As always, the purpose of this thread is to gather the community to explore a category of flavor and its many uses. And it's also to have FUN!
Post recipes containing this week's Flavor of the Week, as the star or in a supporting role, with or without development notes. Talk about other people's recipes that use it. Compare and contrast different manufacturers' versions of the FOTW. Ask for help using that flavor in general or to achieve something specific, offer advice, brainstorm ideas, consider substitutions, suggest pairings... really anything at all as long as it's on topic.
#This week's flavor is...2019!!!
So this one's completely different than any FOTW we've done before. What do you think the new year holds for DIY eJuice? Can you predict a trend in mixing? What will be the hottest flavors to use? Will a type of flavor or recipe be the new thing, or will an old flavor that you don't see used often anymore make a huge comeback? Do you have any DIY-related resolutions you want to tell us about?
How did that get to be the FOTW?
Usually it's requested, but this time I'm just having a little holiday fun.
If you're not interested in the upcoming FOTWs, please take this opportunity and comment to request one that interests you (or send me a PM to do that).
Past FOTW posts can be found here
The NOTED podcasts, which are bascially video FOTWs, are listed on this sheet, maintained by /u/apexified

Can we have a enhancing flavors week (not like vape wizard but like adding lemon to bluberries)(or possibly call it a mixer's tricks week)
And maybe an unusual pairings week where we post about combinations that sounds odd but work very well together
Trying to go outside of the box that could cover some unique approaches and recipes.
I'd also like to suggest changing boysenberry to uncommon berries.
I’m predicting that I’ll probably mix a few tobaccos in 2019.
Did you consult a crystal ball or some tarot cards to help come up with this? Or maybe it’s just a wild guess?
NET revival
There is one flavour that haven't been FOTW before and I'm not sure if it ever will.
I don't see t often in many mixes but I'll be damned if I don't love it.
It's popcorn.
A little background info:
I lived in Germany for a few years and I got to explore some of the vape shops both locally and online.
Here I stumbled upon one juice that I have not since tasted or seen anything close to.
It was named "White cinema snack" - so creative!
Back then I did not mix and I had one rule - never buy the same juice twice in a row. Well "White cinema snack" made me break that rule, as I purchased it month after month after month... you get the picture.
When I started mixing, my plan was to try and clone this juice, but I barely know where to start.
From what I have gathered so far, it contains popcorn (duh!), white chocolate and pecan nuts. But that's all the leads I got.
The original has the buttery taste of popcorn, with a smooth sweetness from both the white chocolate and a little fattyness from the pecan.
So I hope popcorn will rise to the scene in 2019, so we can start seeing more mixes with that flavour and see what people can come up with.
I thought we might touch on popcorn during the savory week but there are enough of them that it could have its own week, want me to add that to the list?
I predict some WF Bumbleberry recipes.
I predict a whole slew of WF Starfruit recipes.
