So a few days ago I asked about mixing freebase nic and nic salts, tried it out myself today and I can gladly say that it works perfectly. It’s smoother than freebase and has the effects of salts with it. I recommend this to anyone that is thinking about trying this
I've been doing the same thing for about 6 months.
Even 24mg freebase couldn't get me past the first smoke in the morning, took 30-40min before I felt human. Nic salts were great, but left craving after 2hrs, where I could go 4hrs on freebase. (note: 1 hr max on smokes)
Since I've been doing equal mix of concentration freebase/salt, I get the benefits of both. It's smoother, hits quicker, works in the morning / after meals, lasts me ~4hrs, and I don't smoke anymore.
So you are using salts to smooth your FB nic basically? What kind of tank/mod are you using?
I’m using a Tauren mech tube and the iJoy combo RDA for now, running at 0.12 ohms
I was trying to make the switch from a Smok tank to an aspire Breeze and the throat hit is just not there. I am wondering if mixing the nicotine might get me the throat hit I'm after.
Would the 6 mg of salt kick harder and better than 6 mg freebase in a mix?
In my trials adding salts (Benzoate based) makes the mix less tasty and nuanced even at low concentrations. The salt has a slight taste itself as well as muting properties which personally I didn't like.
