake and vape and get progressively better over a week or so. I usually use that as a base and add fruit. Blueberry and peach are my normal go-to options but cherry has been fine as well.

Thank you. I prefer FA Black Tea after it's had a steep, so that's not a problem. I'll probably mix up a medium sized batch, let it steep, then add fruits when I'm going to vape it.

I always put FA (also ecigexpress Signature brand) vanilla swirl into fruit if I want to make it taste like an ice cream smoothie. I'd imagine with tea, it might be similar. For me TFA Dairy tastes more like condensed milk with a cooked milk flavor.

You're making me regret the 30 ml of TFA Dairy I just ordered :)

Just a question, feel free to message me or ignore me, either way I understand, but are you perhaps in europe?

I'm Canadian. We have some good local vendors, but they don't have as wide a selection as the popular American vendors. This is the first time I've had to look outside the US for a flavour (FA Milk).

Ooo milk tea is pretty good. It won't be complete, you might want to add to the milk part but it's a good starting point.

This sounds like exactly what I was looking for. I have a bunch of creams if I need to bump up the milk fat. Thank you.
