submitted over 7 years ago by kirkt

This is the thread to share all of your best individual creations. If you want to share your recipe as its own post, it must have extra content such as development process, variations, etc - but please post it here as well for posterity. We also have weekly threads for new-mixer questions and "help me mix something with these flavors" threads. Please help keep the community "clean" by posting in appropriate threads.

It's best to use the format:
<Flavor> (<Vendor>) @ x%
<Flavor> (<Vendor>) @ x%
<Flavor> (<Vendor>) @ x%
<Flavor> (<Vendor>) y drops per z ml
(note - if you are having trouble with spacing, hit the space bar twice before you hit return and your comment will begin a new line without a paragraph break).

Don't forget to review the many recipes from the April thread.. Your next ADV may have already been posted there. Congrats to /u/jengamaster345 for the top-rated recipe of the month, proving decisively that you don't have to be a moderator to win. I assure you it won't happen again.

Now get mixing, ya filthy animals!

CBD Crunch Berries - Heavy on the Straw.

Since this is downvoted, I'm clarifying that cannabidiol is legal in all 50 US States, and doesn't get you high. It's purely medicinal.

Berry (Crunch) Cereal (TPA) @ 4.00%.
Strawberry (Ripe) (TPA) @ 2.00%.
Sweet Strawberry (CAP) @ 3.00%.

Notes Intended to be used with at least 200mg/15ml, more if you can stand it and can keep the PG ratio high. Add the powdered CBD isolate first to the empty bottle, add the PG and flavorings and wait until fully dissolved. Add VG after. Steep time is 4 days due to the crunch berries flavor.

And basically the same thing with cap vanilla custard v1. Same thing but steep 2 weeks.
Vanilla Custard v1 (CAP) @ 4.00%.
Strawberry (Ripe) (TPA) @ 2.00%.
Sweet Strawberry (CAP) @ 3.00%.

TFAs Banana Cream works great at 4% in place of the crunch/custard.

I mixed this up, it was great. I made my own CBD pg, dissolving 1g of CBD Isolate in 16.5g of PG. I substituted this for the PG one to one. Mixed up 20 ml, which by my calculations is 389mg CBD for the bottle. Added to alltheflavors to mix,

what PG ratio should I use?

1 points

by flamingjointsover 7 years ago

Higher the PG the better, but it depends on the concentration of CBD. 200mg/15mL was working well at 45/55 VG/PG

I second this, I also make my own cbd juice for a while now and this is the ratio i settled on after multiple experiments.

Lucky's Charms

Co. | Flavor | % ---|---|---- TFA | Lucky Leprechaun Cereal | 3.25 TFA | Meringue | 1.5 CAP | Cereal 27 | 2.5 OoO | Cream Milky Undertones PG | 1.5 FW | Cake Batter Dip | 1.0 FLV | Marshmallow | 0.5 FLV | Whipped Cream | 0.5

It's LUCKY FUCKING CHARMS. With milk.

You might not want to buy FW Cake Batter Dip to make this. It's got fructose in it, it will destroy your wicks relatively quick even at just 1%. It might be bad for you, too, burning sugars can release carcinogens. But if you have some already and want to use it, maybe give this a try. Unfortunately, I don't have a sub for it, it's unique. And it perfects the sweet cereal that's been baptized in milk and is starting to return to its doughy origin.

TFA Lucky Leprechaun has some oat puff cereal hiding in there with a somewhat weird (possibly emulating the taste of artificial coloring?) crisp cereal-type marshmallow. I used CAP Cereal 27 to draw it out of hiding. Took some work to make it happen without turning puffed oat into corn or multigrain cereal, but I think this gets it down. OoO Cream Milky PG helps with that, sort of wraps around it and keeps that cornflake pyrazine taste from being too assertive while also doing a fine job as a cereal milk. If you're lucky enough to own some FA Milk, you can add that at 1% for an even milker cereal with whole milk. TFA Meringue in my opinion is a slightly better option for sugary, toasty cereal and cereal milk perfecting than FA Meringue, which is a more authentic meringue. But if you only have FA Meringue, you can sub that at 1% instead of the 1.5% TFA Meringue. Although Lucky Lep is mostly a cereal marshmallow flavor, cranking it up high enough to really make the marshmallows stand out just gets too chemical-tasting and weird for me. FLV Marshmallow + FLV Whipped Cream finish putting the charms in Lucky's Charms. These two flavors are so similar that if you don't have one of them or are just too lazy to get them both out, you could make this with 1% of either instead of 0.5% of both. The difference will be how long you let the marshmallows soak in milk. All Marshmallow = No soak, just teeth-squeakingly crunchy mallows. All Whipped Cream = Marshmallows are getting milk-logged and have a slippy, gooey outer layer, but still have that crisp sugar center. I just happen to like a happy medium.

