Below is a variation of this deliciousness, by /u/enyawreklaw
It’s a lemon berry tart, and I loves it.
Mfg.|Concentrate|%
|:--|:--|--:
CAP|Lemon Meringue Pie V1| 5.0%
CAP|Sugar Cookie| 2.5%
FA|Meringue| 0.5%
FA|Black Currant| 1.5%
If you are not familiar with the ingredients, here are some inaccurate notes with limited utility:
CAP Lemon Meringue Pie V1
A buttery pie crust with a delightful lemon aroma. This concentrate has it all, the pledge free lemon, the mouthfeel of meringue, and the saltiness of a flake pastry. IME, this flavor does jack below 3%, and it tends to mute other bakery concentrates. It’s the glue that holds this recipe together.
CAP Sugar Cookie
They could’ve named this one vanilla butter. It’s a subtle yet rich vanilla note, and a super buttery cookie. It contributes a lot of texture to this recipe, bringing the pastry from flaky pie, to crumbly tart.
FA Meringue It’s Meringue. If a more accurately labeled concentrate exists, I don’t know of it. At 0.5%, you get the egg more than the burnt sugar. In this recipe, it brings a stiffness to the topping that LMPV1 lacks.
FA Black Currant
I’m American, so I don’t have a valid concept of black currant. I call them sex grapes. Sorry if that’s not helpful. 1.5% pushes the envelope for this flavor, imo. There is a fuuuuunky floral note that just butchers a solid fruit base- works swimmingly in this recipe though. I’ve never had a black currant tart irl, but I’ll never not want one after this recipe.
Sucralose is totally optional in this one. If you can’t live without it, at least try not to exceed 0.25%, or you’ll get no dessert after dinner young man/woman!
Warm weather is only around the corner, time for some refreshing juices!
Vendor|Flavour|Percentage :-:|:--|:-- FA|Pineapple|1 TPA|Champagne|1 FA|Kiwi|2.5 TPA|Koolada (10%)|1 FLV|Lemonade|4 CAP|Super Sweet|0.25 TPA|Vanilla Swirl|1
It's a sweet and tart tropical lemonade. The TFA Champagne at 1% adds only a slight alcoholic taste and more of a floral astringent flavour which counter-balances the sweetness and body of the pineapple and lemonade nicely. Vanilla swirl adds some 'thickness' and blends well with the lemonade. Kiwi just tastes nice!
This only requires around 24h steeping.
Doesn't look that bad. Until the last two ingredients.
Triple Macaron Recipe Drop, Part 1
Co. | Flavor | % ---|---|---- CAP | Sugar Cookie | 2 FA | Almond | 2 FA | Meringue | 2 FLV | Cinnamon Crunch | 2 FLV | Cream | 1 FA | Milk | 1 TFA | Acetyl Pyrazine 5% | 0.13 FLV | Rich Cinnamon | 0.08
A Cinnamon Toast Crunch-flavored macaron
I built this to be a delightful contrast between sophisticated dessert, the French macaron, and childhood memories, Saturday mornings in front of cartoons with a big bowl of CTC. Rather than re-inventing the wheel, I started with the macaron base from my Mango Blossom Macaron recipe. The rest is pretty straightforward, though it took some work the get it all to sit in the recipe without overpowering the macaron. FLV Cinnamon Crunch is a great flavor that actually tastes a lot like CTC all by itself, with just a few minor issues. It's not quite crunchy enough - the light touch of TFA AP fixes that. It's a little low on cinnamon - FLV Rich Cinnamon solves that problem, but it's so strong. One fat drop in a 40ml is plenty. For mixing less than 40ml of this, you probably want to create a 10% Rich Cinnamon + 90% PG dilution and use it at 0.8%. The bit of Rich Cinnamon also annihilates a little hint of unwanted maple I get from the Cinnamon Crunch. FA Milk, ~~which is available at DIY Vapor Supply,~~ at 1% gives that FLV Cream an accurate hint of dairy to finish the recipe, without getting too soggy.
Edit: I'm going to call DIY Vapor Supply and find out what happened to FA Milk. I hope I don't have to start ordering it from Italy!
Fuck you Shaun Casey..
I wouldn’t go around saying that if I were you, unless you feel like being reminded that FANA has lawyers.
I can't find FA Milk for sale anywhere :(
Shit, you're right. DIY Vapor Supply just had it last week, I don't know where it has gone.
Now, this is the only place I could find it: https://flavourart.com/en/store/flavors/sweet/milk-flavor/
I'm going to contact DIY Vapor Supply and find out what happened to Milk.

