The search "single flavor" gave me tons of awesome flavor reviews, but not exactly what I'm looking for. What are some good single flavors that taste like multiple flavors? Things like apple pie or those funky FA/INW flavors with abstract names that don't describe the flavor at all. I'd like to amass a collection of single flavors to vape on those (more often than not) lazy days.

FA Forest Fruit
-
CAP Harvest Berry
-
PUR Tropical Blend
-
FLV Wild Melon
Forest Fruit is already my #1, words cannot describe how much I love that flavor lol! Will definitely get some 10mls of the rest for experiments.
FA forest fruit is so strong I can't even use more than 2 drops per 10 ml. Any tips?
Heh, I made this for my neighbor:
FA Forest Fruit 12%
CAP Super Sweet 2%
He loves it, despite the gunk from hell.
(it's actually not bad once you get past the flavor shock)
+1 for FLV Wild Melon. That stuff is AMAZING
When you're not having a lazy day you could mix up some flavour base one shots to use on lazy days. Just write the percentage needed on the bottle and you're good to go with a single mix
Wonder flavors has a few profile type flavors. Glazed Doughnut and hazelnuts and cream , ruyan custard are the ones I like a lot. Cap lemon meringue pie , and Tfa banana nut bread are great as well.
Currently using a mix of just CAP's Lemon Meringue Pie and it's wonderful. Question for you though, have you tried V1? I'm currently using V2.
FW jungle juice is a pretty good single flavor I use often. I usually add cactus and koolada but it works by itself as well.
INW Am4a
INW Gold Ducat
FLV Red Burley
Tobaccos in general are the most complex flavors.
Don’t forget Inawera’s Dark for Pipe.
Really, the entire "for pipe" line. I was just making a point with a few that are quite good solo.
Speaking of Pipe, Hangsen Pipe (also labeled as "French Pipe") is quite complex after a long steep. I use 4.5% in a MTL tank.
If you have the original formula Gold Ducat, try ageing a bottle for 5-6 months. Mine (at 3.5%) turned into a rich dessert tobacco, sort of a Polish RY4. Named it gOld Ducat.
Honestly, I get this most from tobaccos. FLV native and INW Black for pipe being my favorites so far, but there's really quite a bit out there.

Aside from that, I'm afraid I wont be much help outside seconding forest fruit and wild melon. As a side note, however, I am finding the 1-2-3 concept to be very rewarding for making complex flavors with some simple ingredients.
NETs like Stixx Mixx also have tons of nuance and depth to them. Quite a few of RY#'s are also very complex. So far my favorite RY's are TFA RY4D, DIYFS Holy Grail RY4, HS RY4.
The jury is still out on FA RY4, I mixed a SFT in an old concentrate bottle and too much of the flavor from the concentrate remained and seeped into the juice. (If anyone has advice on how to clean the flavor out of old concentrate bottles let me know)
Have you tried cap sweet guava? It's really good that it's part my favorite recipe, cap sweet guava 4% inw cactus 1%. Since cactus only adds a bit of juiciness, you might like this.
FW Strawberry Milkshake.
let's not forget Acetyl Pyrazine >!lol asif fuck off go2bed you know I'm chatting gash!<
EDIT: There's a few Mom & Pops flavours which make for really good solo recipes: eg Apple Pie (tastes like McDonalds apple pies), Calipitter Chow and Pchela's 5-something-something (both also dessert-esque flavours)
FW Vanilla Custard has got me stumped. It's definitely neither vanilla or custard (in the traditional sense), but it's...something, unlike any other single flavor, and I've yet to pin it down.
FWIW, you just reminded me actually that CAP Vanilla Custard V1 was actually my first DIY juice I mixed up (20% solo with 2% sucralose sweetener lol but we all did rookie things in our salad days, no?)
How does FW's Vanilla Custard compare btw?
It doesn't compare to CAP or TFA, and you can't use it to impart vanilla-laced creaminess/eggyness/body like you would with those. It has a curious spiciness that reminds me of a cross between Christmas and an aromatherapy shop. Can't describe it any better than that. If I had to liken it to another flavor, it would be Nude Nicotine Patchouli Vanilla, but that's still a long way off; FW VC's vanilla is a lot more artificial than the NN.
Strange thing is, it's good, maybe because it's just so weird and different. I don't vape a lot of it, but always have a bottle on hand (solo, 8%). Pick some up and try for yourself, then tell me what you think!
I would pick it up but unlike TFA flavours (and to a lesser extent Capella flavours (unless we're talking CAP SL in which case it's to a greater extent than is with TFA (as to what is, I'll explain once I leave these parenthesis slowly getting out of hand (sorry, it's just one of those days)))) the 10ml bottles tend not to be so laughably cheap to just pick up any old flavour on a whim with an order - at least IME at £1.50 a 10ml TFA bottle on Chefs Flavours (I fear this is starting to sound like an endorsement - it's not, I'm just pretty buzzed and excitable atm) - like I did with all the TFA cereal-related flavours and now I've got a shelf dedicated to breakfast concentrates but I've not taken the time to actually even just bash a load of em out into a couple of solo tester mixes funnily enough. I do mean to, believe me, I just need to get round to whipping up a dedicated RDA build for flavour tasting cos if you end up with one of those super intense, irreversible coil-tainting flavours, then doing so - testing it out - on a tank is a pain in the penerium (excuse the pun) - a red-hot clapton-wire down the japsie, if-you-will... *phew*... ramble over.
My point was, anyway, I wonder if any of those TFA cereals are good little solo-soldiers... y'know, I should just take a look.
