Good green apple flavouring/Recipe?
submitted over 7 years ago by julienbarth

When I first got into mixing ejuice I just wanted to make a Green Apple Eliquid, with kinda the sour candy notes to it. I went with Tfa Apple Candy as it matched my description the most. It smelt decent, although when you vaped it, it tastes like nothing but SOAP! Ruined every coil aswell as the soap taste did not disappear. Pretty disappointed with it Lol. I’ve recently bought Fuji Apple and it is a great Apple but not really a ‘green’ Apple. Any flavour recommendations or recipes are greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

Haha I think I’ll have to take your advice due to being the winner of the world mixing championship. Any idea on percentages?

I've been waiting for 5 years now and we will probably have to wait another 5 until somebody gets it right.

I tweaked Wayne's Reds Apple Juice recipe and blasted through 20ml today and love it way more than his, although he didn't aim to clone it just to get the profile down. I bought CAP's Green Apple just for it which I'm fine with because Cap's Fuji and the Green Apple doesn't taste like paint (FW/LB/TFA) or throat razor FA Fuji.

He didn't link it on ATF but I'm 95% sure it was this:

  • 5% CAP Fuji Apple

  • 3% CAP Double Apple

  • 1.5% Inw Two Apples

And per usual he blasted it his go to CAP SS probably at .5 to 1%

I dropped the INW by .5%, added 1% CAP Green Apple along with FW sweetener at .20

  • Sweeteners - TPA is 5% Maltol/5% Sucralose | FW is 10% Sucralose | Capella is 20% Sucralose

I thought it was great and the green apple made it a lot better and I'm going to play around with it more because it was my favorite apple mix I've ever had. The green apple flavor was too forward to be a 1:1 clone of Reds which does use CAP's Green Apple and not sickening sweet as theirs either which is actually an awesome juice and my favorite apple I've ever bought but I liked this better.

You can play round with it a lot to your liking but I'm going to mix it again using the original INW at 1.5% & what would a mix be without some WS-23.

Then drop the sweetener and try to work in a low % of dragon fruit and or FA Marshmallow which maybe people here could help on that because I'm not versed on using them with apples.

I have an embarrassing amount of Apples, especially Green, but this makes me want to get FLV's sour apple with this being an open canvas. INW natural mint would be awesome and I'm going to try to work Anise/Absinthe in there too.

Tweak the %'s a bit then add some Jungle Flavors Dulce de Leche + LB Ice Cream or Shisha Vaniila + Liquid Amber - sounds good to me. I better stop before I make 20 different testers.

I've played with FW, CAP, and TPA Green Apple in mixes. FW is my favorite. CAP is a touch soapy, and TPA is really perfumey. Mixing apple with pear is commonly recommended but can easily take you to shampoo town.

Same here.

FW's is my favourite but I after vaping a lot of it I get this shitty astringent green apple skin taste in my mouth. I spent a night vaping it once and woke up the next morning and could still taste it.

Maybe playing around with percentage could fix that but after that incident I really didn't bother going back to find out.

ISTR there was a decent combo from FA Fuji and one of the INW apples. I think it was Anton?

Yep, Anton + Fuji is the combo people use.

TFA Apple Candy is some terrible shit. I ruined a coil or two with it, at the start of my DIY voyage.

fw green apple is a very candied green apple and flv sour apple as id10-t mentioned is really good tart sour candied apple.

I’m in Canada. Last time I ordered flavourings from the states it was stopped at the border for 2 weeks for inspection to see if there was any nicotine in the package. Sorry I have to decline, but thanks for the offer, really appreciate it!!!

Two weeks, that's insane. Generally they should ask for the MSDS Safety Sheets to clear that up. Hope you find something without the hassle this time.