Smoky tobacco with dark berries.
The original idea was to use ingredients with “black” in the name (hence the name), and to try to boost the dark berry notes in Black for Pipe. I think I succeeded with the latter, but the former didn’t quite work out.
The first problem with the “Black” idea was TFA Blackberry. Too floral. Same problem with INW Blackcurrant. Wasn’t really feeling it with Black Cherry for Pipe or INW Black Jack either. So to get the main idea to work, I had to pretty much scrap the Blacks.
For the tobacco base I ended up going with my Brigade 2506 recipe because that pretty much makes Black for Pipe perfect to me. The berries and Connecticut Shade came together kind of by accident. I asked for some ideas on diy_ejuice and /u/ID10-T suggested FLV Açaí, and mentioned some cocoa notes. I thought that might be interesting with some FLV Connecticut Shade. I must have read a flavor review for Boysenberry before I went to BCF, because I ended up buying FLV Boysenberry instead of the Açaí. I didn’t realize my mistake until I mixed it up and it tasted pretty good, so I went to thank Dave for the suggestion. Then I saw that he said Açaí. I figured I’d better get that one to see if it’s even better, and it was pretty good too. I knew then that I had to at least try it with both, and by golly it was perfect.
I have been really digging it in a MTL tank. Those berries are up front on the inhale and then the smoky perfection of Black for Pipe comes in on the back end.

Bright juicy cherry.

Plum + Pear. Great combo for true cherry taste. It isn't chemical and has no seed (like couple of cherry flavorings do)
Pineapple brings juiciness and slight sour note. It makes this combo more authentic.
Enjoy!
P.S.
Haven't tried this in dessert recipes. If someone does, describe your experience below please

Man I really want to mix this but I don't have TFA Plum and my vendor doesn't carry it. I only have 3ml of INW Plum and 0.5ml of FW Plum left.
It would be awesome if someone could mix this and confirm it tastes like cherries!
I have some feedback. One accepts it is a cherry. Second one says it is bad apple with some plum. Get one, u can use it at least to build Dr. Pepper. Tfa Plum has almost nothing in common with Plum irl.

A Notoriously delicious papaya macaron with honey cream filling
The theme for Mixers' Club was "duets" - taking two existing recipes and making them sing together. I wanted to try using the macaron base from my Mango Blossom Macaron with a different tropical fruit, and the first thing that came to mind was swiping the top off of the last public recipe by the late, great /u/NotCharlesManson (May Peace Be Upon Him). That funky papaya, backed up by apricot and presented with a bit of honey, was just so yummy situated in a rich cream. Would it work here too? Yes, I think it does, deliciously, but only after being dialed way, way back to fit subtly into a delicate pastry.
Mix some up, and don't forget to pour a little out for the dearly departed.
7 flavors?! Gettin' fancy aint'cha? I'm def mixing this up anyway, 'cause you. But I gotta ax, does the apricot really make a difference?
Of course it makes a difference. But it’s definitely the most expendable ingredient here, if I wanted to try streamlining. It would probably need a little more Papaya to make up for it, but how much more? Less than 0.25% more, I’m very sure. But more than 0.05%. TFA Papaya packs a funky fruity wallop and I fussed with getting it dialed in with an FA Apricot backup without ever considering dropping the ‘Cot.
Is seriously no one going to say anything about the demise of NotCharlesManson?
Late?! He’s dead? Oh my...or u pulln our chain? Hope I didn’t stop reading too soon and look like an idiot after u explained yourself. Will I ever learn not to be so impulsive? 😩😂. ...May he r.i.p.
He's dead, and if he shows up here trying to say he isn't, just tell him, "Yes, you are." Because there's no other reason I can fathom to go a year without releasing a recipe.
And why do my comments go totally out of order as in backwards and not where I placed them uuugh this Reddit app 😡... nvm everything I said except about the recipe and who even knows where that is 😩😂...

