What are your favourite 3-5 ingredient fruit, drink or candy mixes?
submitted almost 7 years ago by KreativniNeredA1355

I want to order my first batch of aromas and i was looking for good mixes that aren't to sweet and are not bakery mixes. Basically fruits, drink like fanta and Sprite or candy like bubble gum. I was planning on ordering like 10 aromas and was looking to get enough to mix lots of different Vapes.

I made a shopping list for you. These will give you a massive number of good mix possibilities. I'll pm you a couple solid and easy recipes for them too if ya want. Just need to choose a sweetener.

Capella sweet guava

Capella Double Apple

Capella Golden Pineapple

Capella Bubblegum

Inawera Shisha Strawberry

Inawera Cactus

Flavourart Red Summer (watermelon)

Flavourart Pear

Flavourart Fuji Apple

Flavourart Melon Canteloupe

Flavor West Plum

Flavor West Honeydew

Optional, cause they're harder to work with or more expensive, but highly recommended to go with this list:

Real Flavors Coconut SC

Real Flavors Blueberry SC

Real Flavors Cucumber SC

Real Flavors Apple SC

Flavorah Sweet Coconut

Flavorah Jackfruit- I fucking LOVE this concentrate as an additive. It works to make things juicy in recipes where FA Pear doesn't work. Also just tastes delicious as a main fruit.

Sure send me some recipes to go with those aromas. Looks good. Maybe not pineapple. I think I won't like it. Send some good mixes with koolada and polar bear. I like it cold.

Don't hold back on those recipes. I would love to enjoy some of these. I have been vaping the same juice for more than 2 years and need to switch or try more. Just get overwhelmed.

What I'm vaping right now:

-Jack 'em-

CAP Double Apple 2%

FA Fuji 1%

FLV Jackfruit 2.25%

CAP Bubblegum 5%

Your choice of sweetener, I use sugar daddy for this one at 0.75% and also 1.7% WS-23 (10% solution) for cooling

-Guam-

CAP Sweet Guava 3%

TFA Dragonfruit 2%

FW Plum 3.5%

INW Cactus 1.2%

Sweetener/cooling to taste

-Jackie & the Bear-

FA Red Summer 2.75%

FA Pear 2.5%

FLV Jackfruit 2%.

Sweetener/cooling

If there's a specific fruit from that list you want a recipe of, just ask

Edited for formatting which I suck at

What good mango recipe you have?

Have you had TFA's Jackfruit and compare it to FLV's?

1 points

by captainmalexusalmost 7 years ago

Honestly nope. I don't use a lot of TFA in general and went straight for the FLV.

I had heard it's the more authentic option, whereas TFA is more candy-like. Being someone who prefers realistic fruit over candy types, I went for that first. Loved it enough not to bother trying to TFA at all.

It's my understanding that the funky ripe note jackfruit has, isn't as prominent with the TFA, which is I suppose might make it more versatile in some situations.

You're making me want to order a small bottle to mess around with now.. Lol

by herminzerahalmost 7 years agoDiketones, Schmiketones

I see, it's definitely a funky tropical sort of flavor, I haven't used it solo so I can't say for sure how I feel about it but it works well to help fill out any sort of mixed tropical type juice, at least in my experience.

Prickly Victory! 4% CAP Sweet Guava and 1% INW Cactus. It's good just like that but I also sometimes add 0.2% CAP Super Sweet and/or 0.1% WS-23 to change things up a little.

LA Lemonade
INW Lemon Mix
FA Polar Blast
WS-23
(with those four, you have a good lemonade blend. add any of the following: )

INW Grapes
FLV Boysenberry
INW Shisha Raspberry
FA Blackcurrant
FA Lime Tahity
CAP Sweet Tangerine
FLV Cranberry
FLV Blackberry Blossom
TFA Cherry Blossom
TFA Cherry Extract
INW Cherries
FLV Pink Guava

by Sad-Panda-Dancingalmost 7 years ago

At what percentage are these? I've ordered them and going try it out.

