Weekly 'Suggest a Recipe for my Flavors' Thread - Week of June 22, 2018
submitted over 7 years ago by AutoModeratorBootylicious

Got a bunch of flavors but not sure how to make them work together? Post your list here, and our team of semi-professional mixologists will make suggestions for you! Don't forget to include manufacturers' names for all of your concentrates, and make your list easier to read by using bullet points or at least listing each of your flavors on a new line by hitting return twice after each flavor.

There is also a few resources in the sidebar where you can register a free account, input your flavors, sort by rating, and either mix something up or be inspired to make something with your ingredients.

Happy Mixing!

  • Swedish Gummy (TPA)
  • Sweetener (Sucralose/Maltol) (TPA)

  • Watermelon Candy (TPA)

I've mostly made a lot of fruity recipes. I'm trying to make a sweet and sour strawberry gummy recipe, but it's still got a long way to go. I'd like to try something different with glazed donut or maybe crunch cereal to mix things up. I'm about to order a bunch of cream/vanilla flavors and some Cheesecake Graham Crust (TFA) too.

I would try

Crunch berry TFA 5%

Vanilla bean ice cream cap 4%

Strawberry ripe TFA 3%

Blueberry wild TFA 3%

Steep for at least a week and maybe add some sweetener if that's your thing.

Good luck!

Yes.... I LOVE mango juice. I even have probably 10 or so more mangos than these, like JF, FW, LA, RF, INW.. they just aren't any good. Been playing around trying to get the ratios right, but I keep suffering from overcrowding due to trying to fit in all the good aspects from all the various concentrates. *PS: how do you get your list to stay vertically spread out without putting an extra line spacing in between each item?

•REK Sexy Mango

•REK Sparkling Mango

•CAP Sweet Mango

•FLV Mango

•FA Mango

•VT Shisha Mango

•SC Mango

•HS Mango

•HC Malaysia Mango

•PUR Mango

•LA Banana Cream

•FW Blood Orange (Natural)

Thanks for tagging me to this porn I am fully erect now after reading that. But I’m also unsure what /u/DreadPirateSnuffles is asking. Suggest any recipe that uses these flavors, regardless of the other ingredients?

2 points

by DreadPirateSnufflesover 7 years ago

Haha sorry about that. I recognize that what mangos youd select would be determined by what type of recipe you were shooting for and what other concentrates you were using, but I suppose if I wanted to make a mango prominent juice, what's a good combination of these? I've been enjoying adding LA Banana Cream and FW Blood Orange, so those would probably be the other ingredients, but id like the mango to be the main note. And all these concentrates have some useful qualities to them, so ive been trying to fit them all in, resulting in overcrowding

This is like me and watermelon. Haha. I have many but can’t find a good recipe I really, really like yet.

Here’s a MangoBerry I am vaping right now I came up with a few days ago and am really liking, if you have the flavors for it.

  • 2.5% FA Forest Fruit
  • 2.5% CAP Sweet Mango
  • .75% INW Grape
  • .25% FE Lemon (Or a low percentage of a lemon you like, just as a boost)
  • .2-.4% Koolada if you prefer

It doesn’t need sweetener IMO. If you don’t have those flavors, let me know what you do have and I can try to swap them out for you.

It’s Main note is a nice sweet mango, with the lemon boosting it and helping out the acidity. Really helps the brightness of the mango too. The lemon isn’t really part of the profile.

I would say the secondary note is the berry. BlackBerry, Grape and maybe a hint of blueberry are the main berry notes for me. I really like koolada in this one. (=

60% Mango 40% Berry I would say (=

by DreadPirateSnufflesover 7 years ago

I do have all of those, minus FE Lemon but I have a few other lemons. I'll have to try it out! I could see adding a bit of FLV Mango to that being nice as well, as I like my mangos super filled out and full, and CAP is good but top-heavy. Have you tried DIYORDIE's Water-Malone recipe? I personally love it and by all accounts it's one of the best watermelon recipes out there. I like to take it and drop it down to a lower % and add it's as it's own watermelon portion for recipes I make that I'd like watermelon in

1 points

by Champagneshallowover 7 years ago

Let me know how you like it!

That’s one I’m going to try! I just need CAP Double Apple to be able to mix it. Thanks

Edit: Just be sure not to add too much lemon

Hi! Wanted help with a recipe but first wanted to share one I mixed up a few days ago and is one of my favorites right now.

