Got a bunch of flavors but not sure how to make them work together? Post your list here, and our team of semi-professional mixologists will make suggestions for you! Don't forget to include manufacturers' names for all of your concentrates, and make your list easier to read by using bullet points or at least listing each of your flavors on a new line by hitting return twice after each flavor.
There is also a few resources in the sidebar where you can register a free account, input your flavors, sort by rating, and either mix something up or be inspired to make something with your ingredients.
Happy Mixing!
So, I bought a bunch of what I consider weird flavors and I honestly can't think of anything to do with them.
FE Avocado
FE Lemon Grass
FE Oak Milk
FE Sweet Bread Crust
FE Taro
VT Avocado Cream
VT Sweet Musk
EDIT: I have a bunch more flavors. I'm mainly looking for general ideas on how they could be used or used with what.
Hopefully you have a bunch of other flavors to mix them with?
I'd do 2.5% Avocado + 3% Oak Milk. Avocado Milk.
Oh of course. Those are just the flavorings I am kinda just stumped on.
Oh, duh, I didn't check the username. You've been around for bit, of course you have a bunch of other flavors. FE Avocado and FE Oak Milk are the only two of those I've tried. Both are very sweet and have an odd but not unpleasant caramel taste to them. I'd use them in any situation where caramel might otherwise be a good choice, as long as the little bit of green top note in the Avocado and/or the creamy condensed milk flavor of Oak Milk wouldn't clash with whatever else is going on.
You could get away with doing either one with a tobacco or milkshake/ice cream. Oak Milk would also go well in a bakery but I'd be careful using Avocado in one. Sorry I can't help with those other things.
I've never mixed before. Is there another site / link which helps with the question of "what can I make"? I got the impression that there would be something in the sidebar for that question but I can't seem to find it. I have
Capella Flavors - Sweet Strawberry
Flavor Apprentice - Blueberry Wild
Flavor Apprentice - Raspberry (Sweet)
Flavor West - Sweetner
Flavour Art - Marshmallow
... So, there you go :-) What can I make? thanks for any help
Yes, there are sites where you can enter the flavors you have and it will give you recipes you can make with them, but you won't get many (if any) results with such a limited number of flavors. Luckily, you've got a collection of flavors here that will all be pretty good together mixed in just about any configuration as long as the ratios are good. If you want to mix them all together, try:
- 6% CAP Sweet Strawberry
- 2% TFA Blueberry Wild
- 1.5% FA Marshmallow
- 1.5% TFA Raspberry Sweet
- 1% FW Sweetener
If you'd rather have a juice that's just strawberry or just blueberry instead of a mixed berry like this, try:
- 6% CAP Sweet Strawberry
- 1.5% FA Marshmallow
- 1% TFA Raspberry Sweet
- 1% FW Sweetener
or
- 4% TFA Blueberry Wild
- 1% FA Marshmallow
- 1% CAP Sweet Strawberry
- 1% FW Sweetener
Or if you'd rather have just the fruit without the marshmallow flavor making them sweeter, fuller, and fluffier but also softer and not as punchy and juicy, just leave that out. If you find the sweetener too high at 1%, use less next time.
This is more of a suggest an improvement post.
I'm making a folkarts boss reserve but can't quite taste it with the low percentages. I've trying increasing just the banana cream but it tastes off and don't think that's what it's supposed to taste like.
Can I just double all the percentages?
> Can I just double all the percentages?
Yes, but instead of doubling the AP to 2% I'd probably stop at 1.5%. Some people like strong, some like weak - I completely understand. Then there's also method of vaping i.e. MTL / DTL. I say give it a try. If it's just the banana you want to boost - you could try adding FA Banana 1%.
What’s your setup? I only learned recently that some recipes need a warm vape and some shine on the lower wattage... 😩😂. Like we need more factors to complicate things right pfft 😝? Have you read the reviews? The reviews are glowing so maybe go back and start over mixing maybe and make sure you’re precise and give it the proper time to develop. If that doesn’t work then mess w your settings and try it warmer or cooler...