##Chocolate Why just chocolate as a name for a recipe that is obviously intended to be a Nutella attempt? Well, it just didn't get close enough to claim the name. What is does do though is present to you a chocolate vape that does not blind your taste buds after three hits or thirty hits. For some reason the other ingredients help hold the flavor intact for each hit. I suspect that the FLV Milk Chocolate is largely responsible for that.
##Ingredients:
TFA Double Chocolate (Clear) is a very tasty chocolate for the first few hits, then your tongue gives up. I first noticed this in early 2015 in a Butterfinger recipe I found in a ECF thread. The same thing happened with other chocolates I tried. I gave up, rightly figuring that I just don't know enough about mixing. Then, a year ago while reading this forum I found a lot of excited discussion about a couple of Flavorah chocolates; Milk Chocolate and Chocolate Deutsch. I picked up a bottle of each and that changed everything. I chose Milk Chocolate over Chocolate Deutsch simply because I don't like Chocolate Deutsch. It tastes harsh and peppery to me, which is probably just me.
Flavorah Cream. At the same time I purchased the FLV chocolates I purchased FLV Cream. I have always been a proponent for FA Fresh Cream, and I still am for it's immediate cream flavor that requires little to no steep time. I began switching out Fresh Cream for FLV Cream in some recipes just to see what would happen, and have found that it, after a week or so, delivers a full bodied cream with a richness that FA Fresh Cream lacks.
FW Hazelnut. This again is a personal choice between FW and TFA Hazelnut. I tried both and found that the TFA variety is harsh and peppery. I see a pattern here and am sure it is my problem and not TFA's
TFA Vanillin. I read the label on Nutella and right there under ingredients it says "Vanillin, an artificial flavor." Good enough for me.
TFA White Chocolate. I felt the recipe needed a bit of smoothing out, and this is what I used. It seems to have worked.
TFA Cotton Candy and CAP Supersweet. Both Chocolate and Nutella are very sweet and I used these two to achieve that.
Edited for formatting.
I gotta write this sucker down. Looks good. Chocolates for me have proven difficult but this looks promising. Nice write up.
Thanks. Yeah chocolates are tough. When I first tried to mix them I quickly realized I was in over my head, and set them aside. Thanks to FLV Milk Chocolate I've managed to get this recipe, but I still haven't figured out why it works while others don't. I hope this works as well for you.

It’s an acid Blondie cigar that’s been kissed by a strawberry. Originally just wanted to do it because I liked the name. First try kind of sucked. Then I forgot about it until /u/patg55 was trying to make his old man a cigar juice with some limited flavors. It turned out really well, so I threw some strawberry in and it worked out pretty darn well.
Eye-catching name for a recipe and an original combination too. I have to admit, I had to look up what an Acid Blondie was when you first mentioned it to me. By the way, the old man is loving that Milk and Honey Cigar recipe you suggested. Great work dude!
I’ve never had an Acid Blondie, but I’ve done a couple different recipes based on reviews of them. One thing that I think that recipe would probably benefit from is .3% FLV Connecticut Shade. The coffee notes in that should make it a bit more cigar like, and also play real nice with the milk of the milk and Honey.
Is there a possible sub for the Absolute? You think leaving it out would hurt the recipe too much?
Doing the 123 thing. This is becoming one of my favorites.

A sweet, creamy greek yogurt with tangy Blueberry and nutty undertones.
My first recipe with help from a friend that doesn't suck!
So, what kind of profile will your Benny and the Jets recipe fit?
Sounds interesting! What is the steep time on this?
3 days!
You can SNV but you're gonna get a slight footy note from the Greek Yogurt. That goes by the 3rd day, and then it's really nice with the nuttyness from the AP. If you use another Greek Yogurt then I can't really say as I've only used CAP. Hey, maybe it's even nicer with TPA so I encourage you to just go for it if you have it. My friend who helped come up with this recipe used it, but I haven't tried his. At first I thought I had fucked up at 3% on CAP Greek Yoggie, but after it mellowed out after a few days I was really pleased with the decision. I love sweet recipes, but I can't stand when everything is simultaneously sweet and it just becomes sugar. The Greek Yogurt really keeps it level so the flavours blend and have a purpose.
Will seem blueberry dominant at the start, but chills out then to a nice all round vape.
I also add a bit of MTS just to make it smooth out a bit, but it's really just a if you have it on you type of thing.
I'm pretty sure this could be improved even further but I really like where it is right now.
Thanks for the reply by the way!
Mixed this up on March 19th and was just testing it today, so far this is my best recipe in terms of a tasty pie crust. Was enjoying it quite a bit. Made a revision that i just mixed up today, hoping it will make the recipe a bit better, interested to hear some more experienced mixers thoughts on how i could improve this recipe.

And here is the revised version i mixed up today. I wanted a bit stronger of a banana note so i raised the TFA Banana Nut bread by half a percent. Wanted a stronger caramel note so i lowered the RY4 double a bit, and added in some FW Salted Caramel. This version hasnt had a chance to steep but im hoping it will be a bit better than the v1. Im curious if maybe i should change out the CAP French Vanilla with a different ingredient? I was using that one to get a nice thick vanilla pudding kind of flavor and texture, but not have the eggyness that something like a vanilla custard would bring. Any suggestions or stuff like that is always welcomed, always interested in learning from people with more knowledge than myself.

