Current and all time favorite:

Brigade 2506

  • 2.5% INW Black for Pipe
  • 2% INW Tobacco Absolute Cuban Cigar
  • 1% INW DNB

Another old favorite:

The Duke Clone

  • 3% FE Hongtashan
  • 2% FA Caramel
  • 2% INW Tobacco Symphony
  • 1.5% TFA Acetyl Pyrazine 5%

Trying to clone that is what got me in to diy in the first place, so I went wild on that one when I figured it out.

<3 DNB. I'd been looking for it ever since I had Captivape's Royale (i think? it was def captivape <3 /u/redoc ).

People don't get it when I tell them it tastes like licking an ashtray, but in a good way.

The first juice I tried that made me think "maybe I could actually quit smoking with this" tasted like licking an ashtray while sucking on a used coffee filter, but in a good way

I was vaping more for feel than tastes, to be honest. I ended up going with cherry cola, oddly enough.

Still the same answer as last time this thread came up.

/u/project_twenty5oh1's Polar/Nanner Bear clone

6.0% TFA DK Base
5.0% TFA Banana Cream
3.0% TFA Banana Nut Bread
1.0% TFA Bananas Foster
3.0% TFA Peanut Butter
0.3% TFA Koolada
0.2% TFA Coconut Extra
0.3% TFA Smooth
1.0% Strong Mint/Menthol Concentrate

Read the thread linked above as the notes are important (although I don't bother with the steeping regime, it's fine as is IMO).

This is one thing I always always ALWAYS have on hand. I cut the TFA Banana Cream to 4% and add 1% LA Banana Cream though, and I half the menthol. Best mix ever.

I like Apricaught me Slippin' a lot...the fruit is just enough to enhance the flavor a bit but not overwhelm.

by isuamadogabout 7 years ago

Actually just got the apricot on Saturday to try this!

by JohannesVanDerWhalesabout 7 years ago

It's good stuff, but I do recommend the full steep time.

Damn! I actually hadn’t noticed that. Good thing you pointed it out. Looks like I’ll make a bigger batch and just have a wild mid August.

Looks good. Maybe less Bavarian for me and some vanilla.

by kuri_sanTouabout 7 years agoDiketones, Schmiketones

I steep for a month. also, I think there's vanilla in the RY4

by CrusaderFrostabout 7 years ago

There is, just not enough for me. Usually add another .5%-1%. Sounds good after a month will have to mix some up.

The Menthol Cigarette sounds good. I like the fact that it's a shake and vape. I don't like 50/50 mixes though. Have you ever tried mixing this with more VG?

70/30, i'm sure it would taste just as great. feel free to leave some notes if you want, hope you like it!

Southerner by /u/kopel is pretty legit, although I prefer it with 2.75% Burley and 1.5% Cured/1.5% Kentucky. The Burley gets too chocolate/peanut buttery for me.

Legend is another one of my favorites if you enjoy a touch of fruit and a lighter tobacco.

Tinted Limo is a richer creamier tobacco that steeps forever. Dabble with your new/old Ducat or leave it out, it's up to you.

Stag Night is a classic for me, it's not overly tobacco forward per se, but it is a nice mellow mix without fruit or cream if you're looking to change it up.

I've got a dozen + in a constant rotation, but my top 6 are:

A simple mix of 4% FLV Red Burley and .75% INW DNB, thanks to u/ChemicalBurnVictim for that, and the next two.

Native GOD

American Politics

Then Nanner Bear Clone by u/project_twenty5oh1

The last two are mine, and I go through a ton of them.

RYDark

And

Coffee in the Shade

I've been vaping on Reminscent somethin' fierce lately, Hella good. 3 ingredients.

Pipa Del Abuelo, brigade 2506, both by cbv are delicious too.

I feel like a cuck by adding my own recipe into this thread, but the other comments already hit on my other tobacco favourites. If you like weird profiles, I'd check this out, it's wonky and fun.

IPA Smoke

I would have to say Burley Boiz, or however your hipster self spelled it, was one you should shill like a cuck ;) very good mix.

by matthewkocandaabout 7 years agoGrilled Stick

Thanks homie! I need to mix another bottle of that soon, it's been a minute. I've been burnt out on tobaccos lately. It's been like, a solid 3 months straight of just bacco development, but now I'm wanting some burley boiz hahaha.

Probably not as exciting as others, but I really like fear's Arctic Queen, mint cigarette-type, as well as Goofy's Juice, a simple TPA RY4 double mix and it's classier cousin, Cardinal by fear

perhaps a low effort post leading to a fantastic list of recipes! I'm currently in love with many favorite concentrates more than actual recipes. moved from flv native to dark for pipe, now im chasing the chocolate notes in connecticut shade for low watt mtl and exploring the red burley.

as for recipes, many of the ones previously mentioned (cardinal, brigade, native god) but I'm going nuts right now over gold, and sweet leaf

just got in lovage and yakima hops. dying to try hop spit but will have to wait a month for the steep!

1 points

by amouthforwarabout 7 years ago

I'm loving Gold right now too. Tasty stuff but a bit sweeter than I expected. Still chain vapeable though!

2 points

by isuamadogabout 7 years ago

I think I have the new ducat but it seems just fine to me. The sweetness is actually a pleasant change from the dirtier and darker tobaccos is been having.

2 points

by amouthforwarabout 7 years ago

I've got both, the old ducat is much sweeter but it kinda muddles out some of the side notes. They're both delicious, but the new one is a bit dryer and you get more smokiness and woodsy sort of vibes rather than the fruitier notes of the old ducat.

I love 'em both though, gold ducat is by far my favorite tobacco concentrate of all time.

FA Maxx is very chocolatey IMO. Here is a simple recipe to showcase it: https://i.imgur.com/wJLUJmu.png
