This thread is for you to share what you are vaping lately, be it your own or another mixers recipe. Maybe you happened to stumble upon your new ADV in the July Recipe Thread? Or did someone recommend your first mix to you in the Suggest a recipe for my flavors Thread?
Share what you liked or didn't like too much, but most importantly, please make sure to properly link to the recipe and to the mixer if they're on reddit.
If you need some inspiration, some websites keep track of your mixes and batches: e-Liquid Recipes and All The Flavors.

Happy Vaping!
Still my favorite thread of the week! So, I was strategic in my mixing last week and specifically chose to mix up several community recipes that would meet staggered steep times. I recently went all in on some creams/custards so I wanted recipes that sort of touched on those a bit more.
Dumbo ears by u/queuetue This is my second time mixing this up. My first 30ml went down fast about two months ago and I was chasing some other things and sort of forgot about it. I found the near empty bottle and decided to refill it. Super glad I did. It's a reminder to me that simple recipes can be complex and straightforward at the same time. 4.5% flavoring and it's light enough to rip for a good while and deep enough to be satisfying.
Apple Buttah by u/goldfish18 came through. with 40ish reviews, I wasnt really surprised it was enjoyable. I love apple and cinnamon so there's really not much to add here other than it delivers.
Vanilla Wafer Banana Pudding by u/vurve looked good and I wanted to mess with the banana creams I had that I hadn't quite liked as much in prior tests/recipes. I chose to add some stuff a la u/mlNikon's Nillas and pudding but I went with CAP SC at 2% and added TFA Pie Crust at 1% for more of a banana pudding pie type feel. After a bit of a steep now (6 days) it's come together nicely and the banana has settled some into a more consistent flavor on each vape. In all, this was fun to play with and I can see myself using this to play with different crust/cookie types to see what I like.
Leche de Coco by u/HashSlingingSlashur another "what can I say?" type recipe. It's good. To me, it's balanced and subtle. I'm again reminded that I like slap-you-in-the-face flavors.
Butterscotch Cupcake by u/ExclusiveGirl I wanted to try two new flavors to me: butterscotch ripple and LA CCI. Not sure what's up with this mix on my tongue but it has some taste I really dont like. I'm going to guess it's the ripple so I may have to back it up and hit that solo to figure out what exactly is not sitting well with me. Luckily there are about 4 other recipes on atf with ripple I want to try including some ry4 combos so i think it'll be 15ml tester time.
lastly, I started playing with CAP Lemon Lime. I felt it tasted just like the soda maybe without the fizz and I liked it. So, naturally I searched and found this: 7up by u/pgll55 and the u/ID10-T 123's it was derived from. I lacked the VT FS so i stuck with a kind of lemon drink type and used some of the 7up ideas as a base. So a'stealing and a'mixing I went. I decided to test it with some yakima hops for a more beery/corona light with lime taste. I enjoyed it. Saw u/ChemicalBurnVictim's lime camel recipe of which I had none of the flavors for of course, so I've been testing it with some of the ones I do have. There have been some serious hits and misses. I liked the flavors on the dripper with INW Am4A and Cavendish but when mixed up it felt super sweet and syrupy and not cig and beery style. A gentle reminder that balance means balance, not more of the same. So, next round will likely feature some more hearty and earthy types I have which will hopefully produce some good enough to enjoy the journey.
edit: oh and only 3 more weeks for hop spit and apricaught me slippin' :(
Glad you found some use for it ;) By the way, Sounds lovely what you did. That's the great thing about DIY, you can take great recipes and develop them further, like I did with ID10-T's recipe. Using solid recipes as templates to mess with is a great way to learn. Looking forward to tasting your beer.
Over the past week or so, I have been going back to a few of the first community recipes I tried. When I first started out I had a little Kanger Subox Mini which I was using at 20W or so. While I enjoyed the recipes I made back then, I thought I'd give them another shot since my setup is far better for flavour now.
The first one I tried was one of my favourites back then:
Sugar Cookies & Cream by /u/Chrisdvr1
This is really a classic, and deserves all of the high ratings it gets on ATF. I don't know if it's because my setup is better, my tastes have changed, my nic is better or a combination of factors but this is a lot better than I remember it being. The balance of flavours is simply wonderful. The TPA Butter and INW Biscuit are at just the right percentages to provide a rich biscuit base, the FW Hazelnut placed just right to provide a hint of nuttiness without taking over the profile.
I played around with a couple of additions and subs as I was enjoying this so much, and this recipe has proven to be quite versatile. Added 1.5% FA Apple Pie and 0.1% Rich cinnamon, which turned out very tasty. Also tried swapping the FA Cream fresh for FLV Cream, the FW Hazelnut for FW Creamy Hazelnut and Adding 2% TPA Banana Nut Bread, which was great off a shake, and I think will be even better when I come back to it next week.
I also went back to Dinner Lady A Lemon Tart Remix by ~~/u/dazcole~~ not sure of daz' reddit username, please tag him if you know it.