First time posting here been at beginner level mixing for a while I just mixed up a batch of this smells delicious already can't wait to try it.
Ah thanks for mixing it up! Any ideas or suggestions are much appreciated, I'm still learning a lot when it comes to recipe dev. Gah always get nervous when people mix my recipes, I hope you like it.
I love it. I am definitely a beginner so I have no idea what could improve it, for my pallet I am thinking something to smooth out that subtle throat hit I get, but I have no idea what could be added. But overall this is currently my favourite dessert flavour. Thanks for posting it.
#A-B-C Tobacco 3-2-1
MFG | Flavor | %
----:|:-------------------------|-------:
INW | AM4A | 3%
FLV | Red Burley | 2%
FA | Cinnamon Ceylon | 1%
So, I had the idea a while back to do a 1-2-3 with tobacco. This is actually the original one I tested.
INW AM4A, I'd been meaning to try this in a blend, so decided to throw it in this one. Using it @3% seemed a bit risky, but it's been done before by more experienced mixers, so why not?
FLV Red Burley - Is there any tobacco blend where this doesn't fit? It's just so versatile.
FA Cinnamon Ceylon - Some time back, /u/chemicalburnvictim described FE Hongtashan as having a cinnamon vibe. Ever since, I've had the thought of a cinnamon tobacco blend, and this seemed like a perfect opportunity. A nice, dry woody spice fits tobacco well, and really complements the Red Burley.
Is it the most perfectly balanced, nuanced recipe? No. But it fits nicely into the 1-2-3 mold of a good quick&dirty and easy to mix recipe that's enjoyable.
Needs about a week, but if you can hold off for a month...
Hm, this looks good!
Thanks!
So how did you like it? I keep thinking it's pretty good, but just needs...something. Maybe /u/chemicalburnvictim would have a good suggestion, I'm thinking maybe either one of the oak flavors, o maybe some TFA western? Something to give it some robustness. Or maybe I'm over complicating it and just need to add some DNB or black for pipe.
Didn't mix it yet, thanks for reminding me tho haha I'll try to mix it by the weekend and let you know what i think.
Just by looking at it i think TPA Western is too much of a bully to play nice, unless it's real low, and the oaks i own (TPAs Red and FA Oakwood) are too sweet, but a woody note sounds great with AM4A.
Found my AM4a, just mixed it.
Smells promising, i'll let it sit for a week and let you know what i think, but don't expect much as i'm shit at writing notes haha
Comments don't have to be extensive. Did you like it or not; what was the main reason for your first answer; what do you think it could use to improve it. Those three details are all that's really important.
Note: not demanding anything, just trying to demonstrate how less is more in comments. You don't have to wax poetic about how great (or vile) something is like you're trying to channel the ghost of /u/ID10-T (following next week, that is).
Tried it this morning, i was surprised by how mellow the cinnamon is but i dig it!
You are on to something about adding some Oak in this, i got a 'woody vibe' from the mix already, but i think Red Oak or FA Oakwood would sweeten it too much.
I'm thinking the TPA Western idea is solid aswell, but really low, something like 0.25%, otherwise it'll probably overpower everything.
Btw it was awesome with a cup of coffee.
I'm vaping it again and i'm not really sure what happened but it got all weird tasting.
I can't taste AM4a at all anymore, i get straight Red Burley upfront (which is nice haha) and then right at the end of the exhale it gets all kind of muddled and a candy like cinnamon shows up.
I really liked it overnight, now not so much sadly.

FLV Vanilla Pudding and FLV Cream are just delicious and to the point. Cream is one of the most interesting flavors I've tried. It's not exactly a realistic tasting cream to me, like FA Cream Fresh, but it tastes like a cream made specifically for vaping.

I am pretty limited on the amount of flavourings I have so i work with what i have.
Honestly its a pretty solid tasting juice, I used a couple other cereal recipes to develop this and it turned out to be more like a creamy cookie with some banana and coconut.
If you guys have any suggestions for the juice let me know!

Technically, since the post contained two recipes, the upvotes oughtta be divided across the two, so /u/thelateoctober's 'breakfast of champions (black coffee, whiskey, smoke)' recipe would be the real winner. ;p
Just so I'm clear on this, /u/thelateoctober should get second place because of points?
Because if you look, i got 12 points last month, lateoctober got 10., and /u/ID10-T only beat me by 3 points.

It’s just a sweet, slightly nutty mix that I’ve been enjoying. I’ve been playing around with it for awhile, and this is where I’ve landed for now. It benefits greatly from a 4-5 day steep.
It's been a long time since I purchased vendor e-liquid but when Adirondack had a sale where you could get one of their flavors for $1 when you bought anything else, I figured I'd buy. I enjoyed their stuff before I got into DIY and the guys were always super cool. So I bought Sagamore on a whim mainly to try the other, more Placid-y flavor they had on sale. First -- this is NOT Sagamore or really even close. I just enjoyed it more than I thought I would and played around with their description and what i thought I could taste.
I've never really liked TPA's RY4 Double but DIYFS' version is really good on its own. Adding the caramel candy and holy vanilla puts this one into the super sweet category so beware to people that avoid sweetness. I made this into two separate 120ml batches, one I tried after two days and one that steeped for 2 weeks. The latter is better by far, the vanilla cupcake is much more noticeable. The other vanillas seem far less bright too. FLV Rich Cinnamon is so strong that even at 0.25% it is still noticeable but seems to support the overall bakery taste with minimal bite. The Acetyl Pyrazine I used to hopefully bring out a bit of the cakey-ness and help everything blend but honestly I'm not exactly sure how much work it's putting in. The Bavarian Cream I just put in everything cause I love it. Not gonna be an ADV for me but with a glass of bourbon at night it's enjoyable. I'll call it Sagaless:
Co. | Flavor | % ---|---|---- DIYFS | Holy Holy Grail RY4 | 8 TPA | Caramel Candy | 2 TPA | Bavarian Cream | 2 TPA | Vanilla Cupcake | 2 DIYFS | Holy Vanilla | 1 TFA | Acetyl Pyrazine | 0.75 FLV | Rich Cinnamon | 0.25

