Ordered three days ago received no updates on the order. I sent an email with no response then I finally called and was told it would be a week before my items were shipped. The person on the phone was very short and not very helpful.
I've ordered from them before but I'm very shocked with my service this time and I really hope this is a one time situation.
Is anyone else having issues with them?
EDIT: (11-9) I have received my order and to clarify why I had an issue was I have ordered several times and had zero issues with NR there products have always been A+ and shipping has always been on time and prompt.
When I called in the employee I talked with just gave the vibe like I don't give a fuck. She could of just said to me I'll look into it and I'm sorry and that would of been enough.
I'll order from NR again I just hope someone from the company fixes the problem.
How could you determine the height of the person you talked to?
Their customer service is less than pleasant.
I had the exact opposite experience with their customer service. I one time ordered a gallon of VG and the seal was busted before I broke it.
I emailed them, not even asking for a replacement but just to let them know there could possibly be a batch issue. Without any question they sent me a whole new gallon even after I said they didn’t need too.
Why would you ever not expect what you paid for?
As is their nicotine.
What's wrong with their nicotine? Was looking to go through them for 1st DIY. Who do u recommend?
Many people have never had an issue with NicRiver and I didn't have a problem the first time I ordered nicotine from them. However the second time, I ordered two bottles and both of them were a dark yellow/brown color and smelled heavily of burnt rubber. I did sample the nicotine from those bottles and it was very harsh and the burnt rubber taste was present in the vape.
I did contact them about the issue and was told the nicotine is perfectly safe to use if I wanted but they would send out replacements. A week later, I got the replacements and they both had the same burnt rubber taste, even more so than the original bottles. I contacted them again to let them know about the issue but turned down another replacement.
I was told the issue lies with their long shipping/transit times where the nicotine is subject to heat during shipping. That would explain the color but not the burnt rubber taste. The person I talked to at NicRiver agreed they didn't have the best quality control or shipping processes in place for nicotine but because they offer a budget solution it was more cost effective for them to just replace bad bottles instead of doing a little more to ensure they don't send out so much bad product. I won't be ordering any more from them because the headache isn't worth the little bit of money I save. Especially when I'm only buying nicotine once or twice a year.
I personally order from Carolina Xtracts now. It is considerably more expensive than NicRiver but I have never had an issue and even with a 6 month old bottle of nicotine it is still perfectly clear and tasteless. I'd also note that the Carolina Xtracts took longer to ship to me than NicRiver so it was subject to the same heat combined with long transit times but there were no issues there.
In the end everything about Carolina Xtracts was better than NicRiver from product to packaging. I'd rather spend a little more and know I'm getting good product. Some people recommend VapersTek as very high quality but not quite as expensive. I haven't tried them yet but others seen to really like them.
They just moved their entire operation into a new massive facility. Give em' some slack, i'm sure they're just behind on orders & playing catch up.
This. Nicriver is great but they moved house less than a month ago. For an entire week they couldn't stage or ship any orders, and they also ran a sale during that week. I would not be surprised if they're still catching up. Don't expect this to be typical
I mentioned their move last week in a FB group and someone said they have said that before. How many times does a company need to pack up their whole operation?
They also had the decency to send emails to existing customers about the move and said how it will affect new orders and shipping. Pretty sure it was on their website too.
I don't have any experience with their CS though because I always get my order within a few days.
What’s a better place to buy flavors?
I ordered last Wednesday and just got a shipping notification today. Took a few days to answer my email but I'm ok with it because of the move. Had I known I would have ordered elsewhere because I needed this stuff this week. Oh well.
I ordered about $70 worth of nic salts, equipment, flavors, and VG. I called to see when the order would ship and was told that they had moved and it may take a week to process the order. I told the woman I spoke with that I would have to go without nicotine for a bit and that I was a new customer and she told me she would see what she could do.
The order was shipped within a few hours of my call. If the product is good I will use them exclusively.
I ordered last Wednesday. I saw on their main page that they were moving and would be back up and running Friday. I waited till Tuesday then called them. Took two phone calls but they shipped it that night.
My thing is if they are moving and need a week to do it, why keep taking orders? For a first time diy like myself, I don't want to have to wait a week before it being shipped.
Why would they need to stop taking orders? Not everyone is that impatient or needs things ASAP. They made it very clear they were moving and that it would impact their business. If you didn't want to wait you shouldn't have ordered something when there is a possibility of delays.
Next time go with bullcity if you want your items quick fast. They get your order out within a day or 2 every time and on the rare chance there is a issue they will 100% do you right and make sure your happily taken care of. Just my experience with them obviously but anytime anyone asks for a recommendation I always send them to bullcity.

Durring holliday sales NicRiver takes a massive amounts of orders. They are always backed up. People have been complaining how slow they are for a long time. Atleast now you know. If you want your stuff in a few days, Bullcity is the way to go.