I made 300ml of this 3 months or so ago, and I was loving it for about a week, but eventually got sick of it as an ADV. The remaining 150ml or so has been sitting in a glass jar since then, and last weekend I decided to try it. This is a totally different beast when steeped for over a month. The lemons and the creams have come together wonderfully. The creams have developed, becoming more full and thick, and at the same time taking the edge off the most harsh elements of the lemon. 10/10, would definitely recommend making a batch of this and forgetting about it for a few months.
With the huge disclaimer that I've not tried either of them, I can almost guarantee you by eyeballing the recipes that this version, also by Dazcole, is even better than the Dinner Lady A Lemon Tart Remix you've enjoyed:
Damnit! No way for me to get the FE Lemon in my country. Looks like a totally different beast of a recipe though
I prefer Vurve's Milk and Sugar Cookies after a 20 day steep. Have you tried that one?
FLV Ginger, FLV Gingersnap, VT Ginger Root, NF Ginger, FW Ginger, HS Gingerbread, CAP Gingerbread, TFA Gingerbread Extra Ginger, TFA Ginger Ale, OoO Ginger Ale Soda, OoO Ginger Beer, OoO Gingerbread Cookie, INW Spicy Biscuit, INW Falcon Eye
and various works in progress, including an iced tropical sweet tea, a ginger-pear-tobacco, a couple of lazy additions to Pink Guavacation, a mango rum.
Made a last minute addition to my Akane recipe that I was planning to make public a while back, so I was checking in on that for the last two weeks. Just a little side note- it was a lot harder than I thought it would be to spell “Akane” with tobacco.
Been vaping /u/amouthforwar ’s Tütün this week to write him a nice review. Spoiler alert: it’s pretty good stuff. Although I did make it with the old Gold Ducat, and he specifically says he used the new. I think that’s one of the few that INW reformulated in the right direction, but I still like the old and I don’t think it’s going to change my mind about the recipe one way or the other.
Been a little lazy with mixing lately. Probably because this month’s theme for Mixers Club (join today!) is laziness. I made an attempt at cloning my favorite NET (Solani Aged Burley Flake) a couple days after the submission thread was posted, and figured I’d just be lazy and submit that. Might tweak just one thing, but version 1 was pretty damn close, which is nice because I’m running low on the NET and it’s hard to find that tobacco in stock because it sells out within hours because it’s so damn good.
<3
If you used the old ducat yours is likely much sweeter and wetter but still has the same flavor profile I was aiming for. I'm glad you're enjoying it, hopefully it's as spicy as I intended. I'll be putting in another order for stuff this weekend or the next and the stuff I need for Akane is on the list :) Been waiting for you to post it!
To 2nd CB, If you enjoy mixing and want to swap samples of your stuff with a group of other mixers, join the mixers club! Get some super constructive criticism to better your mix, brainstorm ideas with the rest of the members, and just have some fun mixing.
been a slow week for me. Finishing up Bombies nana cream by /u/FzzMustard, and Mother of Dragons Milk by /u/ID10-T, both really good. And now, i'm strawberried out, and trying to find other things to make. I started on Vanilla Wafer Banana Pudding by /u/Vurve. It's good, but i think it could use a few more days of steeping to bring out the banana cream more. And, i've been not so patiently working on trying tp perfect my first recipe. On version #4. Hopefully, some day soon it will be ready to be posted here.
Here is what I got this week:
Malted Vanilla Custard by /u/xgranitex
When he initially released the recipe I didn't have INW Marizpan so I tried it with FA. After finally getting in INW's, FA's Marzipan cannot do this recipe justice. Hands down this has got to be my new favorite custard recipe right now. The subtle nuances that everything in the recipe provides just makes for a damn tasty experience. If you are a patient mixer I would highly recommend this one.
Mixen Vixens Coffee Caramel Frappe
I'm always hopeful when it comes to coffee recipes, mostly because I hope I don't get the dreaded burnt popcorn taste I get with most coffee flavors. This was a pleasant surprise and I'm enjoying it. WS-23 has really shown it's versatility to me and this is a great iced coffee recipe.
This is Just a Tribute 3.1a.1d 10-day steep
MFG|Flavor|% :-:|:-:|:-: TFA|Acetyl Pyrazine 5%|1% FA|Fuji Apple|2% CAP|Cinnamon Danish Swirl|2% TFA|Dragonfruit|0.5% FW|Hazelnut|1.5% CAP|Super Sweet|0.25% CAP|Sweet Cream|2% TFA|Vanilla Bean Ice Cream|3% FLV|Vanilla Pudding|2.5%
This is a recipe that I've tweaked for a really REALLY long time. It's inspired by a recipe that a good friend of mine came up with when he was working in a vape shop. It's an apple bread pudding ala mode. If I had to be stuck with one profile for the rest of my life it would have to be an apple cinnamon recipe, and this one is probably the one I would choose.
