Quest for perfect cola
submitted about 7 years ago by W8_4U

I'm trying to mix a very basic Coca-cola soda. However this flavor is known to be hard to recreate. Every cola flavoring I tried so far on it's own was rather disappointing, so I would love to hear your opinion on best combo.

After researching ATF, were discovered further combinations of aroma, being used to create basic cola taste (most popular on top):

" Wolf Cola "

|%|(MFG) Flavor| |:-|:-| |1.5%|(DF)Ice -- Original| |1%|(INW)Marzipan| |0.13%|(FLV)Rich Cinnamon| |4%|(FA)Usa Pleasure (cola)|

" Cola Cola "

|%|(MFG) Flavor| |:-|:-| |1.2%|(RF)Soda Base – Super Concentrate| |3%|(FA)USA Pleasure (Cola)| |0.75%|(OTHR)WS-23|

" Cherry Cola " (without cherry)

|%|(MFG) Flavor| |:-|:-| |6%|(FW)Cola| |3%|(TPA)Cola Syrup| |1%|(TPA)Koolada 10 Pg| |1%|(CAP)Super Sweet|

" Raspberry Rose Cola " (without raspberry and rose)

|%|(MFG) Flavor| |:-|:-| |1.4%|(VT)Cherry Cola| |4%|(VT)Cola| |0.5%|(VT)RB Energy Drink| |0.8%|(VT)Sweet Mate| |0.1%|(VT)WS-23 Cooling Agent 10%|

It seems that recipe should contain:

Cola flavoring-

either (FA)Usa Pleasure (cola) 4% or,

(FA)Usa Pleasure (cola) 3% + (RF)Soda Base – Super Concentrate 1.2% or,

(FW)Cola 6% + (TPA)Cola Syrup 3% or,

(VT)Cola 4% +(VT)Cherry Cola 1.4% + (VT)RB Energy Drink 0.5%,

(kind redditor u/SophisticatedHack also suggested)

(LB) Cola Freeze 4% + (FA) Cola 1%.

+Some form of cooling agent and sweetener.

Would appreciate any suggestions on choosing right flavorings and proportions.

Edit:

Thanks you guys for heads ups, I'm ordering aromas tomorrow, they will arrive in a week and then mixed juice will have to age 5-7 days. If something good comes out of it, I would add it hear in about two-three (long long) weeks.

Fa cola is considered the best I think. Vape train fizzy sherbet could add some fizz but it has a lemon lime vibe , some people use champagne for a fizz effect. Fa cola is pretty good by itself with some ws23. That's all I got on colas.

I've tried a few and to me, nothing beats INW Cola (E-flavour, NOT WG, always came in a glass bottle, red label).

I like it as is, with a smidge of cactus to make it a bit less "dry". You could also add a bit of WS-23 to give it a chill

This is a worthy and important Quest wise adventurer. I wish thee success and riches beyond reason.

Steeping in my cool dark cupboard I have 3 new concoctions based on 3 mysterious elixirs... MB Fizzy Cola, VT Cola, and INW Cola. As the moon is my lamp, I shall inform you of my success or failure. Take luck friend~

Mind if I ask where you procured VT and INW Cola? I generally buy from bullcityflavors but they carry neither

I can get VT straight from the source as I live in Australia. Fast delivery, nice packaging, good prices. I am now a fan. The INW Cola from SydneyVapour.

Turns out they were 3 pretty average colas. I've just received FA Cola so will start messing with that.

I think hangsen does 'red cola' and 'blue cola'. It's pretty obvious which is supposed to be like coke. How accurate it is... hard to say.

ISTR seeing suggestions of adding a tiny bit of cinnamon to one of the cola concentrates to make it more like coke, but I can't recall which brand/flavor name for the cola or cinnamon, but maybe it'll jog someone else's memory?

I haven't tasted it but i'm assuming that hangsens "blue cola" is pepsi blue, which tastes a bit different than regular pepsi

Pepsi cans are blue. Coke cans are red.

Never over think HS flavor names.

I like to mix 3% FA Cola with 5% CAP Cola to fill it out. Haven't tried the others besides TFAs, which I was not a fan of.

Also, is sweet mate sucralose?
