These are my PERSONAL experiences and may differ with yours.
Hello, it's been a while since I've learned Diy and have been searching Canadian vendor because here. Prices are a lot more than in the US. Every time someone ask for Canadian vendor, I check suggestion and never find these two. So, I'm gonna share my personal review on these two.
The first one: Vape29
Vape29 isn't much a DIY vendor but they sell base (any ratio, pure PG and pure VG, also, nic base). My go to was that they have free shipping on pretty much anything. I bought 1L of VG on this site and it cost 21$ in total so if you are trying to find cheap VG this site may be for you. Also, I had some issues with payments but their incredible support helped me and fixed every issue. They are awesome. •payments: credit card or EMT •shipping: free •shipping time: 1-2 week max
The second one: Jeancloudvape
This one, is really underrated. They sell shop ejuice, hardware but also a lot of DIY products; flavor, base, nicotine, bottles, supplies. I've bough 5 flavours and haven't gotten any problems. Their prices are low and shipping starts at 5$ if you buy low quantity. The shipping was fast since it's inside Canada. Also, I really like how their website is made: beautiful and well based.
FOR ME: I've checked prices on many website and found that this one was the cheapest on nicotine. Their nicotine is NicSelect and it's around 45$ for 60mL, 100mg including the shipping and taxes. They also sell Salt Nicotine. •payments: credit card, PayPal, EMT •shipping: start at 5$, Free shipping: Québec: over 79,90$ Ontario and New-Brunswick: over 89,90$ Other provinces: over 99,90$ •shipping time: the shipping time is also fast but I don't remember the exact time since it's been a while that I bough flavours.
Thanks for ready this and I hope theses vendors will get more visibility for Canadian buyers. Also, you can share your personal experiences with theses vendor. If you have any question, ask them in comments section.
Good write-up, Canadian vendors seldom get any recognition here so it's good the raise some awareness of the options that are out there. I want to give a shout out to Paragon Flavours as well, I used to exclusively shop at DIYejuice but since discovering Paragon I always check to see if they carry a particular flavour before going through DIYejuice. The prices are better, and they frequently have awesome sales going on.. for instance their father's day sale is 20% off the entire site. Sale ends Sunday at midnight apparently. They also have free shipping over $75 which is pretty damn great if you ask me.
Jean Cloud Vapes isn't really in canada, tho... it's in Quebec. If you want a good shop from there, you need Best Glycol. Poor selection (they don't carry FA, INW or FLV, just CAP, TFA, FW and a few in-house flavors) but prices are excellent on the flavors they carry and bases are reasonable. Free shipping starts at $100 iirc, but there is a weight limit so a gallon of VG means you pay for shipping.
Fusionflavors is reasonable. I believe I sourced PEG400 there. Again, not the best selection (common to canadian vendors). Dashvapes... I've never dealt with their online sales. Mainly because their selection isn't great (as in I already have any flavor that I'd order from them) and while they have free shipping at $35 they do build that into their prices, so not good value. Still, for a small order for a beginner... not a horrible choice. Danny (aka /u/thebrokevaper) at thebrokevaper.ca sets the gold standard for customer service. Reasonable selection if you aren't planning to go into tobacco juices, and pretty light on the INW flavors, but if you can convince him a flavor should sell well he'll try to acquire it. diy-ejuice.com is the undisputed champ for selection. They've recently reached out and claimed they're upgrading their software so hopefully soon things that are in stock won't show up as unavailable and vice versa... but they have stopped selling PDO as result of communication from DuPont. Prices aren't horrible for canada. Pretty sure they have free shipping at some threshold. And finding how to order nic from them is tricky, but it can be done (hence not linking). I'm not crazy about their customer service, but they seem to be interested in improving. Still... better to stick to them as a last choice unless you live out west. Or you really need JF Yellow Cake. Infinite vapor - the Canadian version of nude nic. Reportedly sell expired products, customer service that seems more about 'servicing' customers (without lube),.. but they do have an interesting selection. There's a few more. I know I'm forgetting a few.
Sorry, I don't mean to come off rude but you do know that Quebec is a province inside of Canada, right?
My Canada does NOT include Quebec.
(You may have missed the ever so slight tongue-in-cheek delivery in the original post. If you're at all familiar with the history of Canadian politics with regard to Quebec, you'd probably have understood.)
Thanks!
I'm going to give a shout out to coopcoco.ca
After a year of buying different VG from TFA and other places, and feeling bad intuition about dirt cheap stuff from essential depot (gmo soy) I stumbled upon this place.
99.5% vg from organic coconuts
Think I paid $150 for 25kg (5 gal pail)
Lasted me 2+ years (with sales) and the quality is well beyond anything I tried prior
Just a FYI to people considering coop coco... do NOT buy flavors from them. Most are listed as 'organic' flavoring, so unless they just mean they contain carbon, but they're trying to rip off the kind of idiot who believes "organic" is somehow a good thing... they most likely are not safe to vape. Not really a vape shop or diy supply place.
The GMO/non GMO argument is not a thing in the vaping world. It’s not even really necessary in the food world as most people who use the term don’t understand what it means, but that’s a different story for a different sub.
Organic also means absolutely nothing for this purpose. USP (or whatever the equivalent is in Canada) is USP.