I've still got the other version steeping , but it smells incredible. Will have to whip up a batch of this as well. How was I sleep on FLV marshmallow for so long? That one is definitely a keeper and dare I say may replace fa marshmallow for a realistic marshmallow taste. Sometimes when I smell flv marshmallow I swear I get chocolate tho it's confusing.

Try the other one first. This only has very slight percentage changes based on what some people who tried it told me. I don’t think it tastes noticeably different from memory, though I’m sure I could tell which was which in a side by side comparison.

And yeah, FLV Marshmallow is the shit. Little on the dry side but then, so are marshmallows.

Fwiw, just a touch of FW Cake Batter Dip is great for giving poundcake/muffin mixes that moist doughy texture & I've used it with a lot of success in a blueberry muffin recipe. Perfect for emulating that soggy plastic-wrapped Otis spunkmeyer gas station muffin! FLV Cupcake Batter is similar but not a 1:1 substitute :)

You almost have to have some of it in there if you want to try to really copy any pastry that comes wrapped in plastic. Hostess, Little Debbie, Otis Spunkmeyer, etc.

It was like I got hooked on crack the first time I tried it. Had an old recipe that never quite did it for me, had bought cake batter dip on a whim. Fit it into the mix, and downed a 15ml bottle in one sitting while taking notes lol. Didn't realize it was loaded with shit though, but I don't really lean on it as a main base flavor thankfully. Gonna try your lucky charms once my NicRiver order comes in!

This is the first recipe that I'm happy with so I thought I would share it. I expect it is very simple for most people but I think it's delicious.

LycheeTang Lemonade

Co. | Flavour| % ---|---|---- INW| Cactus| 0.25 TPA| Dragonfruit| 1 TPA| Koolada 10%| 0.5 LA| Lemonade| 4 CAP| Sweet Lychee| 4 CAP| Sweet Tangerine| 2 Flavor total: 11.75%

So this started off by me making this strawberry lemonade. I didn't think it was very good but I thought I would try to add some koolada to make it more lemonade-like. The koolada completely changed the recipe for me, made everything pop and much crispier where I found it dull and undefined/swampy - I can't state enough how much of a difference it made and I really didn't expect it to.

I hated menthol with a passion when I smoked and have not enjoyed cooling much in vaping either which is why I was so surprised about this, I couldn't get enough of the recipe and vaped nearly 30ml in two days and it is now my first adv (I usually change flavours after every 2ml tank) . So if you don't like cooling agents maybe give that one a try, it has changed my vaping world drastically.

After this seemingly simple adaption I decided to try one myself. I have been wanting to use lychee up in a recipe for a while as I haven't been keen on it so far, and I have read mentions of using tangerine in lemonades on here a few times. There was no development involved at all, I made the recipe, steeped it and it tasted fantastic to me.

INW Cactus I added this to make it juicier tasting

TPA Dragonfruit This was to add some juiciness but also to blend it all together and add a bit more depth to the taste. I don't think you can taste it but I like that it gives an (perhaps) unidentifiable background layer. I've discovered that it goes well with koolada as well.

TPA Koolada 10% Obviously to make it colder but it also lifts the flavours considerably, gives them a cleaner taste, and makes them pop. This could go down or up a bit, I like it with about 1% but 0.5% seems to be enough to do what it needs to without being very cold. I think it also makes a big difference to the lemonade aspect of the recipe, it seems to bring it slightly closer to being fizzy somehow.

LA Lemonade Don't have much to say about this, it's the only lemonade I have and it seems to work well with the other flavours.

CAP Sweet Lychee As I mentioned before, I wanted to use up this flavour because I haven't been keen on the taste of it so far, especially in cold recipes. I like it here because the floral side isn't too strong and the other flavours round it out in the areas it needs it. The other flavours back it up enough that isn't a very obvious lychee but certainly is there.

CAP Sweet Tangerine In this recipe I think it adds a sweetness and bottom end to the lychee in combination to the lemon(ade) and background of dragonfruit. It's not particularly obvious that it is there but it does have a job.

I like this recipe because it's not very forward in any one flavour, they all blend together to form a surprisingly complex whole, to me at least. The tangerine could be higher but I enjoy it just lifting and boosting things in the background.

After a shake and vape I found the lychee to be strong and not that pleasant but I left it for a week and everything evened out nicely. So I would recommend steeping for a week

by JooseMakerWannabeover 7 years ago

Looks really tasty! Nice job on the notes, too. I will mix this up, and I'll let ya know how it turns out. I will have to leave the koolada out, tho, cause I just don't like it!

