whats the best way to add menthol into my juice? i was really looking forward to the ice hits and can't afford to order them again.
Buy menthol crystals. Some online vape stores carry them. Otherwise lepidopterists (butterfly collectors) use it to kill butterflies (have no idea where they get it from though).
Mix said crystals with pure propylene glycol (PG). Simply fill a bottle with as many crystals as will fit and pour over the PG. Shake the bottle and wait until all crystals have dissolved (a warm water bath helps as well). Be careful though, if you get crystal dust in you eyes or accidentally inhale them you are going to be in a world of hurt.
Note: Menthol does not dissolve readily in water but very readily in PG.
Dosage: 50-100 drops per 60 ml.
DISCLOSURE: I smoke nothing but 50/50 VG/PG and menthol. :)

This is disappointing. I was about to go snort some lines of menthol crystals.
Ok whatever floats your boat, good on you, but that just seems... Wierd?
Get menthol crystals. I use 1g dissolved in 9g of PG to make a 10% menthol solution. Use a glass bottle to mix the 10% because you'll need to immerse it in a hot water bath till the crystals dissolve and using plastic is a very bad idea. I use the solution at 10% in my DIYs to replicate some Malaysian cooling juices but I'd recommend starting out at 8-9% just to play safe.
For menthol, just buy menthol crystals and dissolve them in PG. If you're a submoron who uses "menthol" when "cooling agent" is correct, a blend of WS-23 and FA Polar Blast is best.
I buy PG and put the crystals in and they dissolve on their own?
>If you're a submoron who uses "menthol" when "cooling agent" is correct
What does this mean?
Menthol is a specific cooling agent that tastes of mint. The other cooling agents (menthyl lactate, WS-3 - aka koolada, WS-5, and WS-23) are NOT menthol and it takes a 'special' (in a short bus way) individual to refer to them as menthol. But there's unfortunately a number of such.
And yes, menthol crystal will dissolve in PG. Agitation and/or heat will accelerate the process.
juthinc at it again, hating like always. :D
Actually, I like menthol and other cooling agents. However, it makes zero sense to try to use a unique member of a class as a generic term for the class. Menthol is the only cooling agent that tastes minty. Using 'menthol' means you're talking about cooling and mint together. Tl;dr - if it's wrong to hate stupidity, I plead guilty.
