Continuing with my Koolada obsession here is my take on orange 'Tang' drink crystals.
Not much to say really other than I wanted an orange fruit zinger riding on top of some sort of tart base, hence the TFA Orange Cream Bar and TFA Greek Yogurt.
The TFA Acai was added in an attempt to enhance and pull the orange away from the tart custard base a bit and make it stand on it's own without getting lost in the mix - literally! TFA Acai is a really nice ingredient that I wish I saw more of. The TFA Coconut Extra and Koolada work well together to contribute a sherbet like zing. TFA Sweetener obviously adds overall sweetness, which is needed here, but also mutes some minor harshness from the coconut.
This can be shake and vaped but really should be given at least three days or so to settle any bitterness from the orange. The slight bitterness is not offensive, nor is it really noticeable on the inhale or the exhale, but it may become noticeable depending on what you've eaten/drank/vaped, etc...
- TFA Orange Cream Bar 3.5%
- TFA Coconut Extra 0.5%
- TFA Koolada 1%
- TFA Greek Yogurt 2%
- TFA Acai 1.5%
- TFA Sweetener 1%
- CAP Vanilla Custard v1 1.5%
Looks good thank you! What’s that Açai like? A red berry? A bilberry? And if you’re obsessed w Koolada do you stalk WS-23? 😩😂 koolada is like diet coke and ws-23 is regular coke, no after taste, imo. Or maybe you already know this...;)
I got Acai in the spring. Absolutely love it. Extremely strong for a TFA flavor. Lots of blackberry notes, can get weird over 2.5%
Due to low%, you can make some very high VG cloud chaser juice.
By accident I mixed the same max VG (FA Pear) and the two play incredibly well together
