I can’t be sure, but man, the mix I just made smells pretty dang close and off the shake tastes pretty similar to one of my favorites from Freeman Juice Co: Trailblazer. It’s described as a peanut butter, butterscotch, tobacco. I’m sure there’s got to be more to it than this, but so far I’ve mixed the following: TFA Peanut Butter 4.5% FW Butterscotch Ripple 3% TFA RY4 Double 3% Did you guys ever feel, especially just starting out, like maybe the power of suggestion is really influencing your experience? I’m sure this profile will change over time, and maybe this isn’t even in the same ball park as to what Paul and his team are using, but, I dig it. Maybe I’ll bring the RY4 up to the median mixing % of 4.5 according to ELR next time. Thoughts, opinions, remarks and rebuke are welcome. I just want to improve and be as good at this as I can be. This forum is daily reading for me and I value all the helpful input from everyone.
Well, both Butterscotch Ripple and RY4 Double are steepers. I'm surprised you can't taste the weirdness of unsteeped Ripple now.
Yeah, I figure over the next few days and weeks it will change and be a different beast altogether. I’m hoping to develop even a fraction of the type of palate you and so many others I see on here have. Thanks for commenting on a humble, ignorant-but excited-dude’s post!
Sounds good, I liked Freeman's juice. I tried to make a Trailblazer clone a couple months ago but It didn't turn out great. Even after 3 months I still don't like it
I’d be super interested in your recipe. The coolest thing about this for me is seeing the directions people head in when attempting mixes. Would you care to share?
Yeah I just need to find my recipe book. I always write down everything I try so Incase if I like something I can remember how to make it.
Edit: 3% (FLV?) peanut butter, 4% TFA RY4 Double, 2% TFA butterscotch, 2% FW Hazelnut
