Weekly 'Suggest a Recipe for my Flavors' Thread - Week of April 06, 2018

Got a bunch of flavors but not sure how to make them work together? Post your list here, and our team of semi-professional mixologists will make suggestions for you! Don't forget to include manufacturers' names for all of your concentrates, and make your list easier to read by using bullet points or at least listing each of your flavors on a new line by hitting return twice after each flavor.

Impatient and want to do this on your own? /u/daath has a nice website that has this functionality, but you will need to register to make it work. It is not very intuitive but if you work with it you can input your flavors and get a list of recipes that you can make. To get this to work, first set up an account. Then add your flavors to the stash (under my page / my flavor stash). Hit save. Then go back to the front page and click the link next to the search field, "Search by flavor stash." You can select a couple of your flavors and recipes that have those will pop up.

First off, flavor art has a number of good flavors. The reason I asked was you listed FA for one of your flavors and it didn't look right. You meant tfa, I'm guessing.

I would try something like:

TPA Banana Nut Bread @5%

TPA Strawberry Ripe @2%

TPA Strawberry @2%

TPA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream @3%

TPA Bavarian Cream @1%

Koolada is always a 'too taste' kinda thing, due to different sensitivities. I like mixing WS-5, WS-23, and FA Polar Blast 1:1:1 usually... and go around 2-5% depending if I want cool or freezing.

New mixer here! I've got a bunch of fruit flavors and wouldn't mind some of your ideas! I got (all TFA) cantaloupe, papaya, ripe strawberry, dx Marshmallow, watermelon, mango, and kiwi double.

Well, you could try:
2% TFA toasted marshmallow
2% TFA Kentucky Bourbon
(and then either 2% INW Grapes or .25% INW Raspberry ... or maybe both) as a variant on kiwi bourbon.

3% INW Grapes
2% koolada (It's not as good as mixing a few cooling agents,but it should get into purple popsicle range.

If you get some WS-23, try replacing half the koolada in that second recipe with it. Even better purple freezie.

Just noticed I misread... INW Grapes is different than INW Grape... but if it's working for ya anyhow, that's good.

TFA Sour and a garbage can.

TFA raspberry sweet 4%
INW Raspberry. 5%
Koolada 1.5%
(Normally, I'd mix it with something else, but you have nothing to make a lemonade or iced tea with, and while 1% TFA Blackberry would work, I'm not sure about adding Bilberry to the mix, normally a blueberry and/or black currant would be ideal.)

TFA Irish Cream is not bad, but again, without the right mix... (Baileys goes really well in a hot chocolate, for example.)

3% FW Butterscotch
3% CAP Buttercream
...and an appropriate amount of TFA Ripe Banana should work. Never tried that one, but...
