Introduction

Hello everyone, and welcome to my template for sharing your wonderful creation on this subreddit. It is important to remember that everything included here is completely optional, and I am only writing it to provide some inspiration. For the first part of a recipe write-up, I usually enjoy leading with a section like the one you’re reading right now. It is a great place to address your audience (people that will be mixing it up), to set the tone for your overview, to explain your inspiration for chasing a profile, and/or to create a narrative. I find it very beneficial to imagine I’m writing for a friend, it helps me remember that it’s not a professional environment, I don’t need to convey that I’m some mixing prodigy, and I’m simply having a conversation with people that are here for the same reason.

Recipe

This is where I like to put my recipe. I choose to put it here so someone that isn’t interested in my ramblings will be able to find the raw data quickly. I insert a link to the recipe on another website in the introduction or the header for this section, and then create a bulleted list:

  • Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (TPA) @ 6%
  • Golden Syrup (VT) @ 3%

Or a table:

|Flavor|Percentage| |:-|:-| |(TPA) Vanilla Bean Ice Cream|6%| |(VT) Golden Syrup|3%|

Description

This is where you can paint a picture of the experience. Describe what you get from the vape, and there is no wrong answer. For the hypothetical recipe I’ve created, you could create a simple description:

On the inhale I get caramel and vanilla top notes, and on the exhale, I get rich and buttery ice cream base.

Or a more complex one:

On the inhale, I immediately find my mouth enveloped with a thick and caramel infused vanilla. It reminds me of the first bite of a caramel sundae from my favorite ice cream shop. The syrup is on the border of a full-on hard candy and creamed butter with sugar mixed in. It sits, undisturbed, on top of a fresh spoonful of your favorite vanilla ice cream. The vanilla is not dark or spicy, it’s a warm and inviting commercial style vanilla. After this wonderful pairing of top notes subsides, the sweet and buttery cream base starts to show its colors. It is not an aggressive or cheesy dairy in any way, and let’s be honest, you can’t have too much butter.

I picked this hypothetical recipe because some people find that TPA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream tastes like pure, unadulterated black pepper. Just because that person will have a completely different experience, doesn’t mean your description was incorrect at all.

Notes

After writing the introduction, displaying your recipe, and creating a description, you can put other development notes here. This is where I usually break down the process that I went through to achieve my final goal. This part can be as brief or expansive as you would like it to be, but it is arguably the most important part of the post. You can talk about all the ideas you had that didn’t work out, individual flavor notes, how the flavors work in the recipe, adjustments you needed to make to percentages, or anything else you would like the reader to know.

Directions unclear: sweetener stuck at 20% in 145% PG. Sub-ohm @.99, 4.2V and tastes like chemicals.

Seriously though, made posting my first recipe easier. Thank you Mr. Pudding!

Try countering the sweetener with 47% FLV Heat and 536% RF Baked Bread. I’m very happy that my guide helped you share your awesome recipe!

Wow. That's an epic layout for a Recipe Descript.

I understand you've completed a recipe with WonderFlavors Molasses and another trusted user here Apexified has said I should look for it. I did, not sure where to look elsewhere. What are your thoughts on this flavoring and the range of use for standalone or mixed intricately into other pairings?.

Thanks if advance if you answer. The flavor 2oz, was a gift from Nic River. I'm trying to find answers for use as shake and Vape and mixed along the way while it sits.
