I just started diy not too long ago and this sub has been such help in beginning this hobby. I have some flavors from 1-2-3 and simple recipes but recently had a craving for runts banana and most of the atf and flavor of the week recipes (banana) have a more bakery or authentic banana in mind. I know LA Banana has a more runts type flavor but are there other banana flavorings similar? I'm trying to duplicate VW Wrecking Ball (runts banana/whip cream) and any help will be appreciated.
EDIT- Thank you very much for the help! Being a newbie, I was a bit scared to ask but you guys were such good help with suggestions. I'll order all the flavors mentioned and start mixing away! Hopefully I can contribute my recipe once it is satisfactory and tested.
I can't remember exactly what runts taste like since I haven't had them in years but I use 8% TFA Banana Cream with 2% TFA Ripe Banana to get that artificial banana flavor. To me and everyone who's tried it the general consensus is it tastes like banana Laffy Taffy which I think is pretty similar to runts. Not sure if that's what you're going for but I think TFA Ripe Banana is a good flavor to play around with for a candy.
You need TFA ripe banana period. One of the first flavors I ever got, it's basically liquefied banana runts, unless the formula has changed in the past few years.
This stuff is STRONG. We're talking a few drops strong.
When I was about 2 months into my job of being a flavorist for a vape company I bumped into a shelf and knocked over a 4mL glass vial of TFA Ripe Banana. It shattered on the tile floor.
We had to clear the building. To this day when I mix anything with a banana flavor (I think specifically anything with isoamyl acetate) I get nauseous and start having flashbacks.
The potency of this flavoring should not be underestimated. It's literally used to test the seal on gas masks.

LA Banana Cream would work, could also use TFA Banana Cream. 4-5%
CAP Vanilla Whipped Cream or TFA Whipped Cream, 1-1.5%. My first choice would be FA Whipped Cream but it's hard to find.
A few years ago my wife's coworker asked for a juice that was 'strong candy banana'. She was using some kind of clearomizer on low wattage. I made her a bottle with 15% LA BC and she said she loved it, tasted "just like Banana Runts!" Coulda been lying, I suppose.
I read this and thought well this is easy. Take any banana flavouring, from any manufacturer, and mix it up. Voila.
^((kind of a joke but also kinda close))
FLV Banana is also candy banana over 2%
This flavor leaves the drama at home and brings out the banana cream lover in all of us. It has that strong banana pudding taste and uses a delicious dessert cream to round out a great e-juice.
Primary Flavors: Banana, Cream
Wrecking Ball was August 2015's Mystery Flavor!
I think you can buy it at vape wild for about as cheap as you can make it :)
Banana cream, cream & sweetener would be my guess
Well I have everything except the banana flavorings so hopefully it will be cheaper than $20 for 120ml lol
Yeah 120ml costs me about $6.00 to make, but vape wild has intro specials where you can get 120ml for $1.00!
Lorann banana cream tastes literally spot on identical to banana runts to me. I haven’t tried any other banana but I guess most of the banana flavors do according to the comments here.
My wife really likes a banana runts juice I make for her and it is just Fw banana with some cap supersweet. I used to use La bc but Fw is just a touch more candied.
What percentage of CAP SS do you recommend as a starting point? I'm waiting on my order but thought 1% should be fine.
I'm kinda late in this one, sorry! I'm not really on here that much. Banana Runts was the very first recipe I sought out when I started diy. I was lucky that the first one I found was legit. I found it here (sorry I don't have a link. It was a while ago) Anyhow, it was a recipe released by Vapor Trail Eliquids because they were discontinuing it. It was called Goldilocks. It's a wonderful Banana Runt recipe Imo!
TFA Banana Cream 7% TFA Bananas Foster 5% TFA Banana Nut Bread 5% TFA Banana Ripe 1%
Like I said, it's a great recipe. I would lower the Banana Nut Bread % to maybe 4% though. I found that at 5% you could taste the spice a tiny bit too much. But, taste is subjective! It's very necessary and like I said, the recipe as is is awesome. Sorry I don't have the recommended steep time.
Why would you do that? Runts banana is the worst flavor known to mankind
It's literally what bananas used to taste like before a mold killed off the dominant banana. All you've ever eaten is second best.
