Vape Train White Chocolate Base

DISCLAIMER: These are my personal notes that I am sharing with the community & all palates are different.

Setup: Hussar RDA V1 Parallel N80 26G 6.5 wraps 2.5MM .3 ohm 35 watts

Mixing Info: Steeped for 24 days Tested fresh & weekly Mixed 6% & 9%

VTA Description: "a white chocolate recipe Kickstarter, designed to create a foundation for to suit most e-liquid recipes that require the use of chocolate. This flavour can be utilised in an array of styles from creamy milk chocolate, to a dessert and bakery styled eliquid recipe. Pairing is made simple with fruits and or other creamy bases." Their suggested usage range is SOLO:5-9%. MIXED:2-5% They also say 3-6 day steep.

6%: It smells amazingly accurate to a white chocolate and the knuckle test is very similar to a white chocolate. Freshly mixed wasn't much flavor at all. After a week some white chocolate and cream coming through. At 2 weeks it seems fully steep full flavor white chocolate like note, some creaminess, and a sour like cream cheese note. No strange off notes other than the cream cheese. It is slightly dry but not harsh. Has a decent bodied mouthfeel.

9%: White chocolate is amplified, also getting a milk chocolate like note, sour cream cheesy note is more noticeable. No harshness, but it is still a bit dry, and still has medium bodied mouthfeel.

Pairings: Fruits, creams & bakeries. Just make sure not to use with anything that is dry or harsh because it will make the VT White Chocolate even drier which will be very unpleasant.

Conclusion: VTA's suggested usage seems about right. Off notes would be @9%. I got a bit of a milk chocolate as well as the white chocolate. The cream cheese would also be an off flavor being that it is not a note people would get from eating white chocolate. It was slightly dry and has the cream cheese note you may have to cover up if it is not wanted. Also think that adding some vanilla and some more creams. You make a good vanilla white chocolate mousse style recipe.

Anyone who gets the black pepper taste found a good alternative to TPA white chocolate? This this any good?

FW and Flv are both pretty decent white chocolates. I often layer them together.

Hey Emily, what ratio do you mix the FW and FLV at usually? If white choc is the main profile, what amounts do you recommend?

I normally will mix them fw/flv 2:1. so 2% fw white chocolate and 1% flv white chocolate.

I couldn't tell you I don't get black pepper from TPA VBIC. Maybe Mr. Concrete River can answer that for you i know he is a pepper taster and i am sure he has tried this flavor as well

i keep forgetting to pick up TPA Apricot. Have recipe that i have been wanting to mix up that uses it but never seem to remember to add it to the cart.

Thanks for your review. I personally wouldn't consider milk chocolate or sour cream normal notes in a white chocolate. But it may be helpful in a chocolate forward recipe without as much coil gunking.

yeah they are technically off notes for a white chocolate so i updated my post. But usually what i consider off notes is something that makes it unvapeable for. Like getting cough syrup from a cherry for example

Wait, you mean cherry isn't supposed to taste like medicine lol.

But yeah, technically anything other than the expected flavor would be an off note. For example tobacco that tastes like eggos, or Nona's cake which taste like anus, More than a custard cake.
