Weekly 'Suggest a Recipe for my Flavors' Thread - Week of May 25, 2018
submitted over 7 years ago by AutoModerator

Got a bunch of flavors but not sure how to make them work together? Post your list here, and our team of semi-professional mixologists will make suggestions for you! Don't forget to include manufacturers' names for all of your concentrates, and make your list easier to read by using bullet points or at least listing each of your flavors on a new line by hitting return twice after each flavor.

Impatient and want to do this on your own? /u/daath has a nice website that has this functionality, but you will need to register to make it work. It is not very intuitive but if you work with it you can input your flavors and get a list of recipes that you can make. To get this to work, first set up an account. Then add your flavors to the stash (under my page / my flavor stash). Hit save. Then go back to the front page and click the link next to the search field, "Search by flavor stash." You can select a couple of your flavors and recipes that have those will pop up.

Happy Mixing!

by lNTERLINKEDover 7 years agoI did not ask for this flair.

Not sure if this belongs here, but I am trying to make a simple creamy pineapple with CAP Golden pineapple.

My first (failed) attempt was

  • CAP Golden Pineapple 3%
  • TFA VBIC 2%

It ended up being really flat and underwhelming. It tasted like VG with a hint of pineapple. I'm not sure if the VBIC muted the GP or if GP is just really weak.

For a simple creamy pineapple I wouldn't put any of the VBICs in - just try some milks/creams, maybe some cooling. u/HashSlingingSlashur wrote the following in the last Flavour of the Week - Pineapple:

INW Pineapple: more of a fresh pineapple juice, weaker than most INW stuff imo, best around 7-10% solo or at 4-5% with some CAP Golden Pineapple (1-3%).

CAP Golden Pineapple: more tart and it's got more depth to it, also very sweet. This one is tangy and above 4 or 5% too much bite for me. Like /u/wh1skeyk1ng said it's like a canned pineapple. Great paired with INW Pineapple, I hear it's good with hangsen pineapple also.

Phineapple by Highwind - nice and simple recipe, could just add some creams etc.

I would try something like

CAP Golden Pineapple 4%

TPA pineapple 2%

TPA Bavarian Cream 3%

TPA Marshmallow .05-1%

Oh I have some stuff! I recently acquired a bunch of flavors from a friend that quit vaping (first I introduced him onto it so he quit smoking, a few months later he quit it all!)

They are all TPA

DX Brown Sugar
Banana Cream
Bittersweet Chocolate
Cinnamon
DX Banana Foster
DX Jamaican Rum
Jamaican Rum
Passion Fruit
Peanut Butter
Peppermint
Pistachio
RY4 Double
Smooth
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
Vanilla Custard
Whipped Cream

Throw out the DX crap unless you want to make puke flavored juices. Now, do you have any flavors of your own, and any preferences? For example, you could do, say...

6% Peanut butter
4% RY4D
.25% Cinnamon
...and it would be ok, but you could make it better by adding some FLV red burley.

.5% Cinnamon
1% Peppermint ...is another possibility.

I mostly use pure RY4, it is my all-day vape. I do enjoy some menthol and crazy monkey. I am willing to try anything, though. And no, I only have those that I got from him

Thanks!

I’m not sure it would work that well with these other two flavors but maybe try like 0.75%? That stuff’s pretty strong

You could try a modified God's milk by /u/skiddlzninja. Try something along the lines of this if you want to use that blueberry.

Fw blueberry 3-4%

Strawberry ripe 4%

Bavarian cream 3%

Cheesecake GC 3%

Dragonfruit 0.5-1%

Lose the TFA ^(Foot)Cheese~~cake~~.

And if you make Grack, shouldn't you have INW Grapes? If so, try:
2% koolada
3% INW Grapes

It's a good purple slushie/freezie/popsicle mix.

Lol will do with the cheesecake. Unfortunately, the site I order my flavor from doesn't carry inw grapes :( How do you think it would be with the grape I have?

Dunno. INW tastes like straight up Purple. Never tried the one you have.

What could I do with these ? All 10ml.

  • English Toffee (TPA)
  • French Vanilla Deluxe (TPA)
  • Graham Cracker (TPA)
  • Jamaican Rum (TPA)
  • Koolada (TFA)

I'd go with:
1.5% English Toffee
3.5% Jamaican Rum
.5% Koolada (actually, depends on your tolerance level)

Basically, just a dark rum on the rocks kinda thing.

Try French Vanilla Deluxe all by itself at 3%. Steep it for at least a week.

by TheBorgerKingover 7 years ago

Why not try

English toffee 2% French vanilla 2% Graham cracker 0.5%

I think if you wait a week for the flavour of the month you'll get some good ideas for the rum concentrate too. I think it would go nicely with the toffee and/or the vanilla, on paper. I don't mess with alcohol vapes myself.
