Guess what? You might’ve had Creme Brulee and didn’t know it....

I’ve had this flavor Catalan creme for a long time and didn’t know until yesterday when I was shopping at Chefs that it was Flavour Arts version of Creme Brulee! Yay! I’ve been feeling left out with all these great recipes with Creme Brulee. Sorry if this is a stupid post but I wanted to share because I know there are a few others around with this flavor and maybe they didn’t know the good news yet...;) I stand corrected and I thank those that did.. it was an honest mistake because Chefs does say that but maybe something was lost in the translation...so, bottom line is I still need Ina Creme Brulee 😬

I'm not sure where Chefs got that idea from, but those two are definitely not the same thing.

Very similar sure, but there are some distinct differences.

  • Catalan cream has cinnamon and lemon/orange rind.

  • Catalan cream is traditionally made using milk (thickened with cornstarch) whereas Creme Brulee is made using cream.

This. The corn starch makes it very different. I was gonna say strange but that's only cause I was expecting creme brulee at the time 😎

Did u go to Chefs and see what I saw? Idk either but they do say it’s Creme Brulee.... I didn’t know what a Catalan creme was thank you.. so bummer I still don’t have Creme Brulee 😂😩

I think he’s talking about the flavour not the actual food. And chefs is uk vape diy supplier

Tastes nothing like any creme brulee that I've ever had or tried. But they are an italian company so their flavors may be different to follow italian traditions (meringue being a good example).

I can't tolerate FA Catalan Cream at all. No clue why but even if used at 0.5% in a recipie it ends up being the only thing that I taste and it almost makes me sick to my stomach.

I understand. I just found out FlavorArts 'expresso' is known as 'Dark Bean' to many people.
