Watermelon Kooli
submitted about 7 years ago by [deleted]

For the past month or two I'd been quite bored and uninspired with vape flavors; don't know why - it just happened. For the last week, however, I kinda feel like I've rediscovered the flavorful world of vaping once again - and that is thanks largely to one ingredient alone: Koolada! So I'm on a huge Koolada kick ATM and can't seem to get enough of the cooling freshness it imparts... in fact, most juices I've vaped lately without this ingredient seem rather lackluster by comparison. Anyway, here is another Koolada heavy juice I made: Watermelon Kooli.

It is lovely and refreshing.

The base is comprised of Bavarian cream with a slight hint of coconut that I feel compliments the watermelon, kiwi and cactus fruits very well.

  • TFA Watermelon 2.5%
  • TFA Kiwi Double 1.5%
  • INW Cactus 1.5%
  • TFA Koolada 1.5%
  • FLV Sweet Coconut 0.5%
  • TFA Coconut Extra 0.5%
  • TFA Bavarian Cream 2%

Very nice as a shake 'n vape with a good ale.

A person after my own heart haha. Mate I had to wrestle myself out of adding WS-23 to a carrot cake(!) mix the other day. I love love love WS-23 and Koolada. Side note - all i would taste if i mixed this is INW Cactus. You could crush entire armies with 1.5% of that stuff.

I'm thinking that Bavarian Cream is going to beat the Cactus into submission. So much Vanilla and Ethyl Maltol in it.

I wouldn't say the BC beats down the cactus but it does tame it enough that the astringent quality of the cactus is retained while allowing the watermelon to be the primary flavor - otherwise I think the cactus and watermelon would become a bit of a mess fighting each other for center-stage.

Exactly. Looks like a great mix.

I haven't tried WS-23 yet. Does it have a minty taste as well as the cooling or is it just purely an arctic blast?

WS-23 is just for cooling - no minty taste

Gotcha. What's the difference compared with TFA Koolada, any?

Finally someone who actually uses Coconut Extra with good results. Looks tasty, but I have to agree with u/MasterBeernuts about the INW Cactus, that stuff is so stronk.

How long did it take you to nail this down?

I'm 2 versions in on my own watermelon atm, need inspiration to try a third. That coconut bav cream might do it but I'm not sure how it will play with Apple!

About five minutes. It should be good with apple - give it a go and if it fails show it the sink. Go slow with the apple though, that's why I prefer the 'less is more' approach.

Your recipes look lovely, do you have them on ATF or ELR?

No, just Xool on ATF.

Would you consider putting more up? It would be so much easier saving them for later and seeing what flavours I need. Regardless, thanks for sharing!

Sure, if you're interested I'll do it soon. Cheers. Edit: I don't have a premium account on ATF though and couldn't easily find Xool using the searchbar.
