Mixing app (iOS)?
submitted about 7 years ago by dillycrawdaddy

Hey does anyone know of a quality app for iOS that reliably calculates, mixes and saves/tracks your recipes for you? I made an account at ATF, but have been using the online calculator at ELR because it seems less confusing to this noob. I would prefer to use an app on my phone if there’s a good one out there.

Also: Are the online calculators at above sites accurate and reliable?

Thanks to the community here, which has been really helpful to me in my endeavor to slip down this rabbit hole.

The online calculator on ATF is totally accurate and reliable.

The app doesn't calculate VG levels correctly if you use any VG-based concentrates though

The sites for both of those work well. ATF is slow sometimes. ATF is actually the better calculator of the two

> ATF is actually the better calculator

Curious, is that for some technical reason or personal preference? I use both sites but keep my own mixes on ELR

The flavor database on ELR is user generated. As such, it's completely fucked.

The ATF percentages do look a lot more normal, I thought it was user generated too though?

I prefer elr because I find it easier to use and I usually actually use atf because it’s easier to load my stash and have an easier time finding recipes I’d actually make. Elr I use when it’s something I know I’m working on. Atf is a little bigger on the screen and it just annoys me to scroll when mixing sometimes. Both are fine calculators.

Not an app but I use http://www.mixejuice.com on my phone and it works great. Nice UI and super easy to use.

It's just using the steam engine calculator if I'm not mistaken. Good for a pinch I guess, but not for being serious about mixing

It’s called coil builder or something like that

I found that app, but it doesn’t seem to be for mixing, just wrapping coils.

Nah, it looks like it’s just for coils but it had a juice section but that’s just to save recipes