INW Creme Brulée is delicious but not enough on its own for what I wanted, so I lobbed in some FLV Custard to add a little richness without extra weight, and Sweet Coconut for a hint of sweet slightly toasted fluffiness. These three work well together to mimic the kind of creme brulée I dig.
The Ginger and Lemongrass combo works as well in sweet and savory concoctions, so pairing them here wasn't too much of a risk. Lemongrass is low because that shit is expensive, and it still comes through well enough at .25 to be noticeable without giving off any lemon pledge or woody notes.
You may want to add a few drops of INW cactus to it too, because it can feel a little dry - but don't overdo it.
Give it a week to settle down, and enjoy!

A macaron flavored with fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil
The theme for Mixers' Club was "duets" - taking two existing recipes and making them sing together. I wanted to try to marry my macaron base from my Mango Blossom Macaron to the best recipe to come out of last year's DIYorDIE world mixing competition, the heavenly three-ingredient In a Godda Da Vida by the incomparable /u/mlNikon. The earliest versions were disastrous. TFA Papaya and FA Pomegranate and not to be trifled with. It took turning them down further and further and even adjusting the ratio a bit to get Godda to fit into a light and airy meringue and almond flour cookie with an ingratiating touch of forbidden fruit flavor.
I find FA Pomegranate to be really hard to work with aswell, it has that weird woody note that tends to mess things up.
Yep. It's a huge PITA. My first version of this was beyond messed up, it was actually nauseatingly nasty. FA Pom 0.75% ruined it. Even 0.5% proved to be too much, hence the odd looking 0.38%. It was like playing flavor limbo, how low do I have to go?

I got it from Inawera Flavours. There’s quite a few flavors there that I wish I could find in the States.
Reposting here, I did make a separate post for it, if the mods don't think there's enough extra content feel free to delete that one. Updating with steeping notes here
Türkmentol Black/Green
This is a tobacco mix I've been working on that's been steeping for 2 days, there's two versions of the same basic recipe, the Black which is a quite a smooth, slightly sweet tobacco with vanilla notes and the Green which is a menthol version of the Black minus the vanilla. The Black also contains a touch of menthol which adds a slight cooling affect to the draw rather than a full on menthol taste.

Notes
This is the first time I've used Vape Wizard (I just wanted to try it out) and I'm not entirely sure what, if anything it brings to this mix. I have the same mix without it but I haven't tried it yet, may update later. The saline, I find makes the mouth feel less dry and helps to pull the flavors together. The vanilla is quite upfront on the first couple of pulls but recedes into a background note quite quickly. As I said above there is a touch of menthol in this but it is more for the slight cooling affect than the flavor, the vanilla also helps in masking any lingering menthol flavor I think.

No vanilla in this but basically the same otherwise. You could go stronger but I think you'd lose a lot of the subtleties. If you want a stronger menthol I'd go with the basic version that inspired this here. You can taste the saline slightly more in this I think. It interacts quite nicely with the menthol.
Steep times/notes
I think these would probably need to steep for at least a couple of days if not more, as there are so many flavors in them. The Black for Pipe tends to lose it's smokeyness over time though, I tried to compensate for that with the DNB which whilst not smokey does bring a certain "ashiness".
-
Türmentol Black, after 2 days: Quite smooth and sweet with vanilla notes.
-
Türkmentol Black, after 4 days: The vanilla and the menthol have faded, still smooth. Surprisingly to me it now has a touch of whisky to it taking the place of the vanilla. If you like boilermakers, this goes really nice with a beer at this point.
-
Türkmentol Green, after 5 days: Much smoother, less harsh all the flavors are bedding in nicely, not such a big change in flavor as the Black. The menthol has mellowed a little.
-
Türkmentol Black, after 10 days: The whisky undertone has mostly gone, really smoky with a really sweet draw now. Very cigar-like, the cigars with the sweet wrapping (Blunt maybe).
Final comments
I'm new at this, mainly mixing for my own tastes, so any advice is greatly appreciated. I feel I may have too many ingredients but it does seem to work, nothing stands out (apart from the menthol in the Green) and it all comes together as a whole.
Edit: Updated to include steeping notes from the main post.
both recipes need at least 15 days steeping.you may test it in 2 days, but just to get an idea of where the mix is going.vape wizard might soften the harsh edges, but even a wizard needs time.the only normal(i mean not n.e.t) tobaccos that steep fast are flavorah's,at least from the ones i have used.
Yeah, thanks for the advice., I've been testing it every few days, it's definitely vapable after 2 and it's quite nice before the Black For Pipe recedes into the mix too much, though very different than after a steep. The Türkmental Black at least seems to have settled down after 10 days, that's not to say it won't improve obviously. I have bottles steeping which I'm going to test after 2 months and see what that does to them. Results here if you're interested. I wanted to test them like this so I could understand how the mix changes over time.
https://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/8cmfvo/t%C3%BCrkmentol_blackgreen_tobacco_mixes/ I've updated it so the steeping notes are over here too.

