Looking for 1-3 flavor recipe suggestions for next purchase order
submitted almost 7 years ago by HokieStoner

Hey guys I'm looking for flavor concentrate suggestions for my next big purchase order. I've been DIYing for over a year now and my supplies have essentially run out. When I first started I bought around 60 different flavor concentrates, the majority of which were sample bottles. Over the year I've probably made around 100 different flavors and honestly I haven't formed any strong preferences.

There are certain juice recipes I like more than others but at the end of the day I vape for the nicotine so flavor is very secondary to me. That combined with some laziness has led me to strongly favor making simple 1-3 flavor recipes that serve as ADVs.

I'm looking to purchase a decent stock of supplies that will last me around another year, minus a few small orders along the way. I want to buy at least 30 ml or 120 ml bottles of flavor concentrates so that will limit the amount of juice variety in my budget. I am okay with buying a few sample bottles for recipes that call for very dilute concentrations.

Here's a list of what I'm thinking so far:

  • 120 ml of Strawberry Ripe (TFA)
  • 120 ml of VBIC (TFA)
  • 30 ml of Raspberry (sweet) (TFA)
  • 30 ml of Fuji (FA)
  • 30 ml of Kiwi (FA)
  • 30 ml of Vienna Cream (FA)
  • 8 ml of Coconut (FA)

With these I plan on mixing: Mustard Milk, Strawberry, Strawberry Kiwi, Raspberry Ice Cream, and an snakebite clone (fuji, coconut, vienna cream).

If you have any simple 1-3 flavor recipes I can build off of this list, I'd love to hear your suggestions!

I was thinking the same thing. Seems so obvious in hindsight.

I'm on this at the moment. Never knew it had a name, just some apparant %'s I snarfed from a random thread I saw here recently. It's good though I found the apple dissipated after a couple of days.

Oh hell yea. I'll definitely mix up some of that.

That is a metric fk ton of VBIC.

Some people's palates can only deal with small amounts. Not great as a shake/vape but does age nicely

My Strawberry Milkshake uses 4%, and 2% Bavarian Cream with a good amount of Ripe

C'mon man, "sharing's caring". Exactly how much Ripe is "a good amount"? (rinses out syringe in anticipation)

I use around 7%. Fairly standard for most TFA when the primary flavor in a recipe

Go make a profile on alltheflavors.com

Prickly victory is a great 2 flavor recipe. Sweet guava and cactus.

Always link this one when asked for simple recipes. CAP Sugar Cookie and Vanilla Custard are both delicious and very commonly used ingredients.

One of, if not the, best 2 flavour recipes out there. I've taken to messing around a bit with it and adding a third flavour. My latest was throwing in 3% cap gingerbread and it definitely works.

Throw in a small bottle of Flavorah Chocolate Deutsch. 1.67% (0.5g per 30ml), standalone - go to 2% for tight MTL with high nic. It's not very mixable because of the coconut, but it's delicious and fairly complex on its own without being too rich to vape, and a little bit goes a long way.

I've found chocolate deutsch pairs well with the new FA chocolate donut FWIW.

Yeah, that's the thing - you can make it more of what it already is, or pour milk over it, or what have you, but you can't just borrow the chocolate theme for something that ought to remain unbaked and coconut-free.

I'm working on a combo german chocolate cake/ black forest gateau recipe right now with it. On the 4th interation right now but still a bit to go. I think it will turn out well though.

For me Chocolate Deutsch can be pretty versatile and useful in more than just chocolate/coconut recipes though it makes those really easy. I'm sure it would work great for a Mounds/Almond Joy.

Have you SFT'd it at different %'s. You can kind of hide the coconut if needed. You might could removed the "baked" taste too with the right ingredients to "wetten" it up and make it more raw.

TFA Banana Cream @ 2% with TFA Juicy Peach @ 4%

TFA Strawberry @ 3% with TFA Nectarine @ 2%

None of those flavors are on your list so I’m not sure this is very helpful, but those are two of my favorite “I’m halfway out the door and need to mix something quick” recipes.

Damn strawberry with nectarine sounds dank. I already have about 30 ml of juicy peach lying around somewhere I’ll definitely be trying these recipes, thanks!

TFA Nectarine is criminally underrated. I think it’s easily one of TFA’s top three flavors. And you can swap the strawberry/nectarine percentages if you’d rather have it that way.

Here is a good one if you wanted to add in Sweet Strawberry CAP http://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/310586/Fruit%20Roll-up

But get JF sweet strawberry and honestly purilum strawberry ripe imo is as good but better than tfa... these concentrates just hold up better than the tfa, cap counter flavors
