As always, the purpose of this thread is to gather the community to explore a category of flavor and its many uses. And it's also to have FUN!
Post recipes containing this week's Flavor of the Week, as the star or in a supporting role, with or without development notes. Talk about other people's recipes that use it. Compare and contrast different manufacturers' versions of the FOTW. Ask for help using that flavor in general or to achieve something specific, offer advice, brainstorm ideas, consider substitutions, suggest pairings... really anything at all as long as it's on topic.
#This week's flavor is...Christmas!!!
So this one's a more abstract than usual but that's what makes it fun. Just answer the question: What does Christmas taste like to you?
How did that get to be the FOTW?
Usually it's requested, but this time I'm just having a little holiday fun.
If you're not interested in the upcoming FOTWs, please take this opportunity and comment to request one that interests you (or send me a PM to do that).
Past FOTW posts can be found here
The NOTED podcasts, which are bascially video FOTWs, are listed on this sheet, maintained by /u/apexified

Besides Humbug, which I made specifically for Christmas, The Duke is my usual Christmas go to. Something about it is just so appealing around this time of year. Could be that I used to buy it on Black Friday and let it sit until around this time. Just put some in the tank today, actually.
Also just got my Baker Flavors tobaccos yesterday and ran through them real quick. The Tabakum tasted sort of like a warm pine. It was odd, but not bad. Reminded me of a Christmas tree. Kind of hope the pine steeps out, or at least calms down, but if you mix it at 1.5% and try it right away, that’s what Christmas tastes like to me.
Does anyone sell a 'turkey' flavour concentrate?
Not that I know of, but FA makes a Roasted Chicken flavor and I bet /u/ChemicalBurnVictim can recommend a light and very dry bacco, a touch of which could sort of bend it in a turkey direction. Also FA Zen Garden probably is your friend here.
Honestly, I’d probably go NET (naturally extracted turkey)
PSA: He’s joking don’t do this.
Maybe we should just stick to vapes that pair well with Turkey. I’d mix some more of my 1-2-3 Cranberry Sprite recipe if we were doing the turkey thing but this year I’m having Christmas tacos y burritos. ¡Feliz Navidad!
I recently got Liquid Barn Cranberry Cobbler so I was looking up actual Christmas desserts that I could use that flavor for. This looked pretty good so I decided to make something similar.
Cran-Apple Christmas Cobbler
Co. | Flavor | % :--------|:--------:|---------: Flv | Apple Filling | .75 Cap | Sugar Cookie | 2 Pur | Country Apple | 3 Fw | Cranberry | 1 LB | Cranberry Cobbler | 5 Flv | Eggnog | 1.5 Fa | Joy | .5 Flv | Vanilla Pudding | 1
Pretty tasty off the shake but this will definitely need at least 3-4 days to come together. Interested to see how it turns out!
Why are you doing egg nog in April? It's generally only available around the holidays, everyone will have forgotten the taste by April.
Someone requested it and first come first served is the only fair way to do this so I just added it to the list.
Thanks for reminding me to consume extra eggnog this week! (For scientific purposes of course, to really sear that taste into the ol meat computer)
Did you know they make eggnog ice cream? Well I didnt until I found it at the store the other day and it's pretty dang tasty!
Yes! There’s an ice cream restaurant chain place here called Braum’s and Egg Nog is one of their seasonal offerings and my personal favorite. October-November isn’t complete without their pumpkin pie ice cream and ditto for December and Egg Nog.
Better idea - buy bottle of Evan Williams eggnog and a couple gallons of simple chocolate ice cream. Scoop ice cream into blender, pour in some eggnog, make a shake. Soooooooooooooooooo good. (And historically accurate, as milkshakes were originally adult beverage only.)
Pomberry Trinkets (by Jason on VU)
it's like vaping Christmas
4% TFA Cinnamon Red Hots
4% TFA Cranberry
4% TFA Pomegranate
Can swap TFA Cranberry for 2.5% FA Cranberry
INW Shisha Punch is just the most Christmassy thing going.
To me, it's a predominantly-clove spice mix with a good dose of citrus zest. Here's a good review (concreteriver, I appreciate the work he's put into reviews, so much):

It reminds me so much of making orange clove pomanders when I was little (I actually hated that job because cloves are hard to shove into fruits, and hurt your fingers--but that was my holiday assignment and the results are nice)

If you want to vape this straight, keep that percentage low as hell, like under 1 percent. You can absolutely also use this as a seasoning to add Christmas flavor to cream/vanilla cream/blank background/plainish things. I haven't tried adding other fruits to it and I don't know how well it would go, but if I did I would try some low sweet ones like fig.
It certainly is a Christmassy thing and it certainly is a great review. The review mostly matches my experience with the stuff, though I would have emphasized the amount of orange zest in there just a little more.
