Does anyone make drinks with flavors?
submitted over 7 years ago by -inari

So, I haven't vaped for a few years, but when I did I used to make a lot of my own juice. I started wondering this morning if you could make drinks, specifically LaCroix-like flavored water, with all the wonderful flavorings available. Has anyone tried this?

I once made a unicorn milk milkshake with some UM one shot I had made up, it was delicious.

I've been thinking of doing it with some key lime pie at some point but I want to booze it up somehow...

Pretty sure that is what capella started out as, a water flavoring additive.

Since this turned into a keto thread, I will add that I made this ice cream recipe. It is great with frozen berries like raspberries and strawberries but you can skip them and add your flavourings. I did one with FW Lemon Meringue pie,FA lemon sicily and some lemon zest and another one with 85% dark chocolate pieces and FW candy cane and Cap Cool mint. They were both great.

Yeah you can. It's all food safe. I've heard that you can make some pretty good drinks with vodka + water + flavoring.

Definitely something I'm gonna try when my first flavors arrive tomorrow.

yup, I mix them in unflavored protein shakes. They are food flavorings so go bananas (or grapes or choco glazed doughnuts) with them.

Shouldn't be a problem as most flavorings were intended for foods and not vaping.

Since I started keto, I use a lot of flavors. Mostly for coffee though.

I am also Keto. Do you use any sweeteners? Do you know if there are ones to avoid?

Erythritol and Stevia are perfect for Keto.

Especially if you’re sensitive to sucralose. I find it disgusting, can’t eat/drink/vape anything containing it.

I can barely taste erythritol however. Just the sweetness.

Gotta be careful, because some erythritol products still contain a small amount of sugar or sugar alcohols (some SA’s still metabolize like sugar, count towards your total carb count and give you the shits real bad)

Usually I use sugar free Torini coffee syrup with heavy whipping cream. I also use sugar free coffee mate. Carbs are pretty low on sugar free coffee mate. 2grams per TBSP. Although I usually just through some butter and blend my coffee with that and add a little heavy whipping cream and stevia. I was that guy who doesn't like black coffee at all either.

Most vape flavors are sugar free, the ones that aren't usually specify. We've also used fruit flavors for shakes too, keto friendly shakes.

You put butter in your coffee?

As far sweeteners I use stevia based stuff, which ironically is not pure stevia. Its always mixed with either maltodextrin or erythitol. Usually I use swerve for baking. I'd say usually erythitol though.

5-10 drops of FA Lime Tahiti cold pressed is great with whiskey poured over it. Too much more and it tastes like waxy fruit loops.

I put a few drops of tfa watermelon in my water bottle occasionally, it's actually hella good :)

Some hazelnut or cinnamon ceylon in my coffee too

What % /Number of Drops / grams do you use?

I have been thinking about trying it but wasn't sure if a 10ml bottle would flavour much especially when I think about how much I add for a 30ml bottle of e-juice.

I have tried adding a few drops of flavoring on sparkling water. Just as a way to use flavors I bought which I found later had fructose on them. So, this far I've used FW Hawaiian Limeade and FW Yumberry. Just add a couple ice cubes, a few drops, and pour sparkling water. Not bad.

I use my unused flavors to flavor my cold brew. Pretty cool way of adding flavor without sugar as well as avoiding the fucking mio flavoring shit.

Same here. Since 90% of the time I vape bakery / dessert type recipes, I always have plenty of great flavors to add to my cold brew coffee.

My sister gave me a soda stream for christmas last year and the amount of different sodas I can come up with that are sugar free is mind boggling. Its 100% worth it and makes it worth it to buy larger sizes of flavoring for mixing and drinking.

One time I had a sixer of Coronas and no lime in the fridge. So I grabbed my FA cold pressed lime and squirted some in the bottle. It was pretty good. I also add drops of FW Hazelnut in my coffe every once in a while.

Hazelnut is pretty good in coffee.
