As always, the purpose of this thread is to gather the community to explore a category of flavor and its many uses. And it's also to have FUN!
Post recipes containing this week's Flavor of the Week, as the star or in a supporting role, with or without development notes. Talk about other people's recipes that use it. Compare and contrast different manufacturers' versions of the FOTW. Ask for help using that flavor in general or to achieve something specific, offer advice, brainstorm ideas, consider substitutions, suggest pairings... really anything at all as long as it's on topic.
#This week's flavor is... WHITE CHOCOLATE!!!
How did that get to be the FOTW?
It was requested. If you're not interested in this FOTW, please take this opportunity and comment to request one that interests you (or send me a PM to do that).
Past FOTW posts can be found here
The NOTED podcasts, which are bascially video FOTWs, are listed on this sheet, maintained by /u/apexified

No pun?! What the fucking fuck!!! What the hell do you think I even come to this sub for?
My whole team of writers could not come up with a single white chocolate pun. Hell, they couldn't even come up with a white chocolate joke that wasn't at least a little bit racist.

I made this:
Co. | Flavor | % ---|---|---- FLV | White Chocolate | 2 FLV | Marshmallow | 0.5 FLV | Whipped Cream | 0.5 FA | Marshmallow | 2 OoO| Powdered Sugar| 1.25 FW | White Chocolate | 2.5 FW | Birthday Cake | 1 FW | Sweetener | 1
It's Peepus Christ, crucified on a white chocolate cross. He died for your diabeetus.
I used a combination of FLV White Chocolate and FW White Chocolate to get plenty of creamy white chocolately flavor, something I learned from trying the delicious Crazberry Crack recipe by /u/jdrocker77
FA Marshmallow, FLV Marshmallow, and FLV Whipped Cream make up Peepus' body, which is broken for you. Take, vape, do this in remembrance of him. FLV Marshmallow and FLV Whipped Cream are so similar, you could really use one of them at 1% instead of both at 0.5%, but the result will either be a little more dry or a little more loose, depending.
Getting something resembling artificially colored granulated sugar coating was harder, but a combination of OoO Powdered Sugar, FW Sweetener, and a little FW Birthday Cake got me as close as felt I needed to go. Peepus will forgive me for it not being perfect as long as it's yummy.
This must be vaped... because the international cabal of dentists and dieticians has made the solid version illegal for trade and consumption. (The first non-sugar ingredient appears twenty-eighth on the ingredients list.)
TFA White chocolate tastes and smells like pepper. That’s all I have.
Uh... thought that was vbic? TFA White chocolate tastes like air. Specifically air from New Jersey that's had the toxins mostly removed, but is the same general consistency.
So far I am liking the LB White Chocolate Peppermint but I go flavor mute to chocolate really fast. Been mixing it with different VT coffees and FA Up and/or dark bean.
Can you compare it with any other WC? I'm having a problem mixing with it but I probably need to push it higher. That plus I was probably going in the wrong direction using flv creme de menthe as a primary.
I made different iterations using body notes of IC/Banana/pudding with glamour chocolate, FA peppermint and or natural mint thrown in some too but I don't think it plays well with FLV which is odd because you think it would. FW might be a better option. Although I wasn't a big fan of my STF either though and might need to combo with another WC if I remember correctly on noted as Cheeba is very familiar with the flavor.
I am brand new to DIY. I just made my first batch last week. I was too excited to let it steep forever, so I’m already into them after only 5 days of steeping. I’m quite pleased with my white chocolate raspberry latte flavor (it’s my favorite frufru coffee drink on the rare occasions I splurge.
My flavor profile was:
2% TFA Coffee
2% FA Espresso
3% FR Milk
4% RF White Chocolate
4% FR Raspberry Jam
It’s ever-so-slightly more coffee heavy than I was hoping for, so next round I’ll likely dial that back, but longer steeping might help that too. I was just impatient.
Great post buckey. Have you seen the Flavor of the Week - Coffee? A lot of good info in there which might help future endeavors.
