Trying to Make Candy Mountain Ice. Is there a difference between using Citrus Mix and Orange?
submitted almost 7 years ago by LeiMoanJello

Just wondering, I looked on Breazy and it states it’s straight orange flavoring but is there really a noticeable difference between Citrus Mix and Orange really?

Well orange isn't the only citrus....

The only 'citrus mix' I'm aware of/have tried is from FA and it's main forward flavor is grapefruit. The various oranges I've tried run the gamut from 'orange peel' to 'orange tang', but never taste like grapefruit. So short answer... yes, there is a difference.

> Candy Mountain Ice whirls together bold cherry, exotic pineapple, zesty orange, juicy watermelon and vivacious raspberry flavored gummy candies along with a large dose of menthol

That flavor's got a lot going on apparently. Five fruits plus gummy/menthol. When I see stuff like this my mind gets an exercise. I imagine which flavors I'd use. Even though I probably will never make it.

Citrus mix could even be as basic as citrus punch(tfa) or lemon/lime cap.

As for orange you got a lot of good oranges, even with the new "orange juice" concentrates out like wf.