1 points

by garamasalaover 7 years ago

I can understand that, I'm very cautious of koolada too. If you can handle it at all then I would add a drop per 10ml or something, I haven't tried this lychee recipe without it but I think it probably makes quite a big difference.

Thanks for giving it a try though, I'd love to hear what you think.

3 points

by billgarmsarmyover 7 years agoMentholatier

Made this with the following changes:

  • Swapped FW Lemonade 1:1 with the LA Lemonade, as that was what I had on hand.
  • Increased the Koolada to 0.75%

I've been on a big Lychee kick lately and this is pretty damn tasty. I shake and vape everything and am very pleased with this recipe. Thanks so much for sharing.

I have been craving menthol and fruits lately so I decided to throw together a mix and I feel it turned out great. Who doesn't like apples and melons? I sure do, and I had a new melon and a new apple to play with. The finished product reminds me of some sort of minty tropical gum you'd find at the check out counter of a gas station that you impulse buy and it turns out to be a pleasant surprise.

FA or JF Fuji(I prefer JF)/INW Anton Apple Anton for the sweet and tart notes, and Fuji for the delicious apple sweetness that serves as a good backbone.

INW Melon/FLV Wild Melon INW Melon is interesting to me, its very tropical and tastes to me like a mix of cantaloupe, honeydew, and watermelon with something else I cant quite put my finger on. Some say its like a canary melon, but I've never had a canary melon so I can't comment on its accuracy - but damn it's tasty. Wild melon is there to further the tropical vibe and its just an all around great flavor.

FA Arctic Winter The Menthol. Its optional I guess, but I like it. You could really use any preferred menthol at whatever % suits you, but this is what I have and it works for me.

TFA Dragonfruit Helps the fruits blend, and its got the tropicals.

INW Cactus Make it juicy, baby.

Ethyl Maltol Small amount to counteract the harshness of Anton, and a bit of sweetness.

Here's the recipe - maybe mix it and tell me what you think. Cheers.

APPLE MELON MIST

Flavor Co.|Flavor|% :--|:--:|--: JF/FA|Fuji|3 INW|Anton Apple|0.75 INW|Melon|1.5 FLV|Wild Melon|1.25 FA|Arctic Winter|1 TFA|Dragonfruit|0.5 INW|Cactus|0.25 TFA|Ethyl Maltol|0.25 Total 8.5%

After months of lurking, reading, experimenting and learning from all of you here, I decided to quit chickening out and post one of my recipes. Thank you for the invaluable information and guidance, this sub is a goldmine!

This recipe was an attempt to replicate a rum and tobacco cocktail for a friend of mine who had tasted it a while back in an upscale bar.

Initially, I tried this with INW Gold Ducat at 0.5%, and then 0.3% thinking I'd play off its honey notes, while the Blood Orange hides that sickening (IMO) Maggi undertone. She really enjoys that version so feel free to try it, but I prefer this one, as Gold Ducat is quite prominent even in such low percentages.

It's a simple RY that is good as an ADV, smokey and sweet with just a hint of orange on the exhale.

~~Orange Tobacco Rum~~ RY-aint-tobacco Rum

Ingredient | % ---|--- | AP |0.05 FW Blood Orange |0.30 FA Jamaican Special | 1.75 TPA RY4 Double | 4.00% TPA Toasted Almond| 0.50%

Best after a month's steep.

With all the bubble gum flavors we have these days, why don't you use any in a bubble gum recipe?

1 points

by Katumbasover 7 years ago

With this recipe, I didn't think it was necessary to use it. For me, CAP Honeydew Melon already gives me the perception of a chewing gum aspect especially at 3%. Above 4% begins to scratch my throat. And JF's Sweet Strawberry complements the chewing gum/candy vibe.

Nothing revolutionary here just quick simple mixers that taste good.

Strawberry milk

Tpa strawberry ripe 4%

Inw Shisha strawberry 1.5%

Lb vanilla ice cream 5%

fa meringue .5%

Sweeten to taste.

I've tried complex strawberries and cream , simple ones as well , this is a simple mix that I really like.

Watermelon apple gummy

Wf sour watermelon %3

Cap double apple %3

Wf sour gummy candy %1.5

sweeten to taste. good with coolant as well

Nice candy vape. throwing some strawberry or kiwi in there is also good.

Grape pixie

Tfa grape juice 8%

Wf pixie candy 2.5%

These are my go to and they are pretty much shake and vape. Though the strawberry I like to let sit 3 days or so.