1 points

by juthincalmost 7 years agoमैंगो कस्टर्ड

5% LA Lemonade
.5% INW Lemon Mix (.25% if you don't like the bitterness)
FA Polar Blast/WS-23 to taste (start with .5% each and adjust in later mixes, note that you can build tolerances to cooling if you only vape cooled flavors)

Now, for the optional add-ins: INW Grapes 3% is pretty good. Purple Lemonade is nice.

FLV Boysenberry, I'd start at .5% and adjust on preference.

Actually, probably your best bett for the extra flavors is just go to ATF, search the flavor in question, and choose the lower peak on the use distribution graph.

Thanks, how long do you usually steep these? I am getting my first batch along with shisha raspberry.

I've been liking this one I call fizzy grape.

TFA Grape Juice 3.5%

FLV Grape 1.75%

FLV Blueberry 0.75%

VT Fizzy Sherbet 2%

1 points

by bigtidderalmost 7 years ago

Oooh this looks good. I'm going to mix this but with FLV Boysenberry since I don't have FLV Blueberry.

1 points

by xGRANITExalmost 7 years agoSilky

I bet that would be great!

I used flv blueberry because it has some grape notes, but flv boysenberry is stellar as well.

Normally I’d say follow a recipe but with fruits and drinks (which is all that I’ve explored lately) it is really easy to experiment with. The key is knowing what to get. I’d pick up a range of fruits some bases and a couple of well chosen additives. If you’re ok with going slow, then pick some fruit profiles and get all the recommended flavors for those profiles. Example: Apple - fa Fuji is solid. But if you really love apple, then there’s cap double apple, jf Fuji, hs apple mix, flv apple mix, etc etc. you could easily pick up 20 apples and explore. Or you could watch the noted episode on apples and just pick the ones that sound interesting or closer to your desired candy profile (I watched noted when I wanted to try a few different apples). Even if you wanted to keep it to two flavors — say apples and strawberries — you might have a dozen between them with very little to add to them. This is where recipes some in handy, to avoid all that nonsense.

However, I suggest a different approach: choose a drink base or three that will provide you with some fizz and depth and then some flavors that will add combinations to that. If you pick up a lemonade, some fizz, and maybe an alcohol with five or six well chosen flavors and two additives you could easily have: straight fruits, fruity lemonades, pop drinks, boozy nights. All with the potential to branch out in various ways depending on your tastes and moods by the time of your next order.

I suggest based solely on my own preferences the following:

Drinks:

Vt fizzy sherbet

La lemonade

Vt blood orange champagne (or tfa champagne)

Fa gin

Consider: cap lemon lime, Fa vanilla bourbon/tfa bourbon, Fa black tea, flv Yakima hops

Fruits:

Fa Fuji or jf Fuji

Flv pink guava and/or cap sweet guava

Flv wild melon and/or Fa watermelon

Jf strawberry and/or tfa sb (ripe) /cap sb sweet

consider: sweet tangerine, lime Tahiti, Shisha strawberry, lemon Sicily, blueberry trinity (search for it), Forrest fruit, mango, pear

Additives:

Ws-23 and/or polar blast

Liquid Amber

Menthol

Dragonfruit and/or cactus and/or pear

Sweetener

Consider: Marshmallow/meringue/toasted marshamallow/vanilla swirl/ cream fresh for mouthfeel

cap vanilla custard v1, tfa vanilla bean ice cream for a taste of dessert

Cap sugar cookie, biscuit, graham cracker clear for a first go at bakeries.

Hope that helps.

recipe (since that's what you asked for): i liked this one and this one

A simple recipe I like is:

House | Flavor | % --|--|-- FA | Marshmallow | 1.0% FW | Hard Candy | 1.5%

  • | <fruit/berry> | 3-5%

70%-MaxVG, steep 100ml for 30 days. Vaping any sooner than that is disappointing. FW Hard Candy tastes and smells like hairspray for a while until steeped. FW Blackberry (Natural) is my favorite but I've tried a bit of everything and it just seems to work.
