I think I finally came up with my own ADV! Thoughts and suggestions would be great!
submitted almost 7 years ago by snrbtz

This was my attempt on cloning a local shops flavor that I have been stuck on for quite awhile, and I came pretty close though I prefer mine to theirs now. I would love to get some feedback and definitely some suggestions if anybody has any! I am just trying to complete an ADV I can mix myself instead of experimenting with multiple flavors at once, though that's where this came from. I was on a mixing mission and this was one I was really looking forward to making. As it came close the first go around I decided to solely focus on this flavor until I perfect it before moving on to other recipes which is why I am really looking for some tips or suggestions to make it better! Thanks in advance for any feedback, I really hope at least one person enjoys this as it is my first shared recipe!

Edit: Thank you all for the replies! Going in for some tweaks and new flavors this weekend. Much appreciated!

Is Flv lemon weaker than the average flv flavour? I can't imagine any lemon flavour that high! And I've done some silly things with citrus!

You should look into the following:
VT Fizzy Sherbet
FA Polar Blast
WS-23

And try to reduce that flavor used... 19.5% is gonna put people off. Yeah, the flavors may be so weak they need to be used that high, but...

If your ADV requires that much flavor, it might be more cost effective over time to invest in a better flavor RDA.

if it's a 80 vg 20% flavoring isn't unheard of

There's times when it is called for... but many people will look at total flavor and assume it's not very good, and since OP doesn't have the cred to convince people to give it a chance in spite of it...

Sometimes higher percents of flavoring can mute the flavor of the final product. Try lowering flv lemon to 1-2 percent, maybe add inawera lemon shisha at .75-1.25% to give it a sort of sherbety-fizz. Key lime natural has sugar in it which is pretty not great for your lungs when vaporized. I would go with inawera lime shisha, fa Florida key lime, one of the fa lime Tahiti's, or a combination of 2 or 3 of those. Stay low percentages with any of them, max out at 3% maybe 3.5 if you're only using one, 1-1.5% if more. Play with different combos if you want to really tune it in.

I wouldn't use citrus punch or soda base, but I don't have experience. However, from what it looks like you're trying to do, I think the inawera shisha citruses would give you the beverage feel you want, sorta like a blended margarita/real fruit popsicle/sherbet type of smooth fizz. Fa key lime + (fw lemonade 2%, flv lemon at .5-1%, or fa lemon Sicily (listed last on purpose) at 1.5%.

If I were making this flavor profile, I would go

Fw lemonade 1%

Inw lemon shisha 1.5%

Inw lime shisha 1.5%

Fa key lime 1.5%

I don't know orange flavors, so I can't speak to that.

If you are looking for a good orange in this kind of recipe try flv blood orange and then I would lower the % used for flv lemon and combine it with flv lemonade