Cherry Haze

Mixed up Hash's London Haze Earl Grey recipe, was awesome. Saw ZophieVapes vaping on this cherry and cream black tea in her recent videos, decided to try it. Turned out awesome. Super mellow mix under 5% total flavoring, still tastes delicious! Hash knocked it out of the park with the original, and my twist on it is still just my first attempt but I'm digging it. I know people find FA Black Cherry a little medicinal, but I think that offnote blends well with the earthiness of the tea here, and the bit of lemon really gives it a subtle tart juiciness.

The screenshot is for 30ml 6mg 65/35 mix if you don't care to plug it into your own calcs :)

Pear and Pineapple

I know this looks like a pretty high percentage of flavorings but I fucked with it quite a bit before settling on this.

TFA Pear - 4%

FA Pear - 1%

INW Pineapple - 5%

CAP Sweet Strawberry - 3%

(Koolada or WS-23 at your preferred percentage)

It's really just a great pear juice. You might get some pineapple notes from time to time, but the sweet strawberry is just there to help. Strawberry always plays nice with these types of fruits.

Mango Marzipan Cream

I wanted to create a delicious mango milk, and after some experimentation I came up with this recipe (link for mixing, pipette button on the top right):

  • FLV Mango @ 2.0%
  • CAP Sweet Tangerine @ 3.0%
  • INW Marzipan Yummy Classic @ 0.5%
  • FLV Cream @ 1.0%
  • CAP Bavarian Cream @ 3.0%
  • TFA Vanilla Swirl @ 1.0%
  • FW Hazelnut @ 0.5%

It's good as a SnV, but it probably calls for a week or two of steep.

It doesn't really resemble a milky vape as it has a pretty solid cream base, hence the name. And it's delicious.

The mango and the creams are the main players here. Because FLV Mango generates some (what I would call) off-flavors at higher percentages, I decided to keep it at 2% and complement it with CAP Sweet Tangerine, and its a fantastic pairing. The combination of FLV Cream, CAP Bavarian Cream and TFA Vanilla Swirl provides the cream base, and I am really happy with it, but there is room for improvement (suggestions welcome). The FW Hazelnut at that low percentage just makes the base a bit fuller, and is not really noticeable as a nut.

If you're like me and really enjoy marzipan, you can accidentally overdrip the Marzipan YC, but don't overdo it. This flavor is really strong.

A shout out goes to u/ID10-T for helping me out balancing the flavors a bit. Thanks!

I feel it has some earthy, barky (if that makes sense) taste to it at higher percentages. This is what you can do about it: keep it at 2% and complement with Sweet Tangerine. It's a great combo.

New recipe for all my tobacco lovers.
1% Perique (Stixxmixx)
2% Dark Fire (Stixxmixx)
4% The Supreme (StixxMixx)
1.5% Bourbon (FLV)
1.5% Vanilla Custard (TPA)

For a more vanilla heavy tobacco, remove the bourbon and VC and use Shisha.

1% Perique (StixxMixx)
2% Dark Fire (StixxMixx)
4% The Supreme (StixxMixx)
1.5% Vanilla Shisha (INW)

This one is pretty tasty. I like Perique no higher than 1% in this. This is a smoky vanilla cigar type vape.

I’m a newbie mixer but I managed to mix a decent juice that I now use as my ADV.

Recipe:

6% butterscotch, TFA 6% vanilla swirl, TFA 0.5% cookie dough, Flavorah

I mixed the aromas and added nicotine and VG and I have now steeped it for 8 days. At first it didn’t taste anything but after a week I really like it. I think it taste like vanilla butterscotch but my wife think it taste like vanilla/cookie dough.

Don’t know if this juice qualify here but it’s my first juice and I like it. I guess it will taste more if I let it steep longer. I have a lot to learn but I have to start somewhere 🙂 If you have tried this mix before and have tips that can make it better then I'm grateful for help and suggestions. And I hope you can understand my English, I’m from Sweden 😉

Very well done, and your English is fine. Maybe lower your Vanilla swirl is what I might do, that high my mute a bit. But, that’s me and your first recipe is something to be proud of; keep up the good mixing...😉!

Thanks! Yes I will try to lower the Vanilla Swirl in my next mix. Thanks for the tip! I mixed it around 3 weeks ago and the first week it didn’t taste much but now after steeping three weeks it has pretty good flavor 🙂 I’m gonna make a new batch today and listen to your advice about the Vanilla. I also will try to mix a new “bakery” juice, I don’t like fruit flavors etc but I love bakery flavors👍

A really refreshing pina colada/ fruit drink flavor. I'm going to be making like a quart of this pretty soon to stock up for the summer/give to friends.

