This thread is for you to share what you are vaping lately, be it your own or another mixers recipe. Maybe you happened to stumble upon your new ADV in the January Recipes Thread? Or did someone recommend your first mix to you in the Suggest a recipe for my flavors Thread
Share what you liked or didn't like too much, but most importantly, please make sure to properly link to the recipe and to the mixer if they're on reddit.
If you need some inspiration, some websites keep track of your mixes and batches: e-Liquid Recipes and All The Flavors.
Also make sure to checkout last week's thread for inspiration or to follow up on a mix that turned out even better after a week of steeping!
Happy Vaping!
Earlier this week I tried the latest version of my attempt to update ExclusiveGirl's Green Tea Kit Kat recipe for 2019. Not that there was anything wrong with that recipe from more than two years ago, but we have better ingredients for it now, especially FLV Eisai Tea. Since then I've been mostly vaping Southerner and Cardinal.
I'm hate-vaping a single-flavor sample of TFA Root Beer at the moment. It's so awful, ya'll. But, I have a great week of vaping to look forward to, I think, as I have all of these awesome-looking recipes mixed up and ready to try:
Ginger Beer by /u/hocuskrokus
Fitz's by /u/mrburgundy314
How Now Brown Cow with 4.7% LB Ice Cream subbed for the 3.5% TFA VBIC
WTF by /u/ChrisDVR1
I'm basically planning to turn myself into a experiment to see if it's possible to get drunk on FLV Root Beer.
Hey man, i recently asked her about FE Green Tea substitution as it's impossible to source in EU, any results so far with your experiments? Thanks !
Oh yeah, definitely. There’s still work to do on balancing them but I’m almost 100% sure of these ingredients: FLV Eisai Tea, FLV White Chocolate, FW White Chocolate, CAP Vanilla Whipped Cream, WF Crispy Wafer, and FW Sweetener.
Actually i spoke too soon i just found a list of rebranded vendors from this very subreddit and FE is available under "Xpress Flavour" name at Chefs Flavours with both FE Green Tea and FE Lemon in EU... so it's not that hard after all from there.
Got 3 different TFA rootbeers when starting out in 2015/6 and they all sucked. Mostly overpowering licorice/anise.
They do sell sassafras flavor, which is the original RB core, but never tried it. (was removed from real RB due to it's alkaloids that are used to make MDMA)
Rasta was the vendor that I heard stellar things about, but that concentrate was crazy expensive. Moreso for $CAN and shipping ><
Vaping on my own personal breakfast cereal blend, my buddy says it reminds him of "The Milk" by Teleos. It is as follows:
-
8% TFA Berry Crunch
-
7% TFA Fruit Circles and Milk
-
3% TFA Dairy/Milk
-
2% TFA French Vanilla Creme
It is absolutely delicious and hard to get away from, lots of fruity cereal on the inhale and smooth milk/custard notes on the exhale. Mixed up a 450ml bottle at 1% nic, not anywhere near tired of it yet!
Is this thread limited to from scratch recipes or can one shots be posted here as well? I'm new to posting on this sub and just wanted to see
You can post literally whatever you're vaping this week--could be single flavor tests, could be 1-shots, could be your own recipe, could be someone else's recipe. Like, I'm always vaping INW Mix Mint (shocker), and right now I'm also vaping a tester of INW Pink Panther (yum--strawberry/rhubarb/some other berry I forget...tastes like raspberry but that's not officially it) and some Water Colors by ckemist, and gonna make a new Limoncello Torrone which if I remember correctly is a Headinclouds recipe.. and hopefully if I get around to it today I'll make a INW Rhubarb tester, a INW Purple Rain tester, and a INW Nutty Princess tester. Last night I went through my inventory and holy crap, I have so much I haven't tried yet, and 2 flavor orders en route--I think I just put myself on a no-buy for at least a month or two.
The last berry in Pink Panther is red currant. That stuff is so delicious. Just be careful with it when mixing. It really loves to bully anything else in the same bottle.
Been vaping this tasty mix by Fresh03 pretty much non stop since I mixed it 2 days ago. I just love yogurt drink! (Oh and I added 1.5% Cap Sweet Cream to it for a little extra creaminess)
What's VSO? I'm missing that particular blueberry.
I'm currently addicted to Longing by u/ID10-T. It's a very elegant, subtle and delicious dessert that everyone should try, even those who are weary of florals.
I've been loving this Boss Reserve remix. I never tried the original Boss Reserve, but I was looking for Acetyl Pyrazine recipes and this has been my favorite.
I didn't have FLV Milk & Honey so I subbed it with 1% Dulce de Leche (TPA), and 1% Bavarian Cream (TPA). It gives a slight chocolate banana flavor. Good stuff!
You really should get the Milk & Honey. It's a great flavor to have. I vape this recipe all the time too. I've been contemplating adding peanutbutter to it for a while.
Milk and Honey just arrived a couple of days ago and I've got 50ml of this original recipe steeping right now :) My recent shipment also included some peanut butter that I haven't tried yet. That's for the "Goofy's Juice" that I've been using a modified version of. I'm looking forward to making the original recipe.
cabin by u/Alfred pudding. I regret not mixing this up in fall while I was mucking about with hs apple mix. The tobacco got nearly dissolved into something else entirely. Very neat.
Also, sft a few stixx mixx I picked up on sale from nic river: American Virginian, Turkish oriental, black cavendish. I’m happy with the AV. Different tasting. Much fuller in general but at 4-8 suggested percent I can’t see this being long lasting.
I'm vaping a bastardization of Forest Milk, my first mix. Tart fruit on the inhale, pure sweet on the exhale.
6% FA Forest Fruit
4% FA Cream Fresh
2% CAP Super Sweet
I made a Cotton Candy for my SO. He loves it, it's a subtle cotton candy inhale with a twinge of Dubble Bubble flavor and texture and a deep, vanilla cotton candy exhale. I'd like to tweak it to lighten it up a bit.
10% FW Cotton Candy
4% Marshmallow
2% Vanilla Swirl
How are your coils holding up with 2% CAP Super Sweet?
If you'd like to lighten up the cotton candy, I'd maybe consider switching the Marshmallow (I'm assuming TFA?) Or mixing it at say 1%
Thanks for the feedback! I went through a 60ml on a single coil (a week, week and a half maybe?), so I thought that was pretty impressive. But I'm also a total newbie and that was my first mix. The cotton candy being my second. I'll definitely try lowering/omitting (yes, TFA) Marshmallow. I nabbed some FLV Cotton Candy and am excited to try that.
