Nicotine River changes to its nicotine offerings.
submitted over 7 years ago by thomasb9511

I just got this email about an hour ago.

>Good evening,

>I want to inform our clients, friends, and family that we are unable to offer the NicSelect product going forward. We’ve been awaiting shipment of two open orders of pure nicotine from NicSelect to arrive. However, we were informed last week from NicSelect, they will not be making any new shipments to us, despite their prior promises to do so. After a long relationship with NicSelect, during which time we helped promote the NicSelect brand, we find NicSelect's actions extremely unprofessional. We believe that in the end we are better off without NicSelect and we will continue to blaze our own trail in this Industry.

>As far as PurNic, this brand was created to solve numerous issues we had in the past suppliers. At this point, we can firmly and confidently say that we have seen everything possible in regards to quality, inventory, and consistency. Moving forward, PurNic will be our bread and butter. We orchestrated a consistent and quality driven supply chain of product for PurNic so that no consumer or business is expected to have an issue again. All documentation, whether it be for a direct consumer or for business practices will be available shortly and accessible to all. Pricing for PurNic will also be significantly lower than the structure that was bestowed upon us by previous suppliers.

>As for the other brands of nicotine on our website, expect to see these brands come online in the next week. Brands such as: Chemnovatic, CNT, Amerinic, Glass, and PurNic are just the beginning of our journey. We are well aware of what companies sell these Nicotine products for online and moving forward significantly lower pricing is expected to be available on our site. Since the beginning, our eyes have been set on being the ultimate DIY & Wholesale one stop shop, and we will continue to strive for this great achievement.

>We hope this helps clear up any questions or concerns >and there will be more information posted on our >website or emailed out as soon as possible.

>Thank you!

I guess I'm just glad I'm down to 1.5mg these days and don't really have a need for a specific brand at that low of concentration. Lower prices sound good to me.

Right on. Nic river lately is a bit too pricey on their shipping anyways. Vaperstek carries Chemnovatic and it's honestly as good as nicselect but the price is just insanely low and shipping is fast/cheap. It makes it hard to choose NR over VT.

They do have that free shipping at $50... But for small orders probably better to look else where

Yep that is true. Personally I just place orders to resupply stuff as I run out so it's always small orders.

I use to see you all the time on the ECR before you dove into DIY. Glad to see you've made the switch!

Any guesses why the two companies fell out? Seems hard to believe NicSelect would drop NR for no reason.

Presumably they were offered sufficient money for a (possibly North America, possibly worldwide) exclusive contract with someone else.

Perhaps, but seems shady if they are not honoring existing contracts with previous customers (Eg Nic River)

All depends how the contract on the exclusive deal is written. If NR has a competitor who wanted to fuck them over? Not allowing a clause making exception for existing orders would be a definite tactic.

Although it sounds more like NS is pissed about the planned introduction of lower price competition, and was expressing their displeasure the only say they could hurt NR. note: this is pure speculation in case any overly litigious CEO types are reading this.

Possible. I don't know all the US players.

For a second, I thought my nic salts wouldn't come, but I guess I just ordered from their last batch. Sucks to hear these things happen, but if they feel its for the better of the business, I'm for it.

I just ordered two bottles of their new nicshield. Let's see how it compares to their nicselect nicshield.

Nicshield is nicselect just in a glass bottle..

No, they now have their Pur nicshield. I enjoy it due to being argon sealed with a slip tip.

Can you plz change back to the way you used to be able to access the different flavor providers on your website? The new format makes no sense to me if I have to start at Capella and scroll down to every other.. Thank you,