For those experienced with apple cinnamon you may be surprised to hear that I only just recently added TFA's Dragonfruit to it. For a long time I really didn't think I needed it, but for this batch it serves 2 purposes:
- To help boost the apple cinnamon combo
- Help maintain the profile over a long steep
This recipe from days 10 to about 3 weeks it is the best damned apple cinnamon recipe you have had in your life, but after week 4 or so FLV's Vanilla pudding starts to take over. It ends up muddying up the whole recipe. So I'm thinking if I give the apple cinnamon a slight boost it might stave off the pudding flavor from taking over. I'm also considering backing off FLV Vanilla Pudding to 2% but it's balance with the AP is very delicate. So I'm going to have about 30ml of this now (it's delicious btw), and I'm going to save the other half of the 60ml I made to try at about 6 weeks. Wish me luck! When I finally perfect it I'll definitely share this one on ATF.
I haven't posted in this thread in a while, mostly because I was traveling a lot and committed myself to going through all the left-overs that I had lying around (addict mentality I guess, but can't taste anything on festivals anyway so I might as well try that 6-months-old Mango Sticky Rice).
I didn't follow up on the White Flakes Recipe I worked on last time, but I almost mixed up yet another bottle of Apple Buttah by /u/goldfish18 yesterday. I always wondered how an RY 4 would work in there, might have to try that next.
Apart from that, my Sour IPA turned out quite tasty given the temperatures lately.
A few weeks ago, I stumbled upon this very simple cheesecake base recipe by /u/chink_t and, well, putting it mildly, it has a very distinct smell and taste, but it's amazing; Totally gonna work that into a recipe.
Then, yesterday I mixed up another "improvisation" of Arctic Queen by Fear (are they on reddit?). I don't have INW Natural Mint, so I had to sub it with INW Frost @0.5% and Menthol Crystals in 50% PG @1%. Added INW Vanilla For Pipe @1% because I liked that as a support flavor to menthol flavors in the past. I'm pretty sure I overdid it with the INW Frost though, tasted amazing yesterday, today my toothpaste tasted like nothing - instant menthol fatigue!
That cheesecake base is so versatile. Literally just add in straw/blue-berry, banana, key-lime, anything really at 6% To get slamming dessert vapes. One of the best I recently did was that base with 4% banana cream and 2% pecan.
I really want to try it with rhubarb. Don't have any rhubarb flavors yet, so that's a whole new adventure (and shopping list) waiting. I could imagine that a very natural (sour) rhubarb doesn't work too well with the Greek Yoghurt...
An RY4 would most likely fit well in Apple Buttah. I'd probably make a small test size of Apple Buttah exactly as I created it with the addition of an ry4 of your choice. I'd also make another with the fuji toned down a bit, fa caramel bumped up, and the addition of an ry4.
If you try it out, let me know!
Thanks for the suggestions! Just mixed it up with 4% TPA RY4D, gonna let that steep for a couple of weeks and report back.
I can imagine the Fuji will be less pronounced when the RY4D steeps out.
After trying a disappointing 'Cactus Cooler' at a shop on the beach last week, I made my own after vaycay:
INW Cactus 1%
FA Watermelon 2%
FW Kiwi 3%
WS-23 to taste
Simple, yummy, SnV.
That looks perfect for summer.
Is your WS-23 to taste around 1%?
Red Honduran. Idk why but the strawberry here is amazing. Tastes like candy strawberry with a mix of fresh strawberries (no tartness tho). Very sweet. This means though, that the cream and tobacco aren't very forward. They're there, and noticeable, but I suppose it's not the first thing you'll taste. That said, I love this.
Trying to reset my palate after testing pod recipes for a week or more. Hitting a quick lemon-lime/mint mix (Cap Lemon-Lime 6% & INW natural mint 1.5%)
I'm also vaping u/ConcreteRiver's [Terrorhawk] (https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/13499#terrorhawk_by_concreteriver) which is a fantastic grapefruit/vanilla mix. One of my all time favorite recipes. It should be recipe of the decade in my eyes.
Been vaping This for the past few days. Very good. Taste like strawberry honeycomb cereal.
Been vaping on this black currant ice cream since its been so fucking hot here. Delicious stuff. Its my first mix with black currant as the main flavor and I'm loving it. And its SNV! so I'm downing this while I let viserion steep.
Taking a bit of a break from tobaccos but I'll pickup my vt inbox + hadeon occasionally and its loaded up with my Fistful of RY, to scratch that dry dessert bacco itch. Hit the nail on the head with that mix, subtle vanilla and caramel notes in a earthy cigarillo wrapped with a nice dry and smoky leaf.
Last month was very clone heavy for me. 06 from apothecary and nanner bear are the two staples in my diet with a handful of others to mix it up.
This month I'm vapin heavy on the work of some diy buddies that have been kind enough to hook it up for the tasting. I have some full sample lines to dive through and discover from, which I'm pretty excited about.
Also still need to build a mixing station in my tiny cabin. Been too busy to mix anything but recipes lately
Been working on a couple of recipes. An Elderflower/Cucumber/Melon mix that's proved tricky (but the last iteration seemed to be going in the right direction) and a hibiscus/apple/pomegranate that I'm really close to done with (and may in fact be done with, I can't decide if it needs something else or not). I also took a shot at a jasmine/apricot/tea but I'm not sure if there's real potential there...the first batch was not good.
