Heckin Strobbies (keeping strawberry in the bottle)
submitted almost 7 years ago by VoopiesEliquid"I Bet I Could Clone That"

Strobbies (also known as strawberries) are a soft red fruit with a seed studded surface, white flowers and lobed leaves.

As delicious as these munchkins are, our delicious strawberry flavours usually need to be paired up with other flavours or they evaporate like our hopes and dreams.

With a little trickery we can retain our delicious strawberry flavour brothers in our PET bottles and stop their escape antics.

Heckin Strobbies

FLV | Alpine Strawberry | 0.5 %

TFA | Strawberry Ripe | 2.0 %

CAP | Strawberry Sweet | 2.0 %

FA | Strawberry (red touch) | 1.0 %

CAP | Cucumber | 1.0 %

TFA | Dragonfruit | 2.0 %

VG: 70% PG: 30% NIC: 2mg/ml

Flavour breakdown:

FLV Alpine Strawberry is a tremendous strawberry that tends to not play well with other strawberries

TFA Strawberry Ripe is a delicious authentic tasting strawberry that loves disappearing from your mixes after a week

These strawberries are enhanced by the slightly artificial CAP sweet strawberry which will help keep our strawberry flavour in the bottle, FA strawberry (Red Touch) jams up our fruits and adds sweetness as well at the cost of a little throat hit.

CAP Cucumber makes our strawberries a little fleshier and natural tasting, it's slight vegetal flavour and 'wetness' is the perfect complement to the candy flavours that we don't necessarily want in this recipe

TFA Dragonfruit is the life force that binds these unfriendly ingredients together, it's super high in Triethyl Citrate which serves a dual purpose in this mix

  1. It emulsifies our flavours so they taste less like various strawberries with a slice of cucumber and more like an authentic, fleshy, ripe strawberry
  2. It's going to help slow down the rate at which our volatile strawberry aromas will escaped our bottle

Recommended steep time: 9 days

Also for the love of all that is good and holy, please do not try heat steep this, all those volatiles that we're trying to keep in our bottle to turn into delicious strawberry e juice will degrade and turn this into a flavourless mush and you'll hate me

Jf sweet strawberry + fa red touch + inw shisha strawberry is the holy trinity if you're looking for a long lasting strobbie. Ive got a strawberry donut mix i found on atf that I've been vaping on for nearly 2 months now and its still juicy and flavorful.

Your vendor will probably never carry it. It's exclusive to ecig express as far as I know...

Is 'delicious' Oz-speak for "horrendous-tasting"? Otherwise, the description totally fails the truth test.

Alpine strawberry is 12 bucks for 10ml on bull city atm.

Ehhh but if you're only using 0.5% it could be worth it. If the recipe is really tasty.

Might be worth a look if you've got some extra cash and love strawberries.

It is very very strong, FLV tends to be pretty expensive and I find a lot of their concentrates overrated

But this alpine strawberry is really quite something

Yeah I just had to get a bunch of FLV tobacco so this will have to wait a couple weeks.
