Vape Train Honeycomb

DISCLAIMER: These are my personal notes that I am sharing with the community & palates are different.

Setup: Hussar RDA V1 Parallel N80 26G 6.5 wraps 2.5MM .3 ohm 35 watts

Testing Info: Steeped for 21 days Mixed 5,6,&7%. 70vg 30pg

Vape Train's Description: VTA Doesn't have a description for this flavor, but they suggest solo percentages between 5-10% & mixing between 3-5%.

5%: Smooth no harshness sweet and buttery. With some bakery style notes.

6%: Getting some slight harshness. Very buttery bakery type notes. fairly sweet guessing thats the honey part because i do not get a distictive honey taste. Medium bodied mouthfeel.

7% Bakery notes are more at the front now. Still got some buttery sweetness. The harshness is no worse than it was at 6%.

Final Thoughts: VTA's suggested percentages seem about right to me. I didn't get any werid off notes. Did get the slightest bit of harshness the higher i pushed it. This should have a wide range of useages in just about any bakery recipe. Although i didn't get any distinct honey flavor, so if you are looking to use it for a honey note in a recipe you will have to look elsewhere. This should pair up nicely with FLV milk & honey to give that honey note though. This at a fairly medium body mouthfeel at all the percentages i tested it. All & all this is a pretty solid flavor & made a pleasant single flavor vape.

I love this concentrate! I get honey from it, but it’s more of the baked granola type of honey flavor- a lot darker and heavier than regular honey. It pairs great with nuts, and it works with lemon, too.

I find it takes around 4 days for the caramel flavour to shine at 5%. It goes really well with FW Butter Pecan. For a simple 2 ingredient recipe try 3% FW Butter Pecan and 5% VT Honeycomb. Really nice as a S& V but Honeycomb flavour comes out more after 4 days

I only have PUR Butter Pecan (which is great, by the way), but I might pick up FW sometime soon and give this a try. It sounds great.

I heard good things about Purilium concentrates. Can't get them this side of the pond unfortunately. Try it out. Should work great.

Honeycomb is a type of candy... not straight up honey. It's like the inside of this. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crunchie

It's like a honey/toffee flavor. It's good but yeah... definitely not "honey".

I know there’s honeycomb candies, but I’m also pretty sure it’s a stand-alone food. I’d agree that VT’s seems more like a baked good/treat, though.

Crunchie

Crunchie is a brand of chocolate bar with a honeycomb toffee (or sponge toffee as known in Canada) sugar centre. It is made by Cadbury and was originally launched in the UK by J. S. Fry & Sons in 1929.

Oh ok taste closer to a honeycomb cereal than a toffee and honey candy. I get no toffee from it either
