Last night I received this email from our own /u/queuetue:
> Your All The Flavors subscription is ending.
> In June of 2017, our credit card processor, Stripe announced they no longer wanted All The Flavors' business, as they considered our customers to be too "risky" to allow on the platform.
> We tried pretty hard for a few months to find an alternative credit card processor, but there weren't any good alternatives available to me, so I opted to take all of the users who had signed up via stripe and just give them free accounts while I investigated other alternatives.
> Only one processor stepped forward, and it was PayPal - not my favorite choice, but beggars can't be choosers, and it's worked out really well so far - all new subscribers since then have signed up with PayPal.
> But there are still a big handful of you who were paying annually via Stripe, and I just let you ride - some of you for more than a year now, after your expiration dates were up. I'm sorry to say, that free ride is finally ending on Monday. Your Pro subscriptions are being cancelled, as of Monday morning, EST.
> All of your data will be preserved, and if you want to continue being pro, just create a new sub via PayPal on Monday. If you don't, that's cool, catch you in another life. :)
> If you need an extension or have any questions, let me know by responding to this email - I'm happy to take care of you, you guys were the first people to sign up on All The Flavors and you are appreciated.

So I must have been one of those free riders. For a while now I've been thinking to myself "shouldn't my subscription be up by now?" And just chalked it up to an oversight. Now I know the full story and I have to say:
/u/queuetue is an awesome person. And ATF is a great service.
I've been tapering down my nic and thinking about quitting (thus my lack of participation around here lately) and between getting fired and starting a new job, money has been tight. This sub and ATF have been a huge part of my life for the last couple years. I cannot list everyone who has been helpful but I will tag a few people in the comments that deserve a shout out for general awesomeness while I'm shouting out.
Thank You for taking the time.
Since he takes bitcoin donations, would love to see bitcoin accepted as subscription payment.
Agree with this. Plus it'd be good practice for u/queuetue to get into cryptocurrency - bitcoin is here to stay.
He's into crypto, we discussed it at length right before it became the news story of the week and a household term. I believe he was the one that tipped me off to MIOTA when it was only $.27
Recurring Bitcoin subscriptions are REALLY hard to pull off, due to the nature of bitcoin. I used to have an annual/single option with cryptos, but ... Well, to be honest, the tech support volume wasn't worth the amount it brought in. :)

If you want to prepay 2 years with a crypto, let me know and I can make it happen, there are a few of you out there already.

Yeah, I got this email too. I was already aware that I'd been an ATF freeloader for some time. Checked my subscription details and found that had gone on for 12 months + 2 weeks.
I didn't wait for Monday. I clicked the unsubscribe button, logged out, logged back in then resubscribed with Paypal for a one-year subscription immediately. EZPZ
As for you tapering down your nic and thinking about quitting vaping...
I just rewatched the office a couple of months ago.
God I love that show.
I’d be happy to hook you up with a year of ATF to keep you from quitting on us... you’re worth it
I really appreciate that, but it's not only because of the cost that I'm quitting. I'm going to try to get off the nic for good soon. I'm going down to 1.5 nic today and heading towards 0. I'll still pop in the sub now and then.
If it wasn't such a pain to transfer all of the info I've written into my ELR account I would pay for ATF but I am just too lazy I think!
They seem like genuinely good people providing a premium service and its unfortunate they weren't on the radar before ELR!
there is a function to export your stash and then upload it to atf. trust me when i say, if i can do it it must not be too hard. if you want to, of course. it does open you up to a whole bunch of recipes fairly easily.
I don't recall getting this email. My yearly sub is up in a few months. I paid for it, though.