  • 2.5% FA Forest Fruit
  • 2.5% CAP Sweet Mango
  • .75% INW Grape
  • .25% FE Lemon (Or a low percentage of a lemon you like, just as a boost)
  • .2-.4% Koolada if you prefer

So, I am needing help getting a good watermelon recipe down! I have made many, and u/Vurve makes a great BX Vapor Watermelon crack clone, however I would say that’s a little different than watermelon as a primary note.

I am trying to make a not overly sweet watermelon, juicy and one that has a full watermelon flavor. Always seems to be a weak flavor for me. Can’t seem to replicate what I used to buy in stores. “Simply Watermelon” From Naked100 was one of my favorites.

Here are my relevant flavorings:

CAP Double Watermelon CAP Sweet Watermelon FA Red Summer Watermelon LA Watermelon FW Watermelon RF SC Watermelon TFA Watermelon FLV Wild Melon INW Melon CAP Sweet Strawberry INW Strawberry Shisha TFA Strawberry Ripe TFA Raspberry Sweet FA Forest Fruit TFA Double Kiwi TFA Dragon Fruit INW Grape FW Hard Candy FA Lemon Sicily FE Lemon FA Marshmallow

Very much appreciate any help!

TDLR: Help me find a nice somewhat realistic full flavor watermelon E liquid.

So, I'm quite familiar with a lot of the Naked100 flavors, though I've not tried Simply Watermelon in particular. Almost every single one of their juices seems to have a hint of D/A/AP in it. While this would be disgusting at a even a low percentage, I think they are adding just enough to add a fullness to the fruit flavors. I've not actively tried to clone one yet, but taken potshots at their profiles when doing random mixes. Not even close with fruit flavors alone. Hope you extract something out of this. Good luck.

by Champagneshallowover 7 years ago

Yo thanks so much Vurve!! I am going to try this out. It is from the "Simply Fruit" line. Made by the same company that makes naked 100, so not sure if its just affiliated or they make it, but it was damn good!

Going to do some research and maybe order some of that on my next flavoring order.

I like the flavor I get from my watermelons, just can't seem to get a strong enough flavor for my liking.

Thanks again, will let you know how it goes! (:

Edit: is there a certain additive you would use or recommend? Going to research regardless.

It's really hard to say because I have a hard time describing that unusual, yet pleasant, flavor as anything but fulfillingly umami. I could also be completely wrong ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have a pretty good one I use for the mango.

6% TPA cantaloupe 6% TPA honeydew 4.5% TPA mango 1.5% TPA cucumber

For the vanilla swirl and possibly the strawberry/blueberry try this recipe:

6% blueberry wild TPA 6% strawberry ripe TPA 3% peach juicy TPA 3% vanilla swirl TPA

You can try substituting for the flavorah flavorants. Let me know how you make out.

Cheers

A little dragonfruit and orange cream will probably help a lot, something like 3% FLV Mango, 1.5% Orange Cream, 1% Dragonfruit + your creams + steeping for about 10 days.

...might be weird but I've request for the tobacconists out here: suggest flavors for my recipe-to-be 😂

I've had a bit of a pm convo going with CBV on tobacco stuff but this is my 2nd time purchasing and experimenting with tobacco flavors, first real attempt at getting into it beyond from-scratch ry4s. I've got a decent amount of tobaccos stashed or en route to my house now, but I'm looking for suggestions to help get me close to cloning Marlboro Southern Cuts in ejuice form. It's been a while since I've smoked, thank God. But as far as I can recall I'm trying to capture a honey-forward, slight vanilla, dry and earthy (not leafy, more dirty side of things) cigarette with a grainy, slightly bitter finish with a nondescript nutty aftertaste. All of that while trying to avoid spice or fruit notes!

Got my work cut out for me, but if anyone has some suggestions for possible tobaccos to pick up or test for this, I'd appreciate any and all suggestions!

I've messed with tfa Western, black honey, inw gold ducat, a bit of 555 gold but still nothing has clicked yet. Gold ducat is close to what I want but I get a bit of fruit notes even when I keep it low. 555 gold has a bit of that nuttiness I'm after, but doesn't jump out as the one yknow? Tfa black honey was a bit too cloverish honey when I tested it, but will experiment more at lower % just to accent. I have also tried some others but they're not in this wheelhouse so no comments on those.

As far as additives go, considering vanilla tahity for a dry and light vanilla, maybe even tfa peanut butter for a grainy peanut finish?

