I am just now noticing the DIY classified is banned. Why? Is it gone for good? Is there a replacement? There was a ton of good things going on in there and it REALLY SUCKS it is gone.

Could someone fill me in?

Very thankful for that and that they didn't start banning accounts as well as subs like they did with other subreddits that got removed.

New Reddit guidelines have banned subreddits dealing with the sale/promotion of products which contain nicotine, as well as other "contraband".

I thought it was "tobacco products" and not specifically nicotine. Since everyone likes to classify vaping as a tobacco product

It was tobacco products. FDA classifies juice with nicotine as a tobacco product so that's why everyone follows suit.

FDA classifies all ejuice (and gear) as tobacco products. At least they did last time I read the regulations.

ALL juice even 0mg is considered tobacco products as well as all gear... according to the fantastic FDA!

The subreddit was shut down because of that reason... and this subreddit is not allowed any form of juice sales or swaps either.... so sad