I tried to make a fresh, fruity and somewhat hoppy NEIPA, and surprisingly I'm pretty happy how it turned out. Obviously this clearly doesn't really taste like beer, more like inspired by the flavor character of nice unfiltered ales.
The "beer base" is obviously the yakima hops and liquid amber with some malted milk that's supposed to impart some mild malty qualities, and the fruits to create the fruitiness from the hops. The pink guava especially is way too strong to accurately represent anything found in ales, but I liked it so there you have it. Cactus to bring a bit of moisture, and it actually plays nicely with the hops, and some sweetener to smooth the whole thing down bit. Give it a one week steep, it's fairly thin and harsh to start with.
Seeing as how it has been more than two weeks since his last recipe post, I am forced to conclude /u/ID10-T has passed on. Or possibly been turned into a newt. So, in his memory, I offer another 1-2-3 recipe:
#Honey Nut Tobacco 1-2-3
MFG | Flavor | %
----:|:-------------------------|-------:
FLV | Red Burley | 1%
SC | Honey Flue Cured | 2%
INW | Tobacco Symphony | 3%
FLV Red Burley and INW Tobacco Symphony provide the nutty tobacco everyone knows and expects. SC Honey Flue Cured adds the sweetness. Steep for a week. Better if you have a month, tho...
Co. | Flavor | % :--|:--:|--: FW | Mango Guava | 8% DIYFS | Li Hing Mui | 5% CAP | Super Sweet | 0.3%
I live in Hawaii and it tastes just like the shaved ice I had in Kailua Beach. Its fruity and simple, but so tasty. All my Hawaiian friends love it.
It's a great shake and vape but after a 3 day steep the Li Hing Mui really comes out.
It's a simple recipe but sometimes Less is more…
Apryl
Apricot RY4 Pastry
*FA Apricot 1.5%
*FA Tangerine 0.5%
*FA Soho 4%
*FA RY4 2%
*FA Cookie 0.5%
FA Apricot is bright and fresh and delicious, backed up with a little citrus bite from the tangerine. Soho is a kinda crisp caramel-y bakery thing, (which honestly to me smells like the little crunchy brown caramelized edges of cornbread) and combined with some sweet crunchy AP from Cookie, and some darker caramel, almost molasses kind of notes from RY4 make a nice caramelized pastry thing for the apricot to sit in.
One of my favorite vapes hope you enjoy!

Hi everyone, new DIYer here. Well I made my own juice for about a year in 2011/2012 but I didn't do much research, mostly just chucked stuff together and ended up vaping single flavours for the most part. This time around I'm trying to do it properly, mixing by weight and keeping notes etc.
Anyway I've made it to this point with my first recipe after a bit of trial and error, changing percentages, adding and removing other fruit flavours. It's a pleasantly sour apple tasting vape but it's a bit dry and I feel like it needs something else, but I'm not sure where to go.
Honeydew Melon (CAP) 2%
Pear Candy (TFA) 3%
Two apples (INW) 3%
Cactus (INW) 1%
Kiwi (CAP) 1%
Super sweet (CAP) 0.5%
Does anyone have any ideas how I can take this to the next level? Cream? Marshmallow? More sweetener? Something else?
Any help appreciated. Thanks.
Another take... ditch the sweetener and add maybe 1.5% FLV red burley, if it's dry enough. May need a touch of Bitter Wizard to dry it enough tho...
Thanks for the ideas. I'm preparing my 2nd flavour order so I'll consider these now too.
I might take it back, remove the kiwi and sweetener and play around with different melon flavours. I have another recipe using CAP Cantaloupe which I think gives a juicier sweet flavour than the honeydew once it's steeped a bit longer.
In memory of a close friend who died April 24th. His favorite color was orange and a combination of orange and green.
Ingredient|% :---|---: Blood Orange (Natural) (FW)|2.00 Pear (FA)|1.00 Pink Champagne (FW)|0.50 Red Touch (Strawberry) (FA)|1.50 Sweet Tangerine (CAP)|1.50

