Christmas Eve present: Nice Lilt!

Whilst experimenting, I accidentally managed to come up with a pretty convincing Lilt analogue...

To those of you not from the UK, Lilt was a delicious, fizzy pineapple and grapefruit drink made by the coca cola company:

I haven't had any for a long time and thought it was discontinued, but apparently you can still buy it (for that 'totally tropical taste').

I added FA cold pressed lime and TPA champagne rather than FW lemonade so that it was light and the refreshing sharpness of the drink would come through.

Then I added the key ingredients (pineapple and grapefruit), gave it a mix and was very pleasantly surprised by just how much it tasted like the real thing...

4.0% (CAP) Golden Pineapple 3.0% (INW) Grapefruit 1.0% (FA) Cold Pressed Lime 1.0% (TPA) Champagne 1.0% (TPA) Sour 0.5% (TPA) Koolada 0.3% (CAP) Super Sweet

This is good to go as S&V, but give it a week and it should settle into something magical!

I don't know if they have this in Europe but it was one of the best things I have ever tasted Guaraná Antarctica it had the lightest and crispest taste with a almost cherry hint to it if any eliquid could capture it's flavor it would be the only thing I ever Vaped please make a clone of it

Would love to have a go, but without knowing what it tastes like it is hard to be certain if what I am making turns out right.

Having done a bit of research, apparently some of the Red Bull flavoured liquids/concentrates might be quite similar...

As a U.k brother who has mad love for lilt, what’s it like to vape? I love the drink but I’m sceptical, I recently made up some twister (like the ice lollies) it’s a perfect clone but man it’s horrible. Also can we expect an accidental Rio too? Haha

I was honestly surprised by just how much it tasted like the drink, and it is a really nice vape (if I say so myself).

Not sure why I am craving soda vapes this Christmas!

Definitely with citric acid but TPA Sour's malic acid, I think. Citric acid gives a nice little boost initially to fruit but after only a day or two the taste gets very 'meh' in my limited experience.

I bet it tastes like our Squirt with pineapple. Sounds good. I don't have any champagne. I suppose I could try it without until I get some. I love Inawera Grapefruit. Thanks for the recipe. I had no idea about this beverage.
