submitted almost 7 years ago by cidghoul

Thats right. Been ordering flavor concentrates from them for years and never noticed they sell homebrew supplies as well. Handy little bit of info for any diy ejuicers who also happen to homebrew.

I've actually been considering getting into homebrew, so thanks for the heads up. I hadn't poked around in their website enough to know this either.

If ya can clean stuff and boil water ya can brew. Seriously its pretty easy stuff.

I can do those things, but...

A couple days ago I fell, knocked my laptop off its stand, knocked the stand over, and hit my head on my dresser.

All of that and I was just trying to get off my bed.

Try brewing ciders then. Super easy, if you have a whole foods in the area go there grab a gallon of their organic apple juice (comes in a gallon glass jug). With the juice already in the jug all you need to do is put your yeast in and extra sugar if you want a higher alcohol content.

Now, I guess the question is, is this a typical (or at least weekly or so) type of thing?

Just got into homebrewing because my dad found out he has celiac disease and all the gluten-free beer for sale tastes like shit. First batch we made for his birthday was leagues better. Thanks for this information!

This is outstanding. I've been putting off jumping into this for awhile. It's a sign.

Wyeast labs will have the yeast you are looking for also.

Over the years I've gravitated towards dry yeasts. Mostly safale.
