new to REDDIT and new to vaping, could I please get some advice about using isolates to make my own NIC free e juice . I have used cbd for 10 weeks now and very happy with the results but not so much with the prices. I must become a DIY vaper, any and all information is greatly appreciated.

It's easy, CBD isolate dissolves well in PG with a little bit of a hot water bath but not at all well in VG so you need a minimum ratio of 60% PG to 40% VG to keep it from recrystallising. I use 100mg per 10ml and vape in an RDA at about 0.4ohms. CBD concentration will need to be altered to your own taste and ohms you like to vape at.
I've been doing this for a few years, and if I do a 50/50 ratio or even 70/30 VG to PG it's fine. If it recrystalizes, just nuke it for 10 seconds and shake. I also find when adding the CBD nuking just the PG before adding for about 10-15 works great.
So, u put your cbd oil right in w your juice basically? I’ve looked on YT and it seemed more complicated to me but if it’s not that would be sooo good! Also if you could say but not link where you buy your cbd? I’m always afraid I’m going to get hemp and there’s way to know if your place is doing it correctly and it’s pure because as I’m sure you know, soo much fraud online 😂😩... one thousand thanks! ....;)
Nonono, CBD isolate is a white powder and what you must use with ejuice, CBD oil is not for vaping. Also, CBD is the same whether it's from hemp or cannabis, it's literally the same plant just without THC and specific strain terpenes. I'm in the UK so hemp CBD is what I have access to and it's fine. I presume you're in the US so I can't be very helpful on good places to buy, sorry! Personally I buy oil tincture from Holland from Dutch Natural Healing (by far the best cost per mg I've found, and seems to be quite rich in terpenes as it has a tangerine-like aftertaste) and isolate from UK's CBDLife.
Very cool. Am I right to assume that it’s as simple as: 1 - dissolve 100mg isolate into PG, 2 - mix with VG to get. 60/40 mixture, 3 - shake and vape?
Don't even have to mix it in straight PG first. What I do is mix up bottle of eliquid, then add the isolate. That way if I've mixed up a new recipe or something I can test it to make sure it's good before wasting CBD. After you've added the isolate, pop the bottle in a cupful of boiling water for a minute or so to speed up the dissolving or just leave it for a day.

I recommend a 65/35 PG/VG ratio, I’ve also found that I get best results with no more than 1 gram CBD per 30ml.
We don't do that too much here. This is more about regular juice. But there are some people who have done it. You'll need to use the search.
