FW Fireball Type?
submitted almost 7 years ago by Binsky89

I'm trying to find and make a cinnamon candy (red hot or fireball) for a friend's wife who's quitting. I found this recipe, but I can't find Fireball Type by FW anywhere. I did find Fire Whiskey, but I'm not sure if that's the same thing.

Does anyone know if these are the same flavor (or have good cinnamon candy recipes that don't use it)?

Can you source FLV Red Cinnamon?

If not, you could try this recipe

FLV makes some great cinnamon flavors. Definitely worth checking out.

I keep looking for Fire Cinnamon or red Cinnamon from somewhere reasonable, but no luck yet.

I don't want to speak on behalf of FLV, but in my experience they've been more receptive to sending samples than other companies. Full disclaimer I order their flavoring by the gallon on a fairly regular basis, but I think it's worth stating I buy gallons of flavoring from several companies and FLV is the only one that went out of their way to make sure I had their full line at my disposal.

Again, not saying they'll definitely send you sample bottles, but if you spend some money with them there's probably a good chance.

FLV Red Cinnamon is available from Nicotine River - and it's yummy!

OP didn't say where he's from. Nic river may or may not be an option for him.

Fireball is a type of cinnamon whiskey so perhaps they are the same flavor.

Capella do an absinthe. It's REALLY strong but would be a good place to start.

I tried to make a 'black jack' flavour for a friend (a British candy that's basically aniseed) and this flavour was one of the main additions.

That's a total nonsequitor. Anise is a totally different flavor (as in Cinnamon is good and anise isn't) so I don't see how that helps OP who's asking about a purely Cinnamon flavored candy.

Ah, fireball candy here in the UK is aniseed. Oh well, lost in... translation??

Nonsequitor? Nice. Ill be trying my best to slip that word in a conversation tomorrow. Thanks for that!

Yeah. That whole "two countries divided by a common language" thing.

Be careful with cinnamon, it's know to produce cinamal which is a really hurtful components.

Same goes for banana, lemon, ethyl vanilline and another one which I forgot.

If you really don't give a sh*t, at least try to stay as low as possible with cinnamon.

TFA Red Hots. Much beyond 1% is harsh and I don't notice much increase in flavor

You need to blend it into your PG first or it goes milky. Under 80 vg or you might trigger the solution to precipitate and go white again.

Sweetener can be nice, but I avoid suckralose. Pairs well with CAP Danish Swirl around 4+%