The wake starts in 30 minutes, and the funeral in 2 hours. I haven't seen anyone from his family in several years so... This is an attempt to keep busy instead of letting anxiety take over.
E: It went well and the juice turned out nice. I showed it to a few of the people there to help remember Alan. It actually led to a potential sale. This stuff is nice, too nice to have been made on a whim in a few minutes.
Pear and Strawberry are almost nonexistent, serving as back notes and sweetness.
Tangerine and Blood orange is up front and potent. There's no mistaking that this is orange.
Pink Champagne - I don't fully understand what it's doing here exactly but I don't think this would have been as good without it. There's an almost fizzy, fuzzy quality to it that I believe is coming from the Pink Champagne.
Replaced ELR link with ATF.
So, back in February I mixed up this recipe variant after CBV suggested it:
MFG | Flavor | %
----:|:-------------------------|-------:
FLV | Red Burley | 1.5%
FA | Oak Wood | 3%
FA | Whiskey | 2%
TFA | Kentucky Bourbon | 2%
Keep this in your mind. It just finished steeping recently. But I have a cold so didn't test as soon as it was ready.
Last month, someone requested a cinnamon menthol recipe. I mixed up a batch of this
MFG | Flavor | %
----:|:-------------------------|-------:
TFA | White Chocolate | 8%
FLV | Rich Cinnamon | .5%
FW | Marshmallow | 3%
FA | Cocoa | .5%
TFA | Menthol | 1.5%
Obviously the rich cinnamon and Menthol were the heart of the request. Just those alone, tho...? Needed something to hold them together. Chocolate and mint love one another. Chocolate also pairs most excellently with cinnamon. So the right chocolate was needed. I decided to build my own milk chocolate from tfa white, fa cocoa, and FW marshmallow. It really did work fairly well. So, I had two bottles looking much the same, still some nasal congestion, and a lot of distraction recently. So when I decided to vape some more of my menthol blend... stop me if you know where this is going.
Yeah. We're talking awesome sauce. Honestly I should've thought of it intentionally before the serendipitous accident, considering I liked the idea of FE Hongtashan in that first recipe instead of red burley...
MFG | Flavor | %
----:|:-------------------------|-------:
FLV | Red Burley | .75%
FA | Oak Wood | 1.5%
FA | Whiskey | 1%
TFA | Kentucky Bourbon | 1%
TFA | White Chocolate | 4%
FLV | Rich Cinnamon | .25%
FW | Marshmallow | 1.5%
FA | Cocoa | .25%
TFA | Menthol | .75%
Let it steep a month so it really developes fully. Make a big batch. Honestly, I'd probably sub a mint in for the menthol, if I knew the right one to use. But damn... I don't do ADV... I like variety. But if I did? This shit is a contender.
Ummm where’s the menthol?
Ninja edited. Spellwreck got me when I tried posting from my phone. Dunno why it wanted to change menthol to marshmallow, but... Of course, the notes kinda named every other ingredient in the menthol mix, so process of elimination would have done the job.
So I accidentally made a dinner lady apple pie clone, and so far it's spot on. I was going for a sour apple cheesecake and it turned out completely different but I'm very happy with it.
I based it off of an orange creamsicle flavour, believe it or not.
TFA Bavarian Cream - 4.8%
FA Fuji - 3%
FA Lemon Sicily - 1.5%
CAP New York Cheesecake - 8%
I'll be making flavour notes tomorrow and working on it a bit. I believe it needs some cinnamon, but I have no idea how it's gonna turn out after steeping
First recipe I've made that I feel like is sharable!
Simple Cinna Cream Pie
-
TFA Bavarian Cream - 2.5%
-
CAP Vanilla Whipped Cream - 1.5%
-
TFA Graham Cracker (clear) - 2%
-
CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl - 1.75%
-
CAP Super Sweet - 0.5%
Edit: you might be able to go with meringue to sweeten this a bit instead of using super sweet, I just can't use meringue. 1 drop in a 30ml bottle ruins the juice for me... meringue is 100% jar of planters nuts for me.
You may have gotten a mislabeled concentrate. Although I'd be interested to know what FA makes that tastes like salted peanuts. Might be useful in making a vape based on a Frangelico shooter I barely remember.
I don't think it was mislabeled, I think I just cant vape any kind of flavoring that has AP in it I think. I've never been able to vape most bakery flavors because they all have this overwhelming nuttyness to them. Some creams and most of the bakery stuff like cookies etc are all off the table for me completely. They all taste exactly the same, nothing of the profile they are intended, just this gross nuttyness.
