Hi! My first post here as I'm just starting to make my own liquids. So I'll go ahead.
I don't have any good flavors available from where I'm from. So I asked a friend to buy me some from the U.S. so I can start to finally make my own liquids.
My question is: Is there a good recipe that I can work with, with the flavors I have at the moment.
I currently got:
- Strawberry (Ripe) (TPA) 6ml
- Dragonfruit (TPA) 6ml
- Raspberry Sweet (TPA) 6ml
- Lemonade (Loraan) 6ml
- East Coast Tobacco (FW) 6ml
I would truly appreciate any kind of feedback, as I have everything prepared, I just don't want to waste any of my flavors doing experiments. Thanks!
I'm guessing from your post history that you're from Mexico. Can't you order online? https://losalquimistas.net/index.php
Yes, I can order. Any recomendations from the website?
There's too many to list honestly. They seem to have a large selection of TFA and an alright selection of Flavour Art. I would personally stick to those two myself, especially if you are looking to make simple fruity stuff.
Since you are not looking to experiment and try to make your own recipes, I would suggest finding some recipes, and buying the flavors for those recipes.
There are a handful of recipes in this thread and it is a good starting point: https://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/wiki/first_order_flavors
The rest comes down to doing some research, and finding recipes that you can find the flavors for.
6% LA Lemonade
3% TFA Raspberry sweet
It would be better with a bit of a bitter lemon (like INW Lemon Mix) and some cooling agents (like FA Polar Blast and WS-23) but for a candy-ish NeoCitron vape it'd be pretty good. (Or a raspberry lemonade that you left in your car all afternoon in the summer.)
Thank you! I'll try it in a bit. Or should I wait
Not alot to work with if you want a tobacco vape. You could try 4% east coast as a standalone, or with maybe .5% Dragonfruit to smooth it out and give a light fruity note. I don't actually have east coast tobacco so I can't really say if it fits that profile well
Dragonfruit doesn't pair with the tobacco profile, ripe strawberry is a bad fit too. I wouldn't recommend going over 7% with this tobacco as a standalone either but I'd suggest about 5.5% myself, maybe 6 as I like it strong.
Yeah I wouldn't grab it to throw in tobacco myself, but not sure what else they have that would work better. Raspberry Sweet maybe? I've used dragonfruit at .3% in a vanilla cream cherry pipe tobacco to make everything blend and smooth and it worked quite well. But I concede that just dragonfruit + tobacco might be a bit weird
Yeah I feel ya, it's grasping at straws. Unfortunately OP didn't really buy flavors that mix so the best advice is just to go standalone. The fruits could be mixxed amongst themselves but their not the best for pairing either unfortunately. Strawberry ripe is a fresh flavor and raspberry sweet is more of a candy and lemonade would fall somewhere in between those profiles and if it contains malic acid would be quite harsh and not preferable for mixing if that's the case. At the very least OP could flavor some vodka if he doesn't use all his flavors in time.
Honestly those all have standalone potential but their not the best for mixing amongst each other. Just a tip for dragonfruit, you can pair it with creams but never go above 1.5% became dragonfruit is not dominant, even at 7-8%. Dragonfruit is a fragile flavor similar to ripe strawberry, it's best if you vape the coil dry before putting it down becuse the flavor molecules break down if you leave it on the coil and if you put it down for awhile and pick it up again it will be kind of gross and so with these your having to put fresh juice on the coil for best results, this is why these flavors are not that great in tanks. You also have to be careful with heat exposure with these two flavors.
