Menthol Crystals

hello there i just have a question. I bought menthol crystals for the firist time now and i dont really know about mixing it. I found on the internet that people using pure PG or pure VG for mixing but i dont have that right now, so i wanted to ask you can i mix it with my regular VG70 PG30 juice? Tanx in advance...

In theory it's possible. Not worthwhile. Weigh a sample, crush it, mix it into PG. Shake it like it owes you money.

mix with pure PG.

Crush up what you're going to use. 10% is a good idea. mix at PG 3:1 Menthol Crystals. Warm up some water and put the bottle in. shake and you're done. 30ml at 10% will last years.

3 grams of menthol crystals to 30ml of PG.

If you want it stronger, which i wouldn't do because 10% is already a one or two drop addition, you can try 1:1 or 1:2.

Your wrote your calculations in a slightly confusing manner.

1:10 crystal:pg ratio by weight makes a 10% menthol suspended in PG solution.

Which part was confusing? It's pretty direct instructions to make 30ml of a 10% dilution.

I think he's referring to the "PG 3:1 menthol crystals" part. Makes it sound like you want 3mg of pg to 1 g of crystal.

I do not recommend mixing it with mixed PG/VG. If you do, you should heat it so it helps to dissolve it (obviously, you should avoid doing this if nic is already added to the PG/VG mix).

A better plan is to mix it with PG, wait until it fully dissolves, and then mix in the VG. Doing it this way ensures it all dissolves well and is well distributed.