I suck with juice, recently got into DIY to try and better pinpoint what the hell I suck with so much. 200+ commercial juices yielded me all of 2 ADVs. I've put 90% of my DIY effort trying to clone my favorite ADV that I vape most of the time, but have been failing pretty hard lol (Pink starburst flavor from mitten).
I hear you on not finding many ADVs. There are only two juices I can think of right now that I have not gotten tired of over several bottles of both, despite all of the other delicious juices I've tried. Cool Lime/Cool Mango by Chill EJuices are both very very similar and delicious and Wata Mango from Loyalty (Five Star Juice I believe is the manufacturer). I actually decided to try and DIY juice because Cool Lime/Cool Mango I can't get in stores near me anymore and I want to try and replicate them, and Wata Mango would be a happy accident if I could make something similar too...
Melon Burst
Honeydew Melon - Capella - 15%
Cantaloupe - Flavor West - 4%
Sweet Cream - Flavor West - 1%
I used http://www.steam-engine.org/juice.html to get all the calculations.
Tested in the Dead Rabbit RDA. This flavor is spot on. I think the only difference is that the genuine Melon Burst has stronger flavor, so maybe add a little bit more melon. But other than that, this is spot on in my opinion
Candy King- Sour Worms Clone
Black Cherry (FA) @ .25%
Blood Orange (FW) @ 1%
Gummy Candy (PG) (TPA) @1.5%
Lemonade (Natural) (FW) @1%
Rainbow Candy (Skittles) (FW) @1%
Raspberry (Sweet) (TPA) @2%
Sour (TPA) @2.5%
Sour Gummy Candy (SC) (WF) @3%
Strawberry (TPA) @2%
Mix at 20pg/80vg base
Here we go, I'm trying a hand at this because I have two guilty pleasures in life.
-Jelly Doughnuts, like hot off the rack and
-Sour Gummy worms
I'm not going after remaking clones that are clones of remixes of someone else. I'm going after the straight profile for the best that I can find. I was kind of shocked to see that it wasn't on juicedb.com for as popular as that juice is but I found this following description on the two hyperlinks, which gives me a little bit more to work with, as the other websites had a generic "This is sour gummy yo!"
Candy King Sour Worms 100ML ejuice is a perfectly combined sweet and sour gummy flavored e-liquid. This incredible Sour Worms E-Liquid flavor features orange, lime, lemon, strawberry, cherry, and raspberry all topped off with a sweet dose of granulated sugar. It tastes just as good as it sounds!
https://ejuice.deals/products/candy-king-sour-worms http://www.vaperoyalty.com/candy-king-sour-worms-100ml/
Notes for consideration Orange, I have no orange candy-ish flavor, I had Sweet Tangerine but i'm out, the next best thing I have is blood orange.
Lime/Lemon- I'm going to be using lemonade to assist with sweetness and converging the two, as my table appears to be crowded with flavors as it is, future substitute Lemon Lime or Citrus Punch
Strawberry- ..uh, just going to use strawberry (tfa) solid flavor
Cherry- Black Cherry (FA) really helped my other candy recipe, Thug Candy shine, and I'm going to see if i can get that replicated here.
Raspberry- Sweet Raspberry
From what i could see, its a 80/20 mix, which I think I can accomplish, and heres to trying it.
Due to the one Candy King flavor profile review I could find, was for Patch, the JuiceDB user claimed that his coils were NOT killed by that juice. I'm going to omit the sweetner, (and maybe the sour) to see how this tastes, but I believe this to be a true rendition of the flavor profile, and I hope it works out.

Sounds really throat-rapey
Also the sour at 2.5 :s
i’m still newer at this but I made this not too long ago and thought it was pretty good, let me know if you have any tips
Kiwi (TFA) 9%
Watermelon 3.5%
Sour 3%
Here is a helpful article about TPA Sour. 3% is going to seriously mute your other flavors.
Personally, I probably wouldn’t use either of the two other ingredients above 2%. I’m a big fan of kiwi and melon, so I like where your mind is! Have you ever tried FA Kiwi, or FLV Wild Melon?
thanks for the help! and not yet, i’m still pretty new to mixing. i would love some more recommendation on fruity or fruity x sweet flavors and recipes
You can find a ton of great info by searching this sub’s old flavor of the week threads! Just plug in something like ‘flavor of the week melon’ and reap in the bounty of useful anecdotes. And if you haven’t checked out ATF, you should do that too- it will be more useful the larger your flavor arsenal gets, but for now you can order recipes by rating, and get a good idea of what people consider ‘staple’ concentrates.
You tasted anything, using a product only labeled as "Sour" from an unknown source?
they’re all TFA, should have been more clear
