As always, the purpose of this thread is to gather the community to explore a category of flavor and its many uses. And it's also to have FUN!
Post recipes containing this week's Flavor of the Week, as the star or in a supporting role, with or without development notes. Talk about other people's recipes that use it. Compare and contrast different manufacturers' versions of the FOTW. Ask for help using that flavor in general or to achieve something specific, offer advice, brainstorm ideas, consider substitutions, suggest pairings... really anything at all as long as it's on topic.
#This week's flavor is: CRANBERRY
How did that get to be the FOTW?
It was requested. If you're not interested in this FOTW, please take this opportunity and comment to request one that interests you (or send me a PM to do that).
Past FOTW posts can be found here
The NOTED podcasts, which are bascially video FOTWs, are listed on this sheet, maintained by /u/apexified

Edit: added Cranberry Guide
I noticed that everyone seemed to like the addition of links to the general discussion thread. Shouldn't FOTW have some too? I find myself rummaging through older FOTW threads, Flavor Reviews, and Recipe Threads all the time. It would be nice if somehow they were linked together - to make a one-stop-shop for research.
Maybe something like this . . .

This is a terrific idea. Anybody want to volunteer to do this every week?
I can do it. But what info should be included? This list is a "off the top of my head" attempt. I think there should be a link the the NOTED episode (when it's available). And maybe if any really good recipes pop up during the discussion, they should have their own link added to the list. Can you think of any other useful info to include?
This off the top of your head attempt is a great one.
Noted episodes are listed in the link by Apex that’s already provided and recipes that pop up during discussion are in the comments... if you’re looking at an FOTW thread, you’re there for the comments anyway. The only weakness I see in what you’ve put together is that it depends on “cranberry” being in the name of the recipes, but what are you gonna do, go through every flavor and list every recipe? That’s insane. It’s still a good resource and an excellent kickstart to the FOTW discussion thread. See my edit to this post.
Wow, you really went for it with that title lmao
Hopefully it's not too offensive to people whose accents make them actually pronounce can barely like "cranberry"
Cranberry and grape? Yummy
Grape Balls O’ Fire FA Fuji Apple 4.5% TPA Cotton Candy. 2% TPA Cranberry 7% FLV Grape 2% TPA Grape Juice. 1.5%
I wanted a “Juice” type vape, and liked Ocean Spray Cranberry Grape. So, I had a mission.
Getting the right mix of Cran and Grape was tough, but the mix of TPA Cran, FLV Grape (love that shit!!!) and TPA Grape was the trinity needed. TPA Cran - Musky, fruity and the right mix between sweet and tart. More of a juice than a true cranberry. FLV Grape- Love this stuff. Not quite a juice, not quite a candy... just all around solid grape taste that you will recognize but not pinpoint. TPA Grape Juice- More like a popsicle flavor / candy flavor. Used it to sweeten the Cran/FLV Grape mix slightly. Fuji- adds the right amount of juicy / sweet flavor. Apple Juice is in most juice drinks because it is so cheap. Making a juice vape? Add Fuji! Cotton Candy - Used to juice the sweetness a little more, but mostly to blend the flavors into a juice taste.
Enjoy!
For cranberry cider
Cranberry cap
Fuji apple
Liquid amber
Not sure i'd eat a Fujitsu apple.
I just ordered FLV Cranberry from BCF sale.....any opinions on flavours to compliment it?
Lots of things!
First and foremost: Raspberry & White Chocolate. Mmmm, so good.
Second: Lemon-Lime.
Third: Brie Cheese and more Brie Cheese and wow /u/slashalo likes FLV Cranberry a lot, apparently, these are all Shasha Cranberry pairings:
/u/mlnikon too:
And there are other examples of nutty things with it:
And more Orange and Bakery
Another white chocolate example
And you could always go the adult beverage route with orange and peach. Or maybe some grapefruit?