Beyond that I'm lost :') more flavors to test coming soon though. I'm pretty sure I can piece together the accents with more specific flavors no problem but I still need to find that dry and earthy tobacco base to carry it all. Most of the ones I've tried have just been too leafy or too aromatic off the bat. Part of me just wants to cut my losses and use a bit of a dirtier ry4 but that seems like the cheap route :p Definitely wanna build this from the ground up.

Uh.. I don't think you'll do better than what you can get from CBV, but.. SC Honey Flue Cured with some FLV Red Burley or INW Tobacco Symphony, for a start...Maybe unholy grail for that vanilla aspect? Some AP for texture? And one of the FLV cigarette additive flavors. And INW DNB.

Remind me in a month or so... I've gotta do a bunch of SFTs on some obscure tobacco flavors I picked up...

> SC Honey Flue Cured with some FLV Red Burley or INW Tobacco Symphony

Haven't looked at SC stuff or tobacco symphony I'll check out what notes I can. Thanks for those recommendations!

I just got Red Burley in on thursday so have yet to test it but I know cbv recommended it highly. I'll mix up a tester and see how it vapes! Definitely going to use DNB for that cigarette feel.

3 points

by juthincover 7 years agoOne of "The Damned"

Note: you may want a actual honey flavor to get the honey forward. Honey Flue Cured has sweetness (and a bitter aspect that doesn't go away until about two months). Note: a honey flavor, not a cat piss flavor, so not TFA.

Looking to mix a nice DIY Flavor Shake Holy Grail juice, something akin to the Cardinal by Fear recipe that so many seem to enjoy but I dont have those tobaccos quite yet. Maybe I could sub something else to make a nice vape? My flavors are:

FA Desert Ship

SC deluxe tobacco

SC parlay

SC island tobacco

INW captain jack for pipe

HANGSEN RY4

TFA RY4D

FA Soho

Acetyl Pyrazine

INW am4a TDM

How can I make a decent strawberry kiwi with TPA kiwi double? I haven't tried it yet but what would you use?

The strawberry flavours I have are: TFA strawberry
TFA strawberry ripe
CAP sweet strawberry
FW juicy strawberry

I have ~45 other flavours but i haven't tried TFA kiwi double just yet.

You might have some luck with RF Strawberry. At 2% it has this really nice almost strawberry syrup note. It plays well with a lot of stuff.

I'd rather not buy any more flavours, I'm on a tight budget and have enough flavours as it is.

2 points

by SteepingTakesTimeover 7 years agoYellow Cake Apologist

Totally understandable. Out of what you listed, CAP Sweet Strawberry is probably my favorite with Strawberry Ripe just behind it. I don't have Juicy Strawberry in my inventory, so unfortunately I don't have much to tell you for that.

Have you tried doing a mix of the strawberries you have? Maybe like 5-6% strawberry ripe with 1-2% Sweet Strawberry. The thing about strawberry is they all seem to be missing something. They often need supporting flavors to really pop.

If you have TFA Dragonfruit that would be a good supporting note for the Strawberries. Just keep the percentage very low. Like <1%. I've also found some raspberries and orange flavorings can bring in some mild bitterness that really takes it to another level.

1 points

Do you have any of the strawberry flavours I listed? I haven't tried FW juicy strawberry or TFA kiwi double.

All TFA:

Strawberry ripe
Dragonfruit
Bavarian cream
Vanilla swirl
Peach juicy
Mango
Raspberry
Blueberry extra

I just ordered all the stuff to mix my first juices and I got the flavors to make Mother of Dragons Milk and a fruit flavor I saw posted here without a name, so I'm just seeing if there is anything else decent I can make with the flavors I have now. Thanks in advance!

4 points

by omgcomeonidiotover 7 years ago

I didn't know about this feature for a long time on alltheflavors.com.

Go to Flavors. Search your flavors and hit the checkbox on the right side. Checked = Have. If there's multiple flavor entries for the same flavor that you have, check them all.

Then go to Menu then What Can I Make. Voila.

If you hit the filter box and scroll down to the What Can I Make section, there is a +1 and +2 option. This will show you everything you can make even if you are missing 1 or 2 ingredients. Maybe you have a suitable substitute that can work for you, maybe it'll inspire you to go buy more flavorings, maybe it's an ingredient you don't want anyways and can mix without it and still have it taste good. Look through both. It's a good learning experience.
