After more than 5 years of vaping I was tireing of mixing & steeping 5,6 or more recipes to have another rotation. When smoking analogs, there was one switch Winston to Marlboro Lights never wanting a different brand ?
Well a few weeks ago When ordering from OSDIY I included a RY4D, RJ4 and a OSDIY Tobacco Blend, made a little mix with the RJ4, T/A Blend and some caramel...Oh Shit I'm going down the Tobacco Rabbit Hole! with high hopes of finding some stable recipes. u/ChemicalBurnVictim has been a Gold mine of information with reviews and links to other fantastic mixers & reviewers so after reading for days I made late one night an order to VAPERSTEK. as they seem to have the hard to find INW flavors. In bed watching TV is not good I missed two from there- the Gold for Pipe and the Tobacco Absolute Cuban Cigar ahhh... next time. On the other side I got a Big bottle of Black for Pipe with Desert Voyager (WG), Tobacco Gold Ducat, Tobacco C, Tobacco Oriental, Dark for Pipe so that'll get me into a couple by u/wh1skeyk1ng & u/perennialphilosopher. I just want to thank you guys for what you've done with this subject online. You've renewed my interest in Vaping / mixing and the elusive Master Mix. This is going to be fun.
If you wanna continue on the tobacco rabbit hole, get yourself some stixxmixx and try out flavorah's tobaccos. Pretty good too! :D (I've yet to try the for pipes tho, perhaps that's on my next order list)

I'm very familiar with stixx's line. They're all very good and very authentic. And they will absolutely turn your atomizer into a pit of despair in under 24 hours. All NETs and tobacco absolutes do this. FLV and FA tobaccos are slightly less bad, but still a bit rough.
Damn it, typed up a long comment, but apparently when I hit send it shot straight out to space. To summarize: I’m glad that people find my stuff informational. Work got crazy at the beginning of the year, but it’s slowing down now, so hopefully I’ll have time to put some more things out there.
When you get the Gold for Pipe, try it out with Gold Ducat. It’s a great combo.

Chem and others have been a huge resource to me. When I get bored of my usual mixes I always turn to tobaccos. It really is a rabbithole of so many different profiles and approaches.
I still really want to make a vape version for Marlboro southern cuts, which is kinda my white whale but mixing up some experimental stuff on the side is super fun in the meantime
The only tobacco I ever liked was black honey, try to find some of that. I won't vape tobacco flavors now, something switched in my brain and I don't even want to taste it anymore hah.
TPA Black Honey? It's on my list! Funny how mine has switched toward tobacco....Did you have a mix or straight?
It's not that odd. I avoided tobaccos for a while when I started out, going with the philosophy of making sure vaping was more appealing on taste.
It's actually all the fault of /u/chemicalburnvictim that I got into tobaccos... his recipes for a long time were the only ones being posted that weren't repulsive, so in the interest of trying to try recipes from someone other than myself, I figured I'd need to try tobaccos. And once I tried them, I was shocked at just how versatile and complex they can be. It's a very easy obsession to develop.