Island

pineapple tfa @ 1.5%

A sharp burst of bright pineapple is great, but best not to overdo this one. You really want to blend this in accordance to the sweet tangerine, so adjust them to your sweetness and acidity liking.

mango tfa @ 3.3%

The mango definitely is still bright, but it has a lot of middle notes as well that aren't as pronounced. really marries all of the fruit to the coconut

sweet tangerine cap @ 1.5%

Just about the same thing as the pineapple, but you could also use other citrus flavors like juicy lemon or something. Maybe play around with a drop or two of koolada if you do that.

coconut candy tfa @ 3.3%

This really makes the flavor IMO. It lays a bed for all of the flavors to sit on, and really ups the WOW factor when other people have tasted it. It's also a sweeter coconut, so you still taste it even with the other intense flavors.

Been messing around with making an iced tea. Still a work in progress. Here's a few I found vape-able.

Raspberry Iced Tea

<Earl Grey Tea> (TPA/TFA) @ 0.8%
<Aurora> (FA) @ 1%
<Lemon Sicily> (FA) @ 2%
<Lemonade> (LA) @ 4%
<Raspberry Malina> (INW) @ 1%

LA Lemonade is my go-to lemon flavour. As a lemonade it's great. FA Aurora and FA Lemon Sicily are to help round it out. INW Raspberry Malina is just a topping, optional. To me this recipe tastes very close to Pure Leaf Iced Tea

Passion Fruit Tea

<Earl Grey Tea> (TPA) @ 0.5%
<Lemonade> (LA) @ 3%
<Passionfruit> (FA) @ 3%

This one was just an experiment with what I could do with TPA Earl Grey Tea. No real reasoning or direction behind any percentages. Quick throw together that turned out good.

Fruit Punch (Gmix)

Ingredient|% :---|---: Anise (FA)|0.30 Grape (MF)|0.40 Green Apple (MF)|0.40 Liquid Stevia (Pyure)|0.40 Pear (MF)|0.70 Sour Wizard (FA)|0.40 Strawberry (MF)|0.60

Flavor total: 3.2%

Remember to rate it at e-liquid-recipes.com!

It's actually hard to describe this mix. The apple is most forward, but still a bit subtle. The other flavors kinda meld into a punch type flavor. The overall flavor is very appealing. It has a sweetness to it without being overly sweet.

I’m on my 2nd tank and it seems more of the flavors are shining through. I’m definitely picking up the pear and grape along with the apple. The strawberry is there, but it seems like more of a accent flavor…

This mix is well layered and tastes very good!

Cookie FA 8%

Vanilla Custard V1 CAP 4%

I might be the dumbest MF in the DIY community because somehow I managed to mess up a big batch of only 2 flavors, yes two flavors. That would be the popular simple sugar cookies. 8% CAP's Sugar v1, I assume as ATF needs to fix that ages ago and Cap Vanilla Custard V1 4%. After a 50ml batch looked at the bottle and it was FA's cookie instead. F me.

I'm a member at ATF and said for science instead of seeing how strong the plastic bottle holds up against my concrete wall I'll see if anybody had any ideas on maybe what to add or change and then I'll throw half of it in another bottle then put in whatever you guys suggest and after two weeks steeping I'll test all 3 and give you my impressions.

Cut it in half with base, add berries.

To your 25ml bottle of that, add .05g TFA Cinnamon Spice (that should cover up the horrible flavor) Then mix the result with 100ml of 2% FLV Red Burley. Steep for a month. End result should be a nice dessertish tobacco.

Other possibility: mix up a 75ml batch of:
.25% FA Cocoa
.25% FLV Rich Cinnamon
.5% TFA Honeysuckle

Mix that with that 25ml you've got, and it should work out ok. If you're afraid of tobacco flavors, that's probably the way to go. But the tobacco version would be better.

Thanks for that. I wouldn't pick up the Cocoa but I have the Honeysuckle and was debating on getting Rich Cinnamon one of these days when a sale goes down (probably Memorial Day) as it's supposed to be awesome but crazy strong, so much that it laughs at INW's Raspberry. I have CAPS Danish swirl and I like those flavor profiles rather than the cakes or cookies.

I'm new into desserts though because in the 5 years I've been vaping all the ones I tried made me feel literally sick to my stomach because they were so sweet so I never mixed them until about a month ago and it opened up a whole new world. It also opened up my wallet too :-)

Have you tried that and is it really that bad and if so I’m sorry but 😩😂 I thank you for making me laugh, but with you, never at you of course because I too have been that dumb ass. But, you may have discovered something great is my prayer because I have 4oz of FA cookie 🤣....uugh.
